Why I Chose It
I chose the Tantus Beginner Ball Gag as the Test Winner because of its approachable and versatile design. While Tantus technically markets this as a beginner ball gag, I think it’s more of a dildo gag with a beginner-friendly shape and size. Thanks to the slim neck on the insertable bit, this gag is much more breathable and comfortable compared to a regular ball gag. The velcro fastening may be too easy to escape for some, but I think it’s quite strong and holds up well!
This unique design also gives you a similar sensation to using a traditional dildo gag. Since I had pleasure of testing it out myself, my partner and I really enjoyed using it during scenarios with multiple penetration play!
My favorite thing about this dildo gag is that the straps are removable. This makes cleaning and sterilizing a lot easier. I generally appreciate the high quality materials used in this gag. It bodes well for the overall longevity.

Why I Chose It
The Runner-Up of this review is the super elegant dildo gag from UPKO. It has a super beginner-friendly design and the overall quality is really great!
Our tester Isabelle loved the look and feel of this dildo gag: “The red and gold design is incredibly sexy and the materials are fantastic quality! It’s also very comfortable to wear thanks to the cute heart-shaped breathing hole and silicone straps on the mouth piece.”
However, the biggest con is that UPKO claims that the design is reversible and can be worn with the dildo facing both inwards and outwards. However, Isabelle concluded that this wasn’t really possible in practice. It can therefore only be worn with the dildo facing outward. That said, “the dildo is also quite small so won’t be the most filling for the person being penetrated”. Still, it could add some fun to face riding.

Why I Chose It
Now, I also personally tested the Bondage Boutique Leather and Studs Dildo Gag. While it wasn’t my favorite, it still is a decent contender for a dildo gag that looks the part and doesn’t break the bank. Of all the more affordable dildo gags out there, this is one of the better ones!
My biggest issue personally is the materials. I’m a little picky when it comes to sex toys that go in my mouth or vagina, and simply have a hard time with rubber as it is a porous materials that will harbor bacteria over time. It also had quite a smell and taste to it which put me off the experience at first. Since the gag isn’t removable, it seems difficult to clean thoroughly.
I do like the genuine leather. It seems well-made and fairly durable. I also really like the overall look of studs and black leather. But the panel itself was quite rigid and didn’t align with the curvature of my face, so it looked a bit weird at times.
Overall, it’s a great item to use occasionally for more intense BDSM gag play but it’s not my top recommendation for something high quality and long-lasting.

Why I Chose It
The Bondage Boutique Inflatable Dildo Gag is my top recommendation for those just can’t get enough of being stuffed to the brim with a dildo gag. The size and inflatable feature of this dildo gag, makes it a great option for already advanced players looking to step up their dildo gag game.
The neutral design makes this dildo gag nice and discreet. I also like how the panel hides what’s really going on inside your sub’s mouth as you’re pumping away. However, some users experienced that the leather mouth panel was a bit too rigid and slightly uncomfortable to wear, as it doesn’t contour to your face.
Our tester, Lexis, however, still had a great time with the inflatable feature and found many uses for it: “I enjoyed how far the gag goes into the throat.
