How These Double Dildos Were Tested
Here at Bedbible, the data in our reviews is gathered in a couple of different ways, our favorite being hands-on testing! Personally testing each and every toy isn’t always possible, but you’ll be able to read about our first impressions if we have tried a particular toy. I personally tested some of these products, and read many dildo reviews from other Bedbible testers, so you know this review is written with honest, real-life experiences in mind.
Alongside testing, I also spent a whole lot of time comparing user reviews to manufacturer claims, taking close notes on any discrepancies we might find. All of our reviews highlight both the positives and negatives of each toy, helping you learn everything you’d want to know before you buy. Each toy receives a “Bedbible Rating” as well, which is scored on a scale of 1 to 5 and calculated based on the dildo’s design, ease of use, quality, and price!
Types of Double Dildo
We’ve outlined the differences between the most common types of double dildos below. Use this to decide which design is best for you!
- U-Shaped – Perfect for masturbation, U-shaped dildos are designed to penetrate both your vagina and your anus simultaneously!
- I-Shaped – Essentially, these are traditional dildos with two ends! They can be used solo for deep penetration, or with a partner for dual penetration.

Materials
Non-porous materials are the preferred option when it comes to internal sex toys (or sex toys in general, for that matter). Since they’re non-porous, they can easily be sterilized, eliminating any potential for accidentally introducing bacteria into your vagina/anus. Silicone, glass, and metal can all be sterilized using boiling water! However, porous toys are a tempting option, since they’re often cheaper. Unfortunately, being “porous” means that they have thousands of microscopic holes that can easily harbor bacteria inside them. PVC, jelly, vinyl, TPE, and TPR are all common porous materials. If you decide to buy a porous toy anyway, make sure it’s labeled as “phthalate-free”!
Are Double Dildos for Solo or Partner Play?
Different double dildos are designed for different purposes. While some (such as the I-shaped dildos) will work for both solo and partner play, you won’t be able to penetrate both orifices at the same time with this type of toy. You can DP yourself with a DP dildo, but it won’t be as useful with a partner. Our tester really liked the Blush Rusé Double Dildo. The girth was very satisfying and the semi-realistic design elements added a nice touch the visual aspect. She found that it worked really well for partnered play but also could get the job done for solo double penetration fun. It’s thick enough to feel satisfyingly filling, but is still approachable for those without their monster dildo certification yet (which is definitely something that I just made up). Although, keep in mind that if may be a bit too thick for beginner-level anal play.
I appreciate that it’s made from high-quality silicone, which is rare in the world of double dildos, and means that this toy can keep you pleased for a long time to come! My only note is that it isn’t very flexible. You can bend it and angle it a bit but it will naturally find its way back to that u-shape.
