Design

Unfortunately the design is where the product falls short. Two things, the lesser being that you can't really adjust the height. You can adjust it somewhat by shortening all of the straps, which is a bit of a faff if you and your play partner want to keep switching/taking it in turns to be in the swing as all the straps need to be modified every time. Unless you and your partner are the same height and body type it's going to be a bit time consuming. The main issue however is the way the swing attempts to support the neck/head, the ergonomics here are needing some serious modification. The ‘C’ shaped upper bar (while sturdy) has a limited depth, so if you are not a super short person even when the straps are loosened you are kind of hunched up in a curled position which is very uncomfortable. Even if you have no neck or back problems you will not find this a pleasant position to be in. It’s a robust design but you can’t decline in a laid back position because you are limited to the depth of the C shaped support bar. The more you adjust the swing into a chair like position the better it is, you may also find it's more comfortable removing the cushion or having it placed under your neck as opposed to your head. If you're wanting a swing where you are in a laid back position I think you will need to look elsewhere. Interestingly, I am not alone in this opinion, reading through some other reviews I can see that unfortunately multiple customers are reporting the same problem. A fix would be if the manufacturers modify the upper bar, I think it could work much better if it were remade at a 90º angle, instead of being a curved bar. This would give more depth so that your head a neck could be more relaxed.

Ease of Use

Is it easy to use? The adjustable straps are not the easiest I've encountered, and the set up of this swing needs very much to be tailored to the individual. If you can get it into an upright position that is comfortable for the swing user then great, and if you can succeed in it being the right height for your partner where they don't have to bend their knees or go on tip toes to reach you then you're doing well. Unfortunately it's not really height adjustable, the carabiner clips just attach directly into the ceiling fittings. Don't change it from your favourite position one found and it will be much easier to use going forwards. However, my play partner and I regularly switch in our dom/sub roles, so if you want the swing to be usable for multiple people it's a lot more complicated. Modifying the adjustments to this swing is nowhere near as quick and easy as my other swing, as I said earlier if you're in this situation it turns into a bit of a faff each time you set it up. All of this could have been easier if there was any form of a user guide or manual. I would appreciate position and adjustment suggestions on how to use the swing. It took a lot of fussing and guessing to even figure out that the swing only really works in an upright/seated position.

Quality

Although the quality of this product isn't bad it's not as high a quality as my other one, the DOMINIX Deluxe Fantasy Bondage Swing, which is actually cheaper than this swing ironically.

Price

I don't want to come across as too negative, through the modifications mentioned above I will be able to keep using and enjoying this sex swing. It supports my lower back better than other swings and that's a really big tick for me! However, do I think this swing is worth the price? I must say sadly I'm not sure it is. The quality being only adequate compared to other swings, combined with the fairly major design flaw leaves me little room to recommend purchasing this sex swing at the current price. Sorry DOMINIX, it's not terrible, but it does need a bit of a design rethink.

Performance

Okay, so I've covered a lot of the issues, why don't I get discuss where it performed well. The bar is really sturdy, the storage has been thought through in the design. It's not too heavy but equally feels reliable. It comes with all the carabiner clips that you need. The sling itself is comfortable for your body (besides previously mentioned issues), one of the issues I've had with swings in the past is not enough support for the lower back and this swing performs really well here. The thigh straps are perfect, really comfy and you can move around where you want to hang them. The pillow is a nice touch too! Also there is plenty of opportunity to add further restraints if you have any. I've been quid to add ankle and wrist cuffs when using mine 😉

Packaging

This swing was packaged in its storage bag. No pictures or labels meaning discretion at its upmost. Unfortunately there was no user manual or positioning tips included. But check out the pic for a closer look at the velcro on the removable pillow!

Materials and care

This is a sturdy and reliable sex swing that is of fair weight but not too heavy. The storage bag included is great, finally a product with a decent storage bag! The bag is black with a draw string opening, it also has a strap handle for carrying, the bag is really practical for both transport and storage. As for cleaning I would recommend warm soapy water or a cheeky wet-wipe spruce down.
