Why I Chose It

I was lucky enough to test out the Dame Fin for myself. Now, I may be biased but I had no doubt in my mind that it was going to be the Test Winner of this review. This tiny little finger vibrator is so incredibly powerful, luxurious, and versatile.

While it may be considered a con that it only has 3 settings and one button to scroll through them, I’m gonna tell it to you straight. You don’t need more than three! Once you get to the highest setting, you probably won’t last long anyway. That was my experience, at least!

Now, even though I’m not a fan of buzzy vibrations (which the Dame Fin definitely has) I somehow don’t really care once it’s doing its thing. I think that has a lot to do with the quality of the vibrator. The sensations are buzzy but not weak or superficial.

While the tether didn’t fit my slightly larger than average fingers very comfortably, it was easily removable. The indents in the actual toy seemed to fit my fingers a lot better. Still, I appreciate that it’s there for added stability.

Last but not least, my favorite part is versatility. Use it over or under your fingers for more or less direct contact with your clitoris. The two different sides also offer different sensations. There’s more firm, pinpoint pleasure, or more broad, flat, and squishy sensations.

The Lovehoney Ignite is both an affordable and super beginner-friendly option for those who aren’t quite ready (or willing) to invest in an expensive finger vibrator. For the relatively small price it’s sold at, it actually offers some impressive features.

I am quite impressed with how many different vibrations settings this tiny device has to offer. 20 different speeds and patterns! I think this would make it great for teasing or edging both for solo play or with a partner. It’s also fully submersible and ideal for some fun in the shower or bath.

Now, this vibrator isn’t perfect either. It has more buzzy than rumbly vibrations. Even though it is a question of preference, I know that most cheaper vibrators with buzzy vibrations tend to be more surface-level, and can end up making fingers and hands numb after a while.

Our tester, Edie, also noted that she “was disappointed that the control button is on the bottom of the toy, instead of the body. Because of that, you have to use your other hand to cycle through the settings“.

Even though she also mentions that the finger loop is quite stretchy and will fit most fingers, I am inclined to suggest that it actually won’t feel comfortable for those with very large fingers. Keep that in mind before purchasing, since it’s difficult to hold otherwise.

The Screaming O Charged Positive is basically a bullet vibrator with an attachment that turns it into a finger vibrator. Even though finger vibrators are pretty easy to use as is, I think the finger attachment makes it a lot easier and fun to use. Especially with a partner, or if you simply enjoy the idea of using it as an extension of your finger rather than gripping it. The size and shape of this bullet also makes it ideal to use for either precise pinpoint fun, or use the longer side to pamper a broader area of the body.

I have to admit, I was personally skeptical when I first learned about this toy. Something about the design didn’t exactly scream ‘high-end, good quality finger vibrator’ to me. I am brave enough to admit it when I’m wrong. This little bullet vibrator packs quite the punch is a lot more rumbly than it looks or sounds. As Edie, our tester, noted:

“If you like power, it only takes minutes to get you where you want to go. Plus, the vibrations are so deep, that they echo through your entire vulva (or penis)! Oh my goodness, this thing creates the most out-of-this-world orgasms.”

Of course, the powerful vibrations come with a catch. It’s noisy. It wouldn’t be my first choice if I wanted full discretion.

While I usually only use and recommend 100% non-porous materials like silicone, ABS plastic, metal, or glass when it comes to sex toys, I need to get off my high horse in regards to this vibrator. The finger attachment is made of ABS plastic. Great! The bullet vibe itself is coated with PU (polyurethane), which is actually considered hypoallergenic and doesn’t promote the growth of bacteria. So, it is more body-safe than you would expect! Of course, being fully waterproof, it’s also super easy to clean thoroughly between uses.

I simply had to include the Fantasy For Her Finger Vibrator in this review because of its unique design. By now you should know that I love finger vibrators. But what I love even more is when vibrators are designed to be wearable as well!

The adjustable strap on this device allows you to fasten it securely to your underwear and go about your day. I think this is great if you enjoy public play, or enjoy walking around with it as foreplay (or just to make chores around the house a lot more fun!).

One con about the adjustable strap is that it doesn’t quite tighten enough to stay put. When using it as a finger vibrator you might find yourself struggling to keep it in place if you have slimmer fingers.

In terms of size and shape, it’s a bit of mixed bag. Our tester, Katie, liked the ergonomic shape of the vibrator and thought “the toy fit nicely in my hand and followed the curves of my body as well as my fingers, so it was very easy to navigate and control“. However, she also noted that “it felt quite big when I strapped it to my underwear. Even though it felt good, it felt quite bulky and not that subtle.”
