When I first opened the Lovehoney Deluxe Recharge Mini Massage Wand Vibrator, I was in love with the colors. When I held it in my hands though, I will be honest that the plastic shaft did feel low quality. It feels like it might break, but so far, it’s been fine. Excited to try it, it took me a minute to figure out how to turn it on. I’m accustomed to an on/off button, but with this toy, you turn it on by pressing the + button that also increases the vibration intensity. Alas, when I finally turned it on, I was off to the races.

Design

I love the colors of the Lovehoney Deluxe Mini Massage Wand Vibrator. The handle is bright red/pink and fades into purple. I think this is much more exciting and cute than a solid color (plus nearly all the toys in my collection are solid purple, so it’s great to switch it up). I also love that the shiny, bright red/pink and purple is contrasted with the black matte buttons and head.

Ease of Use

The Lovehoney Deluxe Mini Massage Wand Vibrator is super easy to use, as its simple design only has three buttons. I did get a little confused though when I first tried to turn it on and there was no on/off button. To turn it on, you push the + button that also increases the intensity. I’m accustomed to toys that have separate buttons for turning it on/off and increasing/decreasing the vibration intensity. However, the toy was super simple to use after I figured this out. The toy is also super lightweight, making it easy for me to hold and maneuver. When it came to playing with it, the shape of the toy is simple and straightforward — there were no surprises with this vibe.

Quality

The quality of the Mini Massage Wand Vibrator toy feels pretty low to me. It doesn’t have that high-quality feel when you hold it. The silicone head is soft and smooth, though the handle feels like pretty cheap plastic. While this does make it lightweight, I’m worried it might break. This toy definitely has a high-intensity buzzing vibration, as opposed to rumbles, which makes it a bit loud. I’m curious to see how long this toy lasts.

Price

This toy is around $50 and I think this tracks for the quality. As I said, it doesn’t have that high-quality feel, so if it was going for any more than $50 I would be a little skeptical. I think this toy is priced right and if you’re looking for a vibe that does the trick without spending $100 or more, this could be your ticket.

Performance

The best way for me to describe the performance of the Lovehoney Deluxe Mini Massage Wand Vibrator is that it got the job done, but that’s about it. There aren’t any qualities or features that make this toy stand out or perform beyond the basics. I did like that the vibration intensity can go up super high, and it worked well for me during partnered sex, as it fit well between our bodies, and the large head and high-intensity buzz was stimulating even when we were fumbling around and the vibrator was exactly in the right spot.

Packaging

The packaging was basic, nothing special. It came in a thin cardboard box and the toy was resting on a plastic tray inside. I’d say the quality of packaging was on par with the quality of the toy— it’s basic and gets the job done. The box is white with a colored image of the toy, and matching colored text. Cute, but also didn’t feel special to me.

Materials and care

The shaft of the Lovehoney Deluxe Mini Massage Wand Vibrator is made of plastic and it is very light weight. The head of the wand is made of soft silicone. It doesn’t come with a storage bag or box, which was a little disappointing because I like to have some sort of pouch or stand for my toys to keep them clean and to reduce wear. The toy is splashproof, not waterproof, which makes it a little inconvenient to wash thoroughly.
