What’s in the box?

Design

So when it came to design, at first, I knew this was going to be a product I was going to fall in love with. I really love how sleek the black looks and the heart on the front adds a touch of luxury - they could have just left it as a simple, plain box, but instead Lovehoney branded it with the logo. To me, it really shows they have put the effort in. The only risk to this design feature, is that if you know the Lovehoney logo, you know what is most likely inside the box... Otherwise, I would sya your pretty safe, espeically with the ability to lock the box. On the inide, I love the multiple

Ease of Use

As far as storage boxes go, it is a very easy product to use and navigate. The zips are chunky and secure, being sturdy enough and good quality. Each of the zips have a loop for a lock to be fed through. The zips can either be closed together or you can use one zip and lock it at the end of the box. The loops are just big enough to feed through the lock that has been included with the toy, but if you wanted a lock that wasn't flexible and more solid, then you will need to measure the thickness to check if it fits inside the zips! The hardest part of this storage box is figuring out how to re-code the lock combination. There is no instructions on how to reset this, but after a quick google, it was very easy to do. Also, if you're like me and often forget your code, there is also an opportunity to re-code the combination, to a new code, so you'll always be able to open the box!

Quality

I really love the quality of this box - it feels very premium and luxurious, as well as expensive when it has a reasonable price tag! The feel of the box is smooth and high-end, as it is made of smooth, matt plastic. The zip is also thick and high quality, and doesn't feel like it is going to break or can be ripped open. The lock is a big tough to use at first, and as the lock is small and thin, it can be tricky to use. Getting the lock back in the lock hole felt slightly low quality at first, but it does work and works well. The netting inside the box is thick, as well as the zips being made of good quality. If i was being picky, it would be better if the elastic straps were thicker and tighter, in order to hold the toys more securely in the box, but they work just fine.

Price

I think at $30, this storage box is a reasonable price, especially considering the high quality and the fact it comes with a lock, as well as separate storage compartments. The overall quality is great, being lined with felt and feeling hard. I do think it could possible get dented, due to the plastic not being the thickest, but if you are good at looking after your stuff, it should be fine.

Performance

As far as storage boxes go, this is a great one. I have another lockable storage box, that is a lot bigger, so it was quite nice to have something so thin. I actually think it would be great for travelling, as it is slightly thicker than a laptop case. In terms of performance, I have no faults - the lock works, despite being a little stiff in the beginning, the zips are good quality, and the compartments inside are great. I would say it is well worth the investment.

Packaging

I love known a product hasn't been tampered with before it arrives in my hands, and this storage box fell into that category. It came plastic wrapped and with a cardboard sleeve, explaining what it was and what it did. As an environment lover, I am not always a fan of plastic wrapped things, even though I know it is mainly used for hygiene reasons. I would have preferred it t be wrapped in paper, as that still would have told me it hasn't been tampered with.

Materials and care

Make sure to keep it clean by wiping it with a damp cloth, and try and not dent it. I don't think it can easily be dented, but it is still a pretty flexible plastic.
