Design

Overall the PDX Roto-Sucker looks and feels good. It's not super luxurious but there are quality materials in use. I think it looks like it does exactly what it does and for that I am satisfied. The swiveling head is a great idea in theory but could use some R&D to perfect. The ribbed vibration pod inside is nicely placed to stimulate the frenulum and I like that you can use it in vibration mode or suction mode or both to truly customize your experience in the moment and all of the buttons are easy to reach. The biggest flaw I found aside from the difficulties presented with the swiveling head, is the location of the purge valve which is located just above the head and as a right handed user, can make things pretty messy as it purges excess fluids right where your hand is, making the toy slippery at times or just making a mess.

Ease of Use

On the surface it is very straight forward, and the 3 buttons are very easy to operate but I found the toy itself is elusive. The grip is comfortable and it is easy to use in a variety of positions and angles, however it can take some time getting the swiveling head to get into the best placement and then with a little shift or thrust or just with the pressure from the toy, you can easily lose that position which can be, at times, frustrating. On top of that I found the suction inconsistent and at times VERY strong, and one can hurt oneself as I did during one use if you are not careful - the release valve and the pull tabs do help with this but sometimes you can't tell its doing the damage it is doing, as in my case.

Quality

The PDX Roto-Sucker features good materials and feels quality. It is lightweight and feels sturdy enough, though I wouldn't expect it to survive repeated drops. It is a very loud toy especially in suction mode, if you are trying to be discreet it's best to double check that the house is empty. I use sound cancelling headphones when in use because the noise is so loud it's invasive and distracting. The one part that could really use improvement is the buttons. They feel a bit cheap to press and can be less than responsive at times and other times your thumb bumps them and it changes on you. Overall I think its a good start and I hope they continue to invest in future iterations to improve this product.

Price

For the current price point, I think it is a decent buy. It could be a little less and I would look to find it on sale if I were to buy it. All you get is the box and the toy itself, batteries not included (and you'll need plenty of them). I would like to see them continue to invest in upgrading this product as I think it is a great idea with some of the best vibrations I've seen. I think overtime they can really make something that is worth this price point and possibly more. (Like a rechargeable battery).

Performance

For the most part this product lived up to its expectations: it felt good, functioned as stated, vibrations were deep and suction strong. I will admit that the name Roto-Sucker lent itself to be interpreted as it would mechanically rotate as it sucked but, alas, it does not. The product is great for use on yourself or a partner but it is very loud, so not great if you are looking to be discreet. On top of that the battery life is not great, I've replaced the batteries 3 times over about 10 uses and they aren't cheap. Furthermore, the strong suction is nice but buyer beware, I did hurt myself during one use of the toy.

Packaging

Sleek but simple, I personally found it a little too bold and a little lacking. The packaging was just a cardboard box plastered with big images of the toy - not cutesy, not demure, with the toy loosely inside so you could easily shake it around. This led me to feel like the product could be damaged in transit, at least a little bubble wrap would be comforting, but alas, mine arrived fine. I was disappointed with the lack of instruction/guidance provided. Aside from a few brief bullet points on the box, there wasn't any included instructions of use or care guides.

Materials and care

The product is made from a high quality body-safe silicone and while it is very lightweight, it felt mostly quality. The swiveling headpiece feels nice to the touch and is a strong and waterproof. The toy itself is not submergible but you can clean it with a cloth and toy cleaner and you wash the headpiece in the sink with soap and water. I found it very easy to clean and care for but it can be hard to dry the inside of the head and hard to tell if it is dry without feeling around inside of it. It does not come with a storage bag/box, you could use the box it comes in but, again, it's not discreet whatsoever.

Special feature

This toy features a swiveling head to set it apart from other similar toys and generally I think it’s a great idea in theory. With a little development it could be a really great feature and, as mentioned previously, I hope they continue to develop this toy. My main issue with it is that, while it is great for finding the perfect position for the union of comfort and pleasure, it is just too easy to bump or shift the swiveling head and then you are left wanting and have to begin your search for that spot all over again – which I found more difficult than I would have wanted. At times this was fine and led to an exploration of different positions to use the toy and different sensations, but sometimes it was frustrating and unreliable.
