My Verdict
What really makes this product stand out from other gags is the lips on it, in my opinion they look really cool. And once on, it looks even more impressive, even a little freaky! If you're into looking a little bit sexually weird and/or messed up (think 'American Horror Story' vibes) then try taking a selfie with this gag on and your tongue sticking out! About The Scandal Silicone Stopper O-Ring Gag
This is a dark black silicone stopper O-ring gag. It is made entirely from silicone and based on an O-ring design to keep the mouth open. Additionally it features a mouth plug which can be put in or removed depending on what's on your play agenda! The silicone straps are adjustable from 19 - 24.5 inches and the O-ring measures 2 inches in diameter. When the plug is out it is more flexible and easy to breath. With the plug in place the gag becomes more rigid and non-breathable.

Personal Experience
First Impressions
I couldn’t wait to try this open mouth gag on the minute I got it out of the packaging and washed it. Besides the terrible chemical taste it was so fun to try on. I was looking at myself in the mirror and pulling all sorts of faces, from sexy to grotesque! I think there is a real fun element to this gag, coupled by a very sexy BDSM vibe. Let alone the slightly twisted looks you can give yourself with it, I felt a little bit like a character in a Tim Burton film or something.Putting it on
Here lay the not so fun part. As I will mention later, this was not an easy feat, nor was it a sexy process. Silicone has its pros, but pulling your hair/beard is not one of them. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good hair pulling, but in the right context. Trying to adjust the fastenings on seemed impossible, especially for those with long hair. It took quite a bit of putting it on and off and making adjustments until it felt right, and even then it wasn’t perfect. I think we’ll get there eventually, will just take some getting used to.Using the gag
We’re back to the fun and sexy part again, because it was great! I’m yet to be the receiver wearing this gag, though I’m very much looking forward to it, but in this instance it was my play partners turn. It’s fair to say that after an initial stumble, we both really loved the session. One thing to note, when it says the diameter of the O-ring is 2 inches do check that your penis will fit! I blindly went ahead assuming it would be fine, but it wasn’t. If your head or girth exceeds this measurement you will not be able to enter this O-ring gag when erect. We had to wait for me to, ahem- ‘calm down’ a little before we could proceed. Personally I think this gag looks great both on and off! It's good quality smooth feeling silicone, very flexible and doesn't seem cheap at all. I love the lips! Such a cool idea and as previously mentioned can really give this gag a dark edge.
Ease of Use
I would say this is where the gag falls short. It's not the most practical of gags, there is a learning curve for sure but I imagine it would become easier to use with practise. It is quite hard to tighten the straps when it's on as you have to wear the strap across the back/top of your head for it to remain in place. Trying to tighten the straps in place means the silicone pulls on your hair/skin and is a bit of a nightmare. Both my play partner and I each struggled. Once you have found the right fit for you it's a bit easier but still a little tricky, and getting it on definitely isn't sexy haha!
Quality
This product is very good quality. Entirely smooth silicone besides the metal fastenings. It looks and feels very professional. The only thing to note is the gag has quite an unpleasant factory taste and smell. Washing it didn't seem to help, my advice is (to still wash it) but then leave it to air out for at least 48 hours before first use.
Price
This is not an expensive gag, I would say it is around the middle of the market price wise. However, with the unique look of this gag, and the soft flexible nature of the silicone I'd say that puts this gag above the rest. With all of this in mind I think it's really good value for money. As previously stated it's not the most practical to put on/off but I still think its worth it for the price advertised.
Performance
The gag performs well, I really like the look of it. It did hurt to wear at times, so if that's your cup of tea then drink away! If you're not looking for the gag to be painful/uncomfortable don't worry, it just means the first few times you use it you'll need to fiddle about with the adjustments a little. It's also worth noting that it is more comfortable with the plug out. It's easier on the jaw, and breathing of course, depending what's in your mouth at the time. ;)
Packaging
The cardboard box packaging is pretty standard (I've seen worse). If anything I felt it made the product seem a little cheap as the imaging on the front is a bit 'generic sex toy', but I think that's just me being fussy. It does the job of protecting the gag just fine, albeit a little roomy in there.
Materials and care
Being completely silicone it's very easy to wash and keep clean which is great. It'll definitely get covered in bodily fluids so this is a real necessity! When it comes to storage you can keep it in the box or even store it in something smaller if you are strapped for space. My advice is to ensure you store this somewhere where it is not touching any other silicone toys. Long term storage of silicone products together can cause the material to degrade.
