Design

For a blow-up sex doll, she is one of the most realistic, pretty dolls I have seen! I love the way she has a hard plastic head, with a 3D nose and mouth, instead of just painting her features onto her face. Lovehoney really have tried to make her attractive, with the life-sized hands and feet. For me, the hair is the best physical feature about her - it is not a wig and is sewn into her head, which is great for grabbing or tying into a ponytail. The eyelashes are a nice touch too, again adding to the realism. It is a shame that Camilla doesn't come in different skin or hair colours, it would have been nice to have a choice. With regards to her physicality, her legs are naturally opened, which is great for easy access to her butt or vagina. Some blow-up dolls you have to open their legs, which isn't the most comfortable. I also think her ankles need more support - when she is stood up and not blown up enough, her ankles bend and she tends to fall over! Her breasts are my least favourite physical feature on her - they are so hard! They really stick out and despite the attempt to make them more appealing with the stick-on silicone nipples, it really didn't turn me on. Her small waist is pretty unrealistic, but it does make her easier to move around.

Ease of Use

When it comes to getting down and dirty with Camilla, she seems to be very self-explanatory and easy to use. She is very light and easy to move into different angles and positions, as well as her open legs giving easy access to the insertable sleeve. I have to comment - when it comes to inserting that insertable sleeve, it can be a bit of a faf, I must warn you to be gentle with it, as TPE has a reasonably short life-expectancy anyway. You don't want it to rip or tear! She would be very easy in missionary with you on top, as well as with her on top. Her legs cannot be bent, but you can use her from behind, due to her easily accessible butt.

Quality

I was pleasantly surprised by her quality when I opened to box - she is a made of thick PVC plastic, which doesn't seem easy to tear/rip. Her head, hands and feet are all made of thick, hard plastic that is heavy and 3D moulded, giving her ears, lips and a nose. Although small and short, she is somewhat life-sized, which is great for the realism of the doll. Her hair is made of fake hair, but it is soft and you are able to run your hands through it, as well as grab it and move her around with it. Be careful if you are to tie it up or brush it, as the hair does fall out! Her vagina is very natural and realistic looking, and is an accurate sizes. As well as the butthole, both ending of the sleeve is realistic looking. The internal side of the sleeve is textured, but not with the most intense bums and ridges, so if you are someone who is looking for an overwhelming sensation, then this sleeve is not for you. Also, as it is made of TPE, it will not last forever and there is a higher chance of tearing. But the TPE is more realistic feeling than a silicone sleeve for example, so I guess it is the best out of a bad pairing.

Price

This doll is pretty expensive for what it is... a blow-up person! Compared to some other blow-up dolls that are notoriously cheap and low quality, she is comes with many accessories and is of much higher quality. But with the vagina sleeve that doesn't fit well, and the hard breasts that are not realistic, Lovehoney are asking for a little too much, in my opinion. I would be happy paying this price if the sleeve looked more aesthetically pleasing in her hole, and if she could stand up on her own. The only reason I am somewhat happy paying this price is because of all the add ons that camilla comes with - the foot pump, the repair kit and the realistic details.

Performance

When using Camilla, she is good to use as a blow-up sex doll. She will do everything you are looking for - an insertable vagina or anus, that has internal texture and feels somewhat natural. She is easy to move around and change positions - either usable form the front or the back. She has hair that can be grabbed and has hands and feet that are life-sized. I would suggest using her in missionary or doggy, despite the fact her legs cannot be bent, you will still be able to thrust from behind. When using the vibrator though, you might not feel much. Despite it being reasonably buzzy when held in your hand, once inserted into the vagina/anus, the power gets lost in the TPE sleeve and throughout the blowup doll. I would highly recommend using a water-based lubricant, to make insertion easier and more comfortable. She is not going to feel as good as a TPE lower torso sex doll for example, but for a blow-up doll, she is one of the best I have see.

Packaging

When Camilla arrived in the post, it was a bit of a shock when her first impression was a giant head and feet in a box with a see-through window! Quite a jump scare! The box itself has a real model on the front, who I am guessing is supposed to be 'the real Camilla'. However, she looks very false and her breast is clearly photoshopped over her arm? Camilla is advertised as a 'personal trainer' of which would make sense, as the masturbation sleeve can certainly be used for stamina training. But on the back of the box, it says that this doll is only to be used for 'novelty purposes', which is very confusing and almost insulting to the customers that are seriously purchasing her for stamina training or as a masturbation toy. The box vs the Lovehoney website do not correlate, as on the Lovehoney website, they state that Shy Camilla comes with a storage bag, which she doesn't (I wish she did). Other than the outside packaging, the pump and repair kit was packaged well and securely, and everything came as I expected it to.

Materials and care

As Shy Camilla is made of PVC plastic, I would recommend wiping her down with a warm, wet cloth after use, but always making sure I was gentle, as I don't want her to get damaged. With regards to cleaning the removable sleeve, it is TPE, so it should be cleaned with mild soap and warm water. Use the powder that is provided in the box, to make sure the TPE is looked after and stays fresh. The box states that she mustn't be used in the shower or to get wet. If her hair needs washing, only wash the part that got dirty, along with making sure she dries well before using her again. With regards to care, use the adhesive provided to stick the PVC patches onto the broken plastic, and make sure it is fully sealed around the edges, so that no air can escape. As the bullet vibrator is attached to a cord, make sure the battery pack doesn't get wet, and only wash the vibrator itself, making sure not the fully submerge it in water.

Special feature

I would say there are 2 special features to this doll. The first, is the removable vagina/butthole insert, that can be taken out and used as a hand masturbator on its own, as well as an inserted penis toy, when inside her. The other, is that this toy comes with a portable bullet vibrator, that can be inserted into the vagina, to add vibrations, therefore making your session more stimulating.
