My Experience With Svakom Amy

First Impressions
The Svakom Amy is a high-quality g-spot vibrator, but I feel that it could be better. It arrives in a nice white box, and it felt sturdy and luxurious. I was disappointed, however, to see the plastic shrink wrap, which just wasn’t necessary. The instruction guide was actually more confusing, to the point that I wasn’t sure if it should be inserted. In the end, I looked at the Svakom website to fully understand the product.
Using the Vibrator
The Amy is fairly thin and not threatening to insert and explore with. It felt light but also like it wouldn’t break. It charged via USB with ease, I simply plugged it into my smartphone charger. The vibrator lights up so you know when it’s charging and when it has charged. The material feels soft and almost like human skin, you can tell it is made using high-quality materials. Then I started to try it out. The bottom takes longer to turn on than you would think. I pressed the up and down buttons yet noticed very little change in modes until it got very intense, and I found myself having to turn the light and look at the control to get a better bearing of it. The buttons are placed too far up the wand, making it difficult to turn on and off or change the mode. You could injure yourself fumbling around with buttons in the dark between your legs. As I have long acrylic nails, I was concerned about scratching myself. I am quite mobile and have long arms, so I imagine it must be really difficult to use if you have any type of mobility issues.
The Results
Design

The Svakom Amy is petite with a slim shaft and a wider head. The shaft has a gentle curve to it, ideal for locating the g-spot. The shape is nice and the size perfect for me, but may be too small for other people. If you're looking for a wide toy to insert, it might be a little disappointing. It looks nice, is available in pretty colours, and is made from a soft silicone. It feels soft and velvety to the touch, not unlike real skin.
Ease of Use

The instruction manual for the Amy isn't very useful, so you will need to experiment and play around with functions by yourself. Towards the lower part of the toy are the controls: which are just three buttons. Holding down the middle button (with the S on it) for a few seconds turns the toy on. This can be bit tricky. It was also tricky for me to reach the controls because they were located too high up the wand for my liking.
Quality

The Svakom Amy feels luxurious, helped by the classy packaging it arrives in. The Amy is made from body-safe silicone that is soft to the touch and easy to clean. It feels like a premium product to hold, with the unique shape and many different vibration models.
Price

The Amy's price is a little bit more expensive than others on the market. However, you can really feel the quality in the packaging, the pouch and the materials. The fact it's rechargeable instead of battery-operated will make it a good investment in the long run. The Svakom Amy feels sturdy and light, which makes it ideal for traveling and hiding away safely.
Performance

The first vibration mode was too slow for me, and didn't feel stimulating enough. I started from a constant speed at a medium intensity (level 3). You can then use the up and down arrow buttons to alter the intensity of the vibrations, which can be tricky when you're already having fun with your toy. There are 5 levels in total: the first 3 vibration modes are rumbly, and the highest two are harsher and too buzzy for me. The lowest level is so weak you can barely feel it, but the highest is very quick and overwhelming. This is good for beginners but it may be frustrating to those with more experience with vibrators.
Packaging

The Svakom Amy arrives in a luxurious-looking white box that is easy to open. The vibrator was well packaged with the charger and instructions safely nestled under the cardboard packaging. The box came inside a cardboard sleeve but the box itself was unfortunately shrink-wrapped with plastic — there could surely be more sustainable solutions that would give the same result. The box is pretty sturdy so could be used for long term storage, though this vibrator also comes with a soft grey storage pouch for travel, or just general use if you’d like it to stay safe in your toy draw. This drawstring bag is easy to open and close. It feels soft to the touch and is big enough to store the charger.
Materials and care

The Svakom Amy is made of a lovely silicone that feels really nice to the touch. You can get in it black, white or purple or pastel pink. This rechargeable vibrator is made from body-safe silicone material that is fully submergible and 100% waterproof. It smells a little when it arrives but once washed, the rubber-like scent disappears. It's easy to clean and comes with a little pouch to stop dust from sticking to it in the draw.
