WaterSlyde Review
My Verdict
This is a very unique tool to have for a hands-free, self pleasure experience in the bathtub but it's definitely not something I would use everyday or even weekly. If you have a detachable shower head that you use regularly for masturbation, I personally would stick with that and save my $35. However, if you don't, or would prefer a more directed stream of water, then the WaterSlyde could be worth the investment!

Personal Experience
First Impressions
My experience with this toy brought so much nostalgia and remembrance of the exploratory beginnings of self pleasure. Most women that I have talked to throughout the years have all had the same answer of how their masturbation journey started… with their bathtub faucet. I can remember trying to be a contortionist and maneuver my body in a way so my vulva sits right under that short, stubby bathtub faucet; with my legs in the air and body scrunched, all to get that wonderful feeling of the water hitting the right spot. Since I am no longer a tween and now a plus-sized woman, it is a lot harder to contortion my body in that way. Due to that, I have not experienced that water sensation in quite some time. The WaterSlyde helped me experience that missed bathtub time when I was younger without the “bathtub yoga”…. somewhat. My Experience
Something to account for is how your faucet is shaped and what the handle that controls the water temps and pressure looks like. I have the generic short, stubby faucet that most houses do and the WaterSlyde was perfect for that. The ribbon that is attached to the WaterSlyde tied around my bathtub faucet perfectly with no difficulty. The downside was my handle that controls the temperature of the water. It is just one handle that you pull upwards for hot water and downwards cold water with the pressure increasing the further you pull the handle up. If I wanted warm water, the water pressure coming out of the faucet was so extreme that the water was spilling over the edge of the WaterSlyde and the pressure was too much for my clitoris. If I wanted less pressure, I had to deal with cold water which wasn’t ideal to have filling up my bathtub and hitting my vulva.Take Two
I tried the WaterSlyde in a different bathtub where there were two separate handles, one for hot water and one for cold water which made the experience immensely better. I was able to control the temperature of the water and the pressure so the water coming from the WaterSlyde was perfect. It is definitely more a bathtub faucet/handle problem but I do wish the WaterSlyde was a little more compatible with different versions of bathtubs faucets. Honestly, with the problems I faced, I’d much rather just use a detachable shower head to achieve that same pleasure. Although I’d have to hold the shower head where I want it, it seems much easier than having to maneuver my body and try to get it in the correct position for the Waterslyde to actually feel pleasurable. It was too much work for an orgasm when I could have had a better experience with a detachable shower head if I had one.In Conclusion… It’s Okay.
While it was a fun, nostalgic experience, this is not a tool I would use to masturbate often. It was still a tad difficult to maneuver my body to get the stream of water to hit the right spot needed to achieve the big “O”. If I wanted a nice relaxing, self-care bath with a side of orgasms, I might break out the WaterSlyde once every few months but it isn’t something I’d use everyday for self pleasure. If you don’t have a detachable shower head but miss the water feeling cascading over your vulva, then this might be for you!Design
The design of the WaterSlyde is great... for certain faucets. My faucet is the generic short, stubby faucet that is seen in almost every standard home. The WaterSlyde works great with that type! The black ribbon that is threaded through the WaterSlyde ties securely around my faucet and makes for an easy use. If you have a more decorative style faucet that is thin and in an upside down "U" shape, the WaterSlyde is not compatible with that as it will not stay in place with the black ribbon. Other than being able to attach to different style faucets, the WaterSlyde design is very unique and seems to be made of sturdy material.
Ease of Use
The WaterSlyde is very easy to use and is probably one of the easiest "sex toys" to use on the market, honestly. The most "work" you will do to operate this toy is attaching it to your faucet with the black ribbon that is included. Once the WaterSlyde is attached to the faucet, it's just the point of maneuvering your body to where you would like the guided stream of water to be placed on your vulva. If you are a plus-sized person like me, you might find it a tad difficult to sit comfortably if you have a smaller tub but, in a larger bathtub, there was no difficulty at all.
Quality
The quality of the WaterSlyde seems great so far and I haven't had any issues with its sturdiness. This water diverter seems very sturdy, reliable and made of a strong material. I accidentally dropped the WaterSlyde on my hardwood floors and it didn't even chip or scratch. I imagine after the ribbon getting wet from the bath water and getting tied over and over again, it will wear and tear and not hold up as long as the actual WaterSlyde device will. Fortunately, there is also a strip of Velcro included that can do the job.
Price
I do think the WaterSlyde is a little steep in price for what it does. It is essentially just a water diverter and has no special qualities to it. You can essentially get the same exact feeling with a detached shower head but, we'll discuss that later. In my package, I also received a cute Lovability hair towel for free which was nice and unexpected. If you are a fan of using the shower head to masturbate, this might be a nice change to get the same feel but hands-free.
Performance
There wasn't much to rate the performance on for the WaterSlyde but for what it claims to do, it does its job. The WaterSlyde is claimed to be a water diverter that can help aid in water masturbation and it does just that. It was nice not having to do "bathtub yoga" as they say, to get into the right position under the faucet for that pleasurable water feeling. Although, I still experienced some difficulties.
Packaging
The packaging for the WaterSlyde is uniquely designed and eye-catching. It was nothing short of lavish and you can tell a lot of thought was put into the making of this packaging and the materials inside. The design of the box is very elegant and not super cheesy or over the top like some boxes that sex toys come in. Included in the packaging was a nice thank you note from the WaterSlyde inventor, a 10% off code for my next order and instructions on how to use the WaterSlyde.
Materials and care
The material that the WaterSlyde is made of is high-impact, medical grade polystyrene, which is very high quality. This material is typically seen being used in the medical field and food service products so it is body-safe material. Since the WaterSlyde is just a water diverter and does not physically touch you in order for you to receive pleasure, it does not necessarily need to be cleaned after every use like a normal toy. If you do need to clean the WaterSlyde, just simple soap and water will do the trick.
