Design

These clamps were an Art Deco fashion statement. The velvety silicone exuded opulence, bathed in an alluring shade of turquoise. Silver-tinted ABS plastic dripped from the bottom, streaming towards the diamond-shaped power button. Petal-like details sprouted from the base and embraced each side of the clamps. To top it all off, Zalo's embossed logo crowned the diamond centerpiece. I'd wear them as clip-on earrings, if they weren't so heavy... Yes, I tried.

Ease of Use

The mechanics of these clamps worked as simply as a clothespin, and they required similar force to attach. This may prove problematic for those with grip limitations. Attaching the clamps may, also, be difficult for those with flat or inverted nipples. That said, operating the vibration features was as simple as it gets! The manual, remote, and Zalo Remote Pro App all functioned easily. The buttons all required very little pressure and audibly *clicked* upon depression. The App had a simple user-interface, although I did fail to connect a different Zalo toy.

Quality

Though beautiful, there were some quality concerns with this product. There was a chemical odor upon arrival, which dissipated after a couple of cleanses. Unfortunately, one of the silicone attachments split the very first time I slid it onto the vibrator. Additionally, the physical remote stopped working after a couple of uses. This doesn't bode well for longevity. As for functional quality, the motors produced average power and became heated after only 15+ minutes of use. On a positive note, they were quiet. The lowest setting sounded as loud as a carpenter bee, while the loudest was still more silent than the average electric toothbrush.

Price

Zalo Nave retails for $79 on the official Zalo Website. The package arrives with 2 nipple clamps, 4 silicone attachments, a remote control, USB charging cable, satin storage pouch, 12V battery, an instructions manual, and a 1-year warranty card. Not to mention, this product is compatible with the Zalo Remote Pro App. While vibrating nipple clamps cost anywhere from $19 to $130, these are the most beautiful ones I've ever seen. For those who love a little buzz, I think the Zalo Nave would be worth considering!

Performance

These clamps should take 2 hours to charge, providing 1 hour of play. Testing, however, revealed that they took an average of 1 hour and 15 minutes to charge. While I was pleased with the faster charging time, the decreased run time wasn't as exciting. On the lowest setting, the battery died after 47 minutes. The highest setting only ran for 26 minutes. Additionally, one nipple clamp charged faster and depleted power 6-11 minutes sooner than the other clamp. That said, the magnetic USB charger was strong enough to lock each clamp in place and charge them in a dangling position. This really impressed me.

Packaging

The packaging echoed similar Art Deco elements as the Zalo Nave. Gilded pinstriping contrasted the obsidian canvas. Two pillars and geometric patterns framed a plastic window, showcasing the product. The reverse featured a symmetrical painting, reflected across a lotus motif. Foliage peaked through tangled branches and encircled the focal point. Two Egyptian felines faced one another, each bearing an ancient Usekh. It was bold, primal, and empowering_ just the energy needed to ignite a sensual flame. I only wish that the cardboard had a protective finish, so that it wouldn't scuff so easily.

Materials and care

Zalo Nave is made from Dow Corning food-level silicone and BPA plastic. Both materials are body-safe and free from latex, lead, and phthalates. They shouldn't come into contact with silicone lubricant. Since they're splash-resistant (not waterproof), never submerge in water. It's best to wipe them clean using a sex toy wipe. Wait until the surface is completely dry before storing in the satin pouch. Protect from extreme temperatures. Never boil or sterilize motorized toys in a dishwasher.

The Zalo Remote Pro App breaks barriers and expands the horizons of sexual exploration. Choose from an array of interactive features for solo or long-distance play. Buzz to your favorite beats with Musical Mode, or dance to your delight using Shake-it Mode; this will sync vibrations to your phone’s gyrations. The app is compatible with IOS and Android operating systems. It was simple to connect, had a beginner-friendly user interface, and added much interest to the experience!
