Personal Experience

When I heard about the Cowgirl Cone, I was curious to try such a powerful sex machine! Even though I’m not the biggest fan of riding for solo play, I was pleased to discover that the Cone’s vibrations were very strong. As someone with a vulva, I enjoyed the vibrating saddle for foreplay and teasing the entire external area. I found that the bulb of the saddle was also good for riding, particularly teasing the vaginal opening and light penetration, which I loved.

Dildo Disappointment

Design

The Cowgirl Cone has a luxurious look and feel. The base of the cone is large with a very strong suction cup to stick it to the floor or other surface. It has buttons on it for navigating through the various vibration speeds and patterns (20 vibration patterns and 10 intensities). The Saddle Attachment has ridges for extra genital stimulation, and The Alamo Attachment (the dildo) is designed to imitate a realistic penis that's on the smaller side. Personally, I didn't love the dildo, but the design of the rest of the machine was effective and unique!

Ease of Use

The Cowgirl Cone is a great toy because it comes with many options for use. You could control the toy's vibrations by using the buttons on the base of the cone, the battery-controlled remote, or the user-friendly phone app. The cone's base also has a very powerful suction which makes it easier to use for folks who can't maneuver holding down the base of a toy while riding. Attaching The Saddle and Alamo, however, may be a little more difficult for folks who don't have finger dexterity, as you have to slip the edge of the attachments onto the cone base.

Quality

The Cowgirl Cone feels expensive. The material and feel of the cone base and the attachments are substantial, sturdy, and high-quality. The cone, when in use, is on the louder side, but that is to be expected for a powerful sex machine.

Price

Personally, I don't think the Cowgirl Cone is worth its price tag of ~$300+. That's mainly because I'm not interested in spending that much for a sex machine that doesn't do the work for me! I'd rather save it for a machine that vibrates and penetrates. However, if you're a big fan of riding toys, or are looking for a toy that you can use to put on shows, this is a great buy, as the Cone packs a major punch.

Performance

The Cowgirl Cone lives up to its promise of providing a strong, rumbly vibration. The cone's suction is the strongest I've ever seen, and the remote control and phone app make this toy even more fun to use.

Packaging

One downside of this toy is its size, which is understandable considering it is a high quality and powerful sex machine. This said, the packaging is also pretty substantial. The Cowgirl Cone comes in a large box (which was shipped discreetly) that has a bit of a stereotypical, cis-heteronormative design on it featuring a slim, straight couple having sex. Personally, I didn't appreciate as it isn’t queer and body-inclusive, but when you look at the website, it's a much different story — I wish they could have extended that to their packaging too! My only other critique is that I wished the packaging had come with a handle. Since I can imagine folks traveling with the Cowgirl Cone, it would nice if it was easier to transport.

Materials and care

The Cowgirl Cone is made from body-safe, phthalate-free, non-porous silicone and ABS plastic. The cone and its two attachments are waterproof (IPX7 waterproof, meaning it is technically able to be submerged for up to 30 minutes) which is great both for cleaning and for squirters! You can easily wash this toy with warm water and mild, unscented soap or a sex toy cleaner. It does not come with a storage bag, but you can use its original packaging box for continued storage. The cone is also rechargeable and comes with a USB charging cable.
