Personal Experience
I’ll be honest, my wife and I aren’t into a lot of pain when it comes to our foreplay. However, we were curious to give this Fifty Shades Darker Adrenaline Spikes pinwheel a try because the idea of varying from a soft tickling sensation to something a little sharper was interesting. We tested it out on our back first and immediately took it to a tougher spot like a foot. The spikes were much more abrupt than we expected. The product does feel pretty premium compared to other sex toys but the slight tickling sensation was minor and when it became sharper it was just too much for our experience. Having said that I would not discount it for those who do appreciate some pain sensations.

The grooved handle was slender but felt comfortable to wield for delicate finesse and the polished metal gave it a nice medical feel. My only critique is the wheel wobbled a little and squeaked while rolling, but it didn’t take away from the appeal.

It worked well for the intended purpose and it felt sharp enough but not so much that we were afraid of puncturing skin. I think the wheel could use a plastic washer to stop it from squeaking and wobbling. The bag it comes with does little for storage because the spikes poke out of it immediately.
Packaging
The packaging design was classy and what you would expect for the price point. It was clear what the Fifty Shades pinwheel was and what it was made from. It definitely appeals to people familiar with the Fifty Shades of Grey series, but is reserved in appearance and would not be as bright as other designs. The package has a sophisticated look like the metallic print to match the product itself and rich blue colors to compliment.
Materials and care
The Fifty Shades Darker Adrenaline Spikes Pinwheel is made from high quality polished metal which was a nice feel and made it easy to clean and polish with a simple rag or a microfiber cloth you would use for your glasses. The silk storage bag is thin and does not keep the spikes from poking through, so I would recommend a thicker fabric or leather to hold the almost .23” spikes in.
