Iroha Lucky Bag Review

Personal Experience

I was so excited to open the very pretty Lucky Bag from Iroha. I’ve tried a few toys from them before, like the Kushi, and loved how gorgeously squishy they felt, along with how much attention they pay to design and details. This gift set is no exception. Based on the Japanese tradition of Fukubukuro, a lucky bag gifted for the New Year, this set includes the Sakura, a palm-sized clitoral vibrator in the shape of a cherry blossom petal, the Minamo, a wavy g-spot vibrator, a random Iroha Petit (I received the Lily), a water-based agar jelly grinder, and a storage bag.

Perfect for Gifting

Design

Iroha always knocks it out of the park when it comes to design. Both the Minamo and the Sakura are simple but so pretty, with pastel colors that really speak to me. How they get that amount of squish into their silicone is beyond me, but it's so much more than any other sex toy maker.

Ease of Use

The Minamo and the Sakura are both very easy to use. The controls are very simple, though the since the buttons aren't labelled, you might have to familiarize yourself with them before you start playing. The Minamo has two buttons to go up and down the settings, while the Sakura has just one button that you use to cycle through the different modes. The squishy exteriors of both toys mean you don't really have to do any warm-up beforehand, and the same goes with the Iroha Petit.

Quality

Everything in the Lucky Bag feels like a good quality product. The toys are sturdy and well-constructed, even if the vibrations aren't the rumbliest or strongest that I've experienced. Even the bag is double-lined and super soft!

Price

$140 certainly isn't cheap for most of us, but since this kit is valued at $217, I do think that it's a good deal. While I feel that the Iroha Petit is definitely the weakest part of this set, buying just the Minamo and the Sakura separately would be more expensive than the Lucky Bag. So, if you feel that you or a loved one would enjoy this grown-up gift, I recommend it!

Performance

It's great that the vibrations in both toys are so quiet, but I do wish that they were stronger and less buzzy, especially in the Sakura. However, I can forgive it more in a g-spot toy like the Minamo. The squishiness does make up for some of my vibration disappointment — it's unlike anything I've seen from any other vibrator brand, and I love it.

Packaging

The Lucky Bag packaging is so cute! It's based on the Japanese New Year tradition of Fukubukuro, and is wrapped up in a traditionally-tied bag, filled with treats! I think it looks like a fantastic gift, without looking like every other sex toy gift set out there.

Materials and care

Both the Minamo and the Sakura are made from super soft, non-porous, body-safe silicone and are fully waterproof. That makes them super easy to clean, as you can simply wash them with warm water and a mild soap. You can use the accompanying storage bag to store the Sakura, while the Minamo comes with its own charging case. The Petit is also made from body-safe materials (I've listed the ingredients in the table below), but is a single-use product.
