Design

The Jopen Amour is a remote-controlled insertable bullet vibrator, it arrives in a luxe box that opens like an envelope, a precious promise of what’s to come. Both the heart-shaped remote, and bullet are wrapped in a luxurious pink, satin-finish silicone, the shell is textured and even has an easy retrieval cord of the same continuous silicone. The metallic rose gold accents make for an ultra-feminine aesthetic, but don’t let the cutesy girly look cause you to underestimate it, she came to play! Fully waterproof, rechargeable, with 7 functions, and 5 speeds of vibration, only limited by your creativity and the manufacturer’s 1-year warranty!

Ease of Use

I LOVE the fact that this bullet comes with a remote! It removes all the frustration I felt with my last review of the INYA Rose, the single-button operation on the device gets complicated once lube enters the chat. So adjusting speed or function with the palm-sized remote bypasses all the accidental mode switches, power-offs, and vibration intensity shifts making it a blissful afterthought. The USB charging cord has dual charging so the remote, and the bullet can charge together, a thoughtful inclusion adding to the charm and leaving me feeling pampered.

Quality

Here, I will express just the slightest disappointment that there aren’t at least two more vibration intensities to increase too, I may be a power queen, but I still found myself reaching for the remote, futilely pressing the + button only to abandon hope and call in the cavalry, in the form of my Magic Wand, to finish the job when used clitorally. Charming details are added everywhere on the box, as the giant “wax” seal on the front of the box invites you to pop it and peek inside, and when you do you are greeted by the beautifully-designed remote and bullet on display.

Price

Sporting price tag of around $80, the Amour bullet is the only one in the Amour collection featuring remote control capabilities. Personally, this is not an item I would typically purchase for myself, but would be delighted to receive it as a gift, perfect to include in my Valentine’s day celebration. For the price tag, I found myself wanting just a little more weightiness to the bullet, but, again, this could be personal preferences.

Performance

Giving you a complete charge in two hours, the included charging cable connects to both the remote and the bullet allowing you to charge them at the same time. It has a shorter life than my other silicone bullets, but they lack the high-end remote-control feature. Running only for 50 minutes on low speed and 40 on high, the Jopen Amour bullet still packs a punch with its waterproof feature. Holding down the easy push button for 3 seconds brings this bullet to life, once on you can use the remote to change through the 7 functions of vibration, pulsation, and escalation, each with 5 independent speeds.

Packaging

When I opened the shipping box I immediately giggled and held it up for my partner’s inspection, to say I was delighted is an understatement. I started staging it for photos before I even broke the seal. The bold pink packaging features an envelope with a large “wax” seal featuring underneath an image of the remote and bullet, on the back is a larger image with a breakdown of the included features. After I was satisfied with my photo shoot, I broke the safety seal and lifted the lid to find the remote and bullet thoughtfully displayed. While this packaging is not conventionally reusable, I have found it useful to store everything together ensuring the items aren’t separated from one another.

Materials and care

The Jopen Amour comes with two pieces the heart-shaped remote and the satiny bullet with a textured pattern and easy retrieval cord. The body-safe silicone is unscented and phthalate-free, so clean-up is quick and easy with a mild detergent and soft cloth. The remote is covered with the same silicone allowing you to wipe it down with a damp cloth. I would advise you to be particularly of the grooves where the silicone meets the metal accents as this could be an area that harbors bacteria if overlooked. I would also recommend that you designate it as strictly for vaginal use as it does not have a flared base.
