Personal Experience

As always, Lovehoney packaging is your first introduction and impression of what lies inside. The outer packaging is always discreet and well packaged for maximum protection. The toy’s box itself is sleek and vibrant. It doesn’t need graphic images to convey anything about its usability or durability. The packaging for the toy even comes with instructions of use and where to find more information. This was my first time using or owning a glass toy and it certainly is beautiful. It does come with its own drawstring bag for carrying and storing, but considering that it’s glass, I would recommend something a little more durable if you are going to travel with it. I highly recommend using lube with this toy, especially if you are a beginner.

Design

For a beginner glass toy, the Lovehoney Spiral glass dildo is sleek and easy to use. It looks as good as it feels. There is a beautiful glass spiral, that presses all the right buttons and moves smoothly. Despite its low price point it looks extremely luxurious and high quality. I personally like the curve and the flared base as it makes it more than a one use item. The glass also feels very sturdy but not uncomfortably heavy, which was a concern.

Ease of Use

So easy to use, it's not super heavy and as someone with mobility issues I deeply appreciate it. I appreciate that its not too heavy that it could put pressure on my wrist or shoulder to use it, but also not too light where it would easily slip out of my grasp. I appreciate the simplicity of it, there's no charging or buttons or apps to deal with, so it can be used whenever.

Quality

While I haven't had the opportunity to work with other glass toys, the Lovehoney Spiral g-spot glass dildo gives off high quality just by looking at it. The design is beautiful and is remarkably sturdy. I have mobility issues and accidentally dropped it onto wood flooring, it did not crack or break or chip (which I'm grateful for). The flared base is just big enough to grip onto but not so much that it was uncomfortable.

Price

I think for a beginner or a beginner to glass toys, Lovehoney has the price point perfect. It still speaks to the quality and durability of the toy, without feeling like you bought something cheap and it won't last. I do appreciate that it came with a storage bag but I wish it was more durable than just cloth, as I'm not sure it would survive travel in just that as protection.

Performance

I did not read other reviews or comments about this product so I could find my own views and feelings. The only research I did ahead of time was how to use glass toys with heat or ice, as that was one of my main reasons for wanting to try this. It's very different from anything else I own and it intrigued me. Highly recommend a good quality lubricant before using the toy.

Packaging

The design of the Lovehoney Spiral Glass dildo is very simplistic but appealing to look at. The outside also includes use and care information which I appreciate. It's not in some tiny pamphlet stuck inside the box that's hard to read or gets lost. I appreciate that there's nothing graphic on the outside of the box or too overboard because even as an adult simple is easier especially when throwing out the box later.

Materials and care

Since it is made of glass, it is latex-free. It's so easy to clean with some basic toy cleaner. The product is waterproof making it safe to use underwater too. Like previously mentioned, it does come with a storage bag, but it still might be prone to dust, so I recommend cleaning it before use as well. It's also made from toughened borosilicate glass, so it's extremely durable and stronger than normal glass products.
