My Verdict
I'm always banging on about how I want there to be better, body-safe sex toy options for people on a budget. It should not cost hundreds of dollars to get a safe and quality toy! Thankfully, Lovehoney seem to be on board with that idea, because the Lifelike Lover silicone dildos are incredible quality and budget-friendly. This is one of the few dildos in my collection that I use regularly and I'm really happy to recommend it to anyone looking for something realistic and body-safe with a decent amount of length and girth. Top marks all around.

About The Lovehoney Lifelike Lover Luxe
Lifelife Lover is a range of realistic dildos from Lovehoney that come in a variety of sizes, materials, and colours. I received the 8 inch silicone dildo to test. Colors seem to come and go from this range - I received the toy in purple, but at the time of writing it is now only available in black or "flesh" (pale peach/pink.) This dildo is 8″ long from base to tip, with an insertable length of 7" and a diameter of 1.6" at the widest point. It has realistic veins and a pronounced head resembling a circumcised bio penis. It also has realistic, textured balls leading to a suction cup base.

My Experience With Lovehoney Lifelike Lover Luxe
When I first received and tried this dildo, I was genuinely blown away by the quality compared to the price. I’ve had it for close to four years at this point and I still reach for it time and again. I love pretty much everything about it. I love how much it reminds me of the real thing, I love the intense pressure from the large head on my G-spot, I love the thick, dense, just-the-tiniest-bit-squishy silicone. It’s genuinely fabulous and I can’t believe it’s less than $40.
How I Use It
My favorite way to use this dildo is coupled with a clitoral vibrator for dual stimulation. I either insert the toy and then wiggle it with one hand while using a clit vibe with my other hand, or (even better) ask a partner to use the dildo on me while I use a clitoral vibrator on myself. Though I can occasionally orgasm from G-spot stimulation alone, in practice I rarely masturbate that way and much prefer to use dildos in conjunction with clitoral toys. Though I rarely use dildos hands-free and therefore have little use for the suction cup in and of itself, I find that the cup and balls make a useful sort of “handle”. I’ve used this dildo for strap-on play a few times. It’s got a lot to recommend it – it’s firm enough that I can get a good thrust that’s hard enough to please my partner, it sticks out at just above a 90 degree angle (similar to a typical bio penis when erect), and the large base means it stays firmly in the harness. Honestly, the only slight downside is that it’s quite heavy. This isn’t really a problem as such, but it does mean that strap-on sex is a little more physically strenuous after a while!Design
This is an excellently designed toy. Its shape and size are perfect in my opinion - big enough but not too massive. And the detailing really does make it look, well, lifelike. The Lifelike Lover Luxe is the most realistic dildo I've tried at anything close to this price point. It's also nice and flexible, which is ideal for G-spot or P-spot targeted stimulation. I do wish they'd kept the purple version and other bright colorways, though!
Ease of Use
This dildo really couldn't be easier to use. Just lube up and go! Thanks to the wide base, it's equally easy to use with your favorite strap-on harness. The suction cup is impressively strong and stays put on a range of surfaces - walls, desks, doors, bathroom tiles, windows...
Quality
The Lifelike Lover Luxe is beautifully made for the price. Mine has been used countless times at this point and it's still in absolutely pristine condition. As long as you keep it clean and use the correct lubes with it, I don't see any reason that this product shouldn't last you a lifetime.

The Lifelike Lover Luxe 8 inch costs just $39.99. For a high quality, suction cup enabled and harness compatible dildo in a body-safe material, this is astonishingly good value. No need for those on a budget to buy horrible unsafe materials that will just break down and possibly harm your body when options like this are available!
Performance
This is one of my absolute favorite dildos in my entire collection (which is extensive.) I reach for it all the time when I'm looking for a good all-rounder. It looks and feels pleasingly lifelike, and it's just the right level of firm versus flexible. The bulbous head also offers absolutely dreamy G-spot stimulation.
Packaging
My Lifelike Lover arrived in cardboard packaging with Lovehoney branding. It's plain and basic, but functional, and being cardboard means you can recycle pretty much all of it.
Materials and care
t’s important to note that some of the products in the Lifelike Lover are made of PVC, which is a porous and potentially toxic toy material. Therefore, double check before buying to ensure you are getting the silicone version. Pure silicone toys, like this one, are body-safe, hypoallergenic and non-porous. The silicone is soft and pliable enough to feel gorgeous, but firm enough to get a decent thrust with it. It's very matte and can be a little "grabby", so use plenty of lube. Clean your toy with warm water and gentle soap, or boil it in a pan on the stove for 10 minutes to sterilize it.
Special feature
This toy’s special feature is the attention to detail in the design. Not only is it realistically shaped, with a curved shaft and a head and even a meatus (the urethral opening), it’s also realistically textured, with veins along the shaft and skin-like texturing to the balls.
