Nu Sensuelle 60SX AMP Bullet Vibrator Review
My Verdict
The 60SX AMP Bullet Vibrator delivers on its promise of powerful vibrations, offering 12 settings that may suit users who require intense stimulation. Made from body-safe silicone and ABS plastic, it’s easy to clean and recharge and comes with a storage bag and straightforward controls. However, the design leaves much to be desired. The gap between materials raises hygiene concerns, while the toy’s basic aesthetic, bulky build and buzzy vibrations make it feel dated and uncomfortable for sustained use. It also overheats quickly—a safety red flag—and the packaging feels cheap, lacking the polish expected at its $89.99 price point. While this vibrator might work for someone seeking broad, strong vibrations, its loudness, short battery life, and questionable durability make it hard to justify the cost. If it were priced below $40, it might be worth a try, but as it stands, there are better options for luxury and performance in the same price range.

Personal Experience
Wow. That’s all I can say. I’m not a fan of this vibrator, starting from the website’s aesthetic (bare and clumsy), packaging (dated and cheap), or product itself. Each touchpoint feels lackluster, and I’m not confident in the longevity of anything associated with Nu Sensuelle. Harsh, I know. But, brands must understand how they’re perceived if they wish to improve in the future. As an independent studio, I hope they take my advice and reevaluate their (overall) designs.
Looking at the Design
The bullet is very basic (design-wise), but I’m alarmed by how quickly it overheated. I can understand why it would overheat (and be so loud); it’s a vibrator that can fit in the palm of my hand and offers 12 very intense speeds. But at that point, it calls into question whether using it for more than 5 minutes is safe. If the toy is secure and, in fact, not overheating, I would have felt better if the website claimed the flaw a feature with a cheeky note that it has an automatic built-in heating feature. I also have to note that the design has a portion of gapping between the silicone and plastic near the top (where the controls are) that could lead to potential water damage. That makes a doubt the claims of being totally water submersible. There is a very real possibility that my toy is defective. Still, I am apathetic towards the idea because of my initial impression. I probably wouldn’t bother with the two-year warranty. In Use
I’m surprised my clitoris wasn’t blown off. I’m not kidding. This toy is strong. This isn’t necessarily for me, who gets nauseated with overly buzzy vibrations. I thought it would be more rumbly by the way the product description sounded online, but that’s not the case at all. Perhaps it felt more buzzy because I had to use the toy lightly on the lower settings, but I was not impressed with its performance. I only started to enjoy it (after experimenting for a while) when it began overheating. But nothing is sexy when you’re concerned for your safety, so… I can’t recommend this toy. Unless you, the reader, genuinely need something teeth-shatteringly powerful (ASAP), I suggest looking at other products (and brands) in this price range.Design
Design-wise, the vibrator is very basic. It's made of smooth, yet not soft, silicone, and it's a good hand weight. It's wide and suitable for general strokes instead of pinpointing places of direct vibrations. For me, the physical design could be more impressive. The vibrator doesn't feel like it's trying to do anything new (or exceptionally well if I'm honest). Another thing to note is that it's made of body-safe silicone and ABS plastic, which is excellent. However, where the two materials meet (near the raised buttons) leaves a small gap where water could get trapped and create water damage or mold. This makes me concerned for the longevity of the product. But not that concerned, considering I won't be using this product regularly. It just hurts! I can't turn it on over a vibration setting 3, and I have to use a very light touch, so my dominant hand is focused on controlling the vibrator instead of anything else! This design doesn't work for me. It might benefit someone who requires very powerful vibrations to get off, but I'm sure there are better options at this price point.
Ease of Use
The bullet vibrator is relatively easy to use. It doesn't have a remote control or an app, so everything is done at the base of the toy, where 2 arrows are located. To turn the vibrator on, one of the arrows must be pressed down for 2 seconds, and it glows a soft white if the toy is on (this light cannot be turned off). Different speeds can be explored by using the up and down arrows. The speeds don't cycle, so if one wants to drop down from speed 5 to speed 1, they would need to press the down triangle 4 times (there are no labels on the toy to indicate which triangles move the speed up or down, so it's up to the user to test when in use). The triangles are slightly raised, so changing the speeds while in the dark is easy. This toy is on the somewhat bulkier side (broad area of vibration), so it might be great for someone who has issues gripping toys, but other than that, it's the type of type not made for internal use, so it needs to be held constantly, which, with the powerful vibrations, hurt my arm. A light touch is required with this product, so it might play better with a partner (using it on them or they on you).
Quality
The vibrator's quality is questionable. It doesn't feel cheap, per se, but it misses every mark when I review a toy's quality. It's made of body-safe plastic and ABS plastic, but there is a small gap in the toy's design that could easily allow water to get trapped—leading to water damage and (eventually) mold. While testing the bullet vibrator, I also noticed that the toy overheats fast. I already feel uneasy with electronic toys, so I was alarmed when I realized (with only a few minutes of play) that it was getting pleasantly hot—a feature not listed on the toy's functions. As much as I love it when a toy has a heating feature, I don't need to start a fire in my bed because of a questionable vibrator. If the exploding toy didn't take me out, the embarrassment would! Anyways, the toy is also loud, but that's something I kinda expect with such a strong, yet powerful, product. I'm not sold on the safety of this product, but I'm still going to keep it in my collection of toys (wearily).
Price
In my opinion, this vibrator is not worth the price. It's $89.99 before shipping (free in the U.S. if the order is over $50) and taxes—which could easily make this toy over $100. For a toy that I can only use on the lowest settings with a very gentle touch, unflattering packaging, overheating, and uncertainty that the toy won't get moldy due to its design, I'm not sold that the value is worth the cost. The packaging includes paper instructions, a cheap-feeling storage bag, and a magnetic USB charging cord. One can find similar toys in the same price range that scream luxury without sacrificing powerful vibrations. Theoretically, I would say this toy is worth $60. Still, because of my hesitance around how it overheated and potential cleaning issues, I can only recommend it if it goes below $40.
Performance
The bullet (I'm not writing its long, almost militaristic, product name out) lives up to the main promises it makes online. It is powerful, almost disturbingly so. So much so that it hurt to use it beyond its third speed. And it's LOUD. Apparently, this vibrator is supposed to have a rumbling and thumping sensation. Instead, it felt very buzzy (maybe because I was using it gently) and hurt my arm. Also (alarmingly), the toy gets hot fast, which feels great but probably isn't good when that's not a product feature. The toy also has a relatively short battery life (30-40 minutes) with a 150-minute charging time—which is fine because I couldn't use the product for more than 10 minutes without swelling (yes, down there). Online it's stated that this toy is for clitoral, nipple, and penis stimulation. I could see this toy being good on the lowest setting for a massage. This toy might also be good for someone if it takes a good amount of stimulation to get turned (or climax).
Packaging
Personally, I wouldn't say I like the packaging design. It feels cheap—like I've bought an electric razor from a website that only sells horribly emulated off-brand products. The packaging is very masculine-centric, with a color pallet of primarily blacks and reds. The vibrator can be seen through a thick panel of transparent plastic, and a basic list of specifications is printed on the back of the box. It's worth mentioning that there are no extra tips or suggestions for fun ways to use the toy on the packaging (which, by the way, is not intended for internal use). The cardboard box is closed with a weak magnetic strip on the side, making it prone to flying open if not handled carefully. Additionally, the toy itself is not securely held in place, so it can fall if not opened on a flat surface (guess that happened when I first unpacked it). Under a very fragile layer of black plastic are the instructions, charging cord, and storage bag (which I will not use for a lack of quality). Overall, I recommend looking for a different product, as the appearance and quality of the toy and packaging are significant factors when determining which products to avoid or purchase.
Materials and care
The bullet vibrator is made of body-safe silicone and ABS plastic (where the controls are), making it compatible with standard toy cleaners and mild soap and water. It's also wholly water submersible, which can be fun in different play scenarios. I am hesitant to say that I'm comfortable with its design and trust that it won't grow mold. Where the silicone ends and the ABS plastic starts (at the end of the toy), there is a hard-to-clean gap where water could get trapped. For those purposes, I've only been cleaning it with a wet, soapy rag and ensuring that it is completely dry before placing it in a place that doesn't get humid. I'm not a fan of the baggy it comes with; it feels icky (I literally can't think of a better word), thin, and unpleasant. Until I get another storage container, it has the privilege of being wrapped in a small towel and placed under my bed for the foreseeable future.
