Why I Chose It
I didn’t pick out the Lovehoney Mega Mighty 2 as the Test Winner because it’s the biggest penis extender in this review. I picked it because I think it’s a great all-rounder. With a total length of 7.5″ and a diameter of 2″, I think it will cater to most average-sized erections, adding just the right amount of extension and girth.
The realistic design is impressive in terms of the texture. The raised veins and the pronounced head provide some extra stimulation for you partner. Our tester, Josh, really liked the clear design since it “offers you a more unique view of your cock actually wearing a toy, and allows you and your partner to still see your boner even though it’s covered by a large extender.”
The sleeve itself is quite thick which actually makes it possible to use with a partial erection. Despite it being “fairly weighty for a toy that is to be supported by your penis”, Josh found that the ball loop was easy to use, and kept the Lovehoney Mega Mighty in place nicely.

The Lovehoney Mega Mighty 3 is a really close Runner-Up as it’s almost identical to the Test Winner, just with a few extra inches to play with! This penis extender has about 3 extra inches to offer in length. It also has that realistic design with added texture for your partner, and a lot of different colors to choose from. This penis extender offers a whole lot of bang for your buck.
Josh also tested this one for us so we could get a proper comparison from him. Even though it’s similar in design, he noted as those 3 inches “really does make all the difference.” Thanks to the soft and flexible soft plastic, it is “comfortable to wear, and feels pretty lifelike.”
The main and most obvious drawback is that “it provides far less stimulation for the person wearing it than the person on the receiving end of it.” This, on the other hand, can be a pro if you want to delay orgasm and your overall playtime.

As our tester, James, said in his review: “If you’re proud of your natural size and just want to spice things up, this toy is your spicy sidekick – give it a whirl!”
The interior texture is a nice feature so both partners get to enjoy the penis extender. The only thing to keep in mind is that it requires a lot of lube to keep things gliding smoothly in there. I also wouldn’t recommend this particular version to someone who has a much longer than average penis. The material is very stretchy but it is only about 4 inches long.

I selected the Vixen Colossus as my Expert Pick because it is THE best penis extender, in my humble opinion. It’s made of high quality, platinum-cured silicone, which makes it not only more durable and long-lasting, but also easy to keep clean and sterilize. However, I recognize that it is a luxury item and has a price tag that fits that label. So, it’s probably not a great all-rounder, but for those who want to splurge on a premium penis extender, it’s perfect!
The design is also very impressive with the hyper-realistic details and the pronounced head to provide some stimulation for your partner. Our tester, Jeremy, did note that the tip can feel a bit overwhelming for the receiver because of the size. Be sure to warm up!
“I knew after my first use that the Colossus would be rated very highly. Why I Chose It
Our tester, James, really enjoyed the Perfect Fit The XPlay Breeder. It’s one of our best open-tip penis extenders that “lets you enhance your girth while still finishing outside the sleeve”. It’s made of soft and stretchy SilaSkin (TPE blend) so it’s definitely not as durable or easy to clean as silicone. Still, it’s comfortable to wear and stretches to fit a lot of penis sizes: “If you’re average-to-large, this sleeve will fit like a dream. But if you’re smaller, it might be a bit too roomy.”
While James found that the interior texture is a bit subtle, “once you’re wearing it, the tightness and exposed head still deliver some fantastic sensations.” Both he and his partner has an amazing experience with the enhanced penetration.
Keep in mind that the material is not compatible with latex, so latex condoms or any other gear isn’t a great idea. Although, with the open-tip design (and the product name), I’m assuming a condom will be counterintuitive.
