Pjur Back Door Silicone Anal Lube Review
My Verdict
For a thin lube lover, this lube changed my mind. I really loved how smooth and coating it was, acting as a seal around my skin and sex toy. Even though this lube is aimed at anal adventures, it is perfect for any type of activity! This lube really will turn your bedroom into a slip and slide, it lasted forever. The whole product feels high quality, I was just not a fan of the twist off lid! When my hands are lubed up, I cant twist off the lid! Pjur is one of my favourite lube brands, and this was no exception - I might even go as far as saying this is the best, most high quality they have made! Now please just make it with a pump lid instead...

Design
I much prefer the design of this bottle over the other Pjur silicone lubes, as the graphic writing is more exciting and fun, as well as the cheeky butt picture too! I think it is more eye catching and engaging and really shows what it is made for! If you like a subtle looking lube, then this might not be for you, as it certainly doesn't leave anything to the imagination! Some may think this bottle design looks cheap and tacky, almost seedy, but I think it is fun!
Ease of Use
This lube definitely had the highest tackiness out of all the silicone lubes that I tested, as it is more targeted towards being used for anal activities. The thickness of this lube increases its tackiness, making it a little sticky after using it for a long period of time. This lube is more appropriate for anal adventures, as a thicker, more sealing lube is typically more comfortable. It took longer than most silicone lubes to wash off my hands, and took me a couple of hard scrubs. This is a good indicator that it would be good to use in the shower, as it isn't initially affected by water. You can use this lube with latex and polyurethane condoms and it is compatible with glass and metal toys.
Quality
This lube feels very thick and luxurious on the skin, almost coating it in a smooth paste. It is FDA approved, meaning that it has been trialed and tested by professionals, reassuring me that it was safe to use. I really value professional testing on something that is reacting with my body, as I want it to be as safe as possible. this lube doesn't have a pH balance as it contains silicone. A pH reading can only be obtained when water is present. If you have sensitive or reactive genitals, always try and opt for a lube that is neutral or slightly acidic, as an attempt to not throw off your body's natural pH.
Price
I thought the price of this lube was very expensive! I know that this lube is thicker and feels more coating and luxurious than most other silicone lubes, but it isn't anything special. Sure, it is aimed at being used for anal, but you can use any thicker lube for anal activities! To me, it feels like Pjur are trying to capitalise on this, therefore allowing themselves to charge more money. I wouldn't pay this price for this size bottle, as it is the same size as the other Pjur silicone lubes, that are a lot cheaper!
Performance
This lube didn't want the action to stop. It just kept going and going! No need to worry about the longevity of it, as only a little bit goes a very long way (and for a long time)! It was thick, tacky and coated anything it touched. It has no taste, but it has a slight chemical smell when being smelt out of the bottle - otherwise when in use, there was no smell. It had no temperature features or tingling sensation to it. For an expensive lube, I would have appreciated it having more features, so it felt like I was actually paying for more.
Compatibility
This lube is compatible with glass and metal toys - When I used it with a glass dildo, it coated it 100%! It took a couple of attempts to wash all of the lube off the toy, as it was still slimy when I was washing it with boiling water! In some ways, it was reassuring to know that this lube wasn't going anywhere and that I could rely on it lasting for longer than me! on the other hand, it was annoying that it took so much effort to wash off my toy, leaving it slightly greasy after washing.
Stain Test
When on cotton sheets, this lube created quite a dark stain. When it had dried, there was a dark ring left behind. It was a little tricky to wash out, so I had to be thorough. The other Pjur products washed out of sheets, so it would have been nice if this lube acted the same way.
