Every Type of Sex Machine Attachment, and Where to Find It

By Rachel Worthington / June 03, 2022

Part of the fun of owning a sex machine is finding new ways to play, including adding new and exciting attachments.

Perhaps you’re craving a bigger dildo, or a way to get some penis stimulation — there’s a huge variety out there to keep you satisfied.

However, sex machine attachments are very rarely a one-thing-fits-all affair.

Each sex machine is different, and knowing what’s available to you and your sex machine can be pretty confusing.

Here’s some inspiration for what to try next with your machine, including guidance on how to find a compatible attachment, no matter which sex machine you’ve chosen!

Most thrusting sex machines come equipped with a dildo or two already, but that doesn’t mean you should limit your choices!

There are huge amount of options when it comes to attaching a dildo to a sex machine. You’re really spoiled for choice! Just remember to opt for a dildo with the right attachment method for your specific sex machine.

Here are some of the most common types of dildo sex machine attachments:

Dildos with Adapters

Depending on your choice of sex machine, you may be lucky enough to get a wide range of new dildos to fit onto the thruster. The easiest way to find one with the right connector is to buy from the same brand, but you can also look elsewhere if you know which type of attachment you need.

Sex machine makers Hismith have a gigantic range of dildos on their website that are designed to fit on their machines. These are primarily with KlicLok connectors, like this realistic silicone dildo, or 3XLR connectors, like this unusually-shaped silicone dildo.

Suction Cup Attachments

Can’t find a suitable ready-made dildo attachment? Not to worry — there are plenty of other ways to attach a dildo to your sex machine.

The easiest, and perhaps most practical option for most people is a suction cup attachment. This is usually a simple flat, circular plate for you to stick your choice of suction cup dildo to. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done!

Several sex machine makers offer suction cup attachments, including this one from Hismith. If you have an F-Machine, you can also try out their suction cup adapter, which also comes with several sizes of o-ring. This is perfect if you have a dildo with a weaker suction cup, or a dildo that only has a flared base and no suction, like the Vixen Mustang.

Locking Attachments

Many different sex machine makers offer various brands of locking attachments. These are attachments that fit snugly inside compatible dildos that have specially-designed holes in the base. They allow you to securely attach dildos to things, whether that be a sex machine, suction cup or strap-on harness.

Some sex machines even come with this kind of attachment included, like the MOD Xtreme Power Engine 2.0 and the Kink Power Banger.

The Kink Power Banger uses what is probably most famous locking mechanism: Vac-U-Lock. This is a system created by sex toy giant Doc Johnson, and is available in a huge range of products.

If you don’t have a sex machine that comes with a Vac-U-Lock attachment, you can often find one separately. Hismith offer a range, including both single and double dildo options!

Plus, if you don’t have a Vac-U-Lock dildo already in your sex toy stash, they’re super easy to pick up at almost any sex toy store. Some of our recommendations include this smooth black silicone dildo, this hyper-realistic silicone dildo, and this towering 12″ dildo known affectionately as ‘Black Thunder’.

Universal Dildo Holders

If all else fails, you can always turn to a universal dildo holder. These use straps to keep your dildo in place as you go for the ride of your life.

Again, you’ll have to find one that can connect to your specific sex machine. This dildo holder can be used with sex machines from the Stockroom, but there are many other types available, too.

Dildos aren’t the only way to play with a sex machine! If you have a penis and are a looking for new ways to experiment with your sex machine, then why not try out a masturbator attachment?

You have two main options, the first of which is a purpose-made masturbator with a sex machine adapter already fitted. Like always, you’ll have to find one made to fit your sex machine, but there are a ton of options. Our favorites include this masturbator from Hismith, and this from Lovebotz enigmatically named ‘Pandora’s Pussy’.

The other way to go is to buy an adapter for a masturbator you already own. Think a Fleshlight, or other similar male sex toy.

This adapter from the Stockroom is incredibly easy to use — just remove the bottom cap from the Fleshlight and screw it into this instead.

You can even adjust the level of suction like you normally would by tightening or loosening it.

Sex Toy Mounts

For all the great things that thrusting sex machines can offer, there are some things that they lack. The majority of women find it difficult or even impossible to orgasm from penetration alone, which is where clitoral vibrators come in.

But, why must we be denied a truly hands-free sex machine experience? What if you don’t want to hold a vibrator down there?

Bring on the sex toy mounts! They come in all shapes and sizes, designed to hold your choice of sex toy, however you want to use it. Some attach to thrusting arm, like this one from Hismith. It has a velcro strap that can hold a vibrator, dildo or even masturbator.

There are also clamp-style mounts that attach to the body of your sex machine, like this one. Many of them are posable, so you can hit exactly the right angle, no matter which position you’re in.

Attachments for Ride-On Machines

Notice a trend in our recommendations so far? We’ve discussed all kinds of attachments for thrusting sex machines, but now it’s time for ride-on sex machines to shine.

Each ride-on sex machine has its own set of attachments that fit on the saddle, offering you a different range of sensations. We’ve rounded up some of the most popular to provide you with some inspiration!

The Cowgirl

The Cowgirl is premium saddle-style sex machine that has remote and app controls. All of the attachments available for the Cowgirl are made of 100%, body-safe silicone, and come in a variety of shapes and styles.

When you buy this sex machine, you’ll get the non-penetrative, grinding attachment Rawhide, and the Wild West dildo-style attachment as standard. However, there are plenty of others available, including the Two-Nicorn, a blue sparkly attachment with two dildos for double penetration.

The Motorbunny

The Motorbunny is very similar to the Cowgirl in a lot of ways, though perhaps not quite as luxe (though it is also cheaper). Just like the Cowgirl, there are a lot of attachments to choose from depending on if you have the original or the Motorbunny buck. Some are silicone, but there are also a range of TPE attachments, which are cheaper but lower quality. I would recommend sticking with silicone attachments, like the rabbit-style Bunny Buddy, if you plan to insert them.

However, Motorbunny have thought a bit outside the box, too. Alongside all the dildos and grinders, they also offer a realistic masturbator for penis-owners called the Jiggle Butt. This torso-like attachment allows you to thrust away as the machine vibrates, for doggy with a difference!

If you prefer thrusting as well as vibrations you could try out the Motorbunny Buck, which comes with this bumper set of Vac-U-Lock attachments. In a collaboration with Doc Johnson, Motorbunny have created an attachment with a Vac-U-Lock plug that allows you to attach any Vac-U-Lock dildo to your machine and ride away.

How to Find Attachments for Your Sex Machine

Finding the right attachments for a sex machine isn’t easy. Unlike, say attachments for a magic wand vibrator, sex machine accessories aren’t at all standardized. Almost every sex machine brand uses a different type of connector, and it can be hard to know if one attachment will actually be compatible with your machine.

That being said, there are a few popular attachment types, which include:

  • Screw-in
  • 3XLR (or 3-pin connectors)
  • Click-in
  • Suction cup
  • Vac-U-Lock
  • Clamps

Some brands will use different names for connector types. For example, many Hismith sex machines use click-in attachments, which they call KlicLok.

All in all, your best bet will be to look for sex machine attachments in the same place that you bought your sex machine from. If you bought it from a sex machine brand’s website, like Hismith, Lovebotz or Cowgirl, then you’ll mostly likely be able to find attachments on that same website that are guaranteed to fit your machine. If you’re on a sex toy store site, like Hustler Hollywood or Lovehoney, then make sure to check the product details of the attachment to see if it’s compatible with your machine
