Why I Chose It

I have to say I was very impressed by the selection in this sex toy advent calendar. I think it’s really well thought out and gives you a great range of sensations and experiences to explore with your partner. The different toys and accessories complement each other really well. Not to mention, it’s fantastic value for money! You are basically getting an entire sex toy collection for a fraction of the price!

I love that they’ve chosen to include two ‘main prize’ toys this year instead of one, and that one is a couple’s vibrator! The We-Vibe Sync Lite is fantastic toy. Alexa B had previously reviewed it for us and gave it perfect 5/5 score! I’m a big fan of couples vibrators and love that this one has some great vibrations and is super easy to connect to the We-Vibe app!

The other big toy is the Womanizer Liberty 2, which also got an impressive 4.5/5 from our tester, Danie. I love the feel of the Liberty and was impressed by how much power it’s got for a compact toy!

I also really like the bondage items in the calendar! They have a beautiful shimmering design and are very beginner-friendly. The little lightning strike nipple clamps are amazing! I’m totally in love with the design!

Another great upgrade is the packaging — this year each toy is inside it’s own cardboard box rather than behind a perforated windows, which end up looking raggedy and messy.

Why I Chose It

I think this calendar is fantastic if you want to treat yourself or your partner to a sexy build up to Christmas. I was very impressed by how much you get for the price and think there’s plenty of variation to explore in the calendar. I will say that the items are more geared towards beginners than more experienced sex toy users. However, if you only have a few toys in your collection and want to give it a boost, this is a great way to do it. It’s so much fun getting a little gift each day and it’s so beautifully presented!

The main gift is the Lovehoney Indulge, which has some pretty powerful clitoral suction and some decent internal vibrations that complement each other wonderfully! Karen had reviewed the Indulge for Bedbible and actually found the clitoral stimulation too powerful for liking. While I think the Indulge is a great quality toy, some might have issues with the fit, especially If you’ve struggled with rabbit vibrators or dual stimulators in the past.

Similar to the couple’s calendar, you get a bullet vibrator that can be used with the other silicone accessories (dildo, anal beads, & finger vibrator). I love that the bullet is rechargeable and like the rose gold design. It’s pretty powerful but also quite buzzy.

It’s all worth mentioning that you get a lot for what you pay for. The Indulge alone would cost $79.99 and you get the whole set and a super fun experience for $119.99!

Why I Chose It

I was really excited to see a sex toy calendar for men and people with penises as there are just as many options out there! I got my penis-owning partner to help me try out some of the eggs so I could give this a real test!

The calender looks festive and has a whimsical joy to it. Unlike other calendars that have a more seductive look, the Tenga Calendar looks almost exactly like it’s chocolate filled counterparts! I think Tenga have such a playful, cheeky approach design that’s very accessible.

We really liked that each egg had a different texture for variation and you get to sample the whole Tenga Egg Range. While we didn’t quite get around to testing all 24 eggs, we did test out the one of the Wonder Eggs and one of the more intense Hard Boiled Eggs. My boyfriend enjoyed both ended up liking the Wonder Egg more because the texture was more pronounced. It was fun that he could feel the difference. I also really enjoyed the added excitement of using it on him, so although this is primarily for penis owners, partner’s can definitely get in on the fun!

In terms of value for money, if you enjoy Tenga Eggs you definitely make some savings on buying the multipacks and get the added fun of having a new egg every day for a month! It would, however, be nice to have a little variation or even just a different toy for the main present on the 24th.

The main complaint we had is that each egg is only single use and comes with a lot of plastic packaging, meaning you are creating a lot of waste for every use. Plus, although the packaging looks beautiful, the inner tray is made of styrofoam, which is more plastic waste.
