My Personal take on the design of the Doxy Die Cast

The Doxy Die Cast comes in 8 different designs — four plain colors, three patterned variations, and the brushed silver version and I am so happy that I got that one, as I am madly in love with the industrial look of it! It's big, it's heavy and it means business. I also love that the buttons light up.

Understanding the Accessibility of the Doxy Die Cast

Doxy have made the Die Cast super easy to use. You have three buttons — one to turn it on and activate the pulse mode, one to turn the power up and one to turn the power down. I also love that the buttons are easy to feel and push and have raised symbols on them. The weight of the Die Cast might make it difficult to use if you have strength or mobility problems, but it can also be blessing because the combination of the weight and power means you don't actually have to hold it while you use it — you can can get it into position and let it rest against your body.

Quality of the Doxy Die Cast

The Doxy Die Cast feels like it could survive an apocalypse! The body is incredibly sturdy and the head is covered in lovely soft silicone. It's also made in the UK not too far from where I grew up, which is pretty cool! It is also covered by a 12 month warranty against any manufacturing fails.

Affordability Check: The Price of Doxy Die Cast

The Doxy Die Cast is definitely an investment, but if you have the cash and love strong vibrations, I 100% absolutely recommend this wand. Not only is a powerhouse of pleasure, it's so versatile as well! You can use it all over your body and it's great for using alone or with a partner. I do really love the design of the presentation box that the Doxy Die Cast came it, but I wish it had come with a cute zip up pouch to store it in as the box is very big and not as easy to open and close each time. I also appreciated that it comes with three different adaptors to use in different countries that are super easy to swap out.

Pleasure Check: How does Doxy Die Cast Measure Up?

The Doxy Die Cast has eight vibration intensity levels, giving you a much broader range than the Magic Wand Original's two. The vibrations start out as a low rumble on 3000 rpm but the second level already feels like quite a jump up in terms of power and the max level reaches a whopping 9000 rpm. I was actually a bit scared the vibrations would be painful on the higher settings but they weren't at all — just very intense! I mostly only use the higher settings through clothes. I love that it still feels relatively rumbly on the higher settings as well. I am also very impressed by how little you can feel the vibrations in the handle — you can barely feel them which is fantastic, as your hand doesn't get that weird tingly, numb feeling after holding it. The Doxy Die Cast is pretty loud, the lowest settings measure around 40 dB and the higher settings get up to around 65 (measured next to the device when holding it against my body), so not the best option if you need something discreet!

Is the Packaging Worth the Hype?

I absolutely love the Doxy Die Cast packaging! The minimal sleek slip cover reveals a thick black box with Doxy's signature holographic D logo which makes you feel like you are part of some secret sex society for vibrator lovers. This box also works as storage for the Doxy as unfortunately, it doesn't come with it's own storage case.

The Doxy Die Cast’s Material and Care

As the Doxy Die Cast is a mains powered/corded vibrator, it is not waterproof and you should be very careful when cleaning it. The instruction manual still has the instructions for the old materials (PVC) but the head is now covered with silicone. You should clean it with a mild fragrance-free soap and a damp cloth, making sure to remove all of the soap and not to let any soap or water get inside the device. Then you can dry it with a clean towel and store it in it's presentation box.

Aside from getting up to 9000 rpm, the Doxy Die Cast’s special feature is the aluminium-titanium alloy body. This wand vibrator is built to last and boy does it look sexy!
