The Perfect Size

Amazing Realism

Design

She looks beautiful. Being wrapped in clothes or even just laying in your bed with her missing parts "hidden" under a blanket, she will really look very real. The boobs are silicone though - I haven't seen a really life-like simulation so far. Yet they are still good to touch, especially the nipples - they are really close to real nipples. The same goes about the private parts - they feel very lifelike when touched. The visual is very close, though it could have been closer if the entry points were hidden a bit deeper inside the skin folds - they look like what they are - circular holes left from the molding process to provide the doll with the internal cavities. I was fascinated with the curvatures, those not so obvious ones, like the subgluteal fold, dimples at the collarbone, vertebral cavity that follows the curvature of the skeleton in all its positions. Add here the set of accessories and the storage box - they all look very thought through and give you the sense of luxury.

Ease of Use

She is tough. It starts with the first moments you get the package delivered - I really recommend using a dolly to get it from the entrance/mail room/post office. Taking the product box out of the postal packaging box is easier done to the side, rather than upwards, the same with taking the transporting bag out of the product box. Then they say you should wash it thoroughly before first use. I used the bath tub for that - the bonus with that is that the doll is warmed up in its whole volume during the process. To do that one has to take her out of the box and then gently(!) place it in the water. Surprisingly - it floats, and that's with all its weight! After that you need to thoroughly wipe it dry with a towel and then pull out of the bath tub and get it to your bed or any other play location. I was sweaty by that time already ;-) So my advice is to use a big towel as a kind of a stretcher to handle her. You would especially find this method useful AFTER the play session, when you will need to wash her once again promptly in order to clean her out, before lube and whatever else dries out inside her. Then when you will need to change her posture, which is tough as well - you will have to apply quite a good amount of pressure to make that bend on her back, and probably twice more to make her straight again for storage afterwards. With a live woman you can just ask her to spread hear legs or turn one leg to a side, with Monroe - you will have to apply direct pressure on her hip-bone in the proper direction for the bone to move.

Quality

Overall quality is very, very good. There were a few things that caught my attention though. The first one I already mentioned - the visible holes in the sphincters. This is something almost impossible to hide, but that really makes it feel artificial and kind of not properly looked at during the manufacturing process. Next is the seam line on the pubis. Well I am not sure if it is actually a seam there, but it looks as it is. Since I know they have an option to make the masturbation module detachable for easier cleaning. It looks like here they glued it in and carefully hid the signs of it being molded separately. Nothing bad, you will not notice it other than just a very light curvature change and a light line. I can even be mistaken that is just a simulation of the grand labia, but that's how I've seen it. The next thing is the bones and their absence. Mentioned before collarbones are not bones in fact - they are just curves on the soft TPE body. There aren't any ribs. The hip bones are there, but you can clearly feel they are just thin rods, so I am really worried about accidental dropping the doll on her hips or just jumping on it during doggy-style sex - I am afraid the rods could puncture the hips. It is maybe too much to expect from just a sex doll, but well, couple of decades ago we were only seeing inflatables or rigid models, now we have TPE, so why not dream of a doll that has proper density in more parts of the body? I could imagine that making e.g. the hip bones thicker, covering them with some more dense "muscles" and leaving the insides hollow could make the weight of the doll smaller. The same could be with the rib cage and its insides - it could have made it much lighter. Though maybe I am mistaken and such a body should actually weigh that much to be "close to life"?

Price

Compared to other dolls of similar size the price is on the average level. But buying such a beauty for yourself is a decision to make. When price can be counted not in hundreds but now in thousands of dollars (even if it is just 0.8-0.9 thousand) it is not something you can easily decide on. Is it worth the money - yes, if all the cons aren't stopping you - the doll will very soon pay for itself with money saved on something (or someone...) else. With this type of doll you really get the chance to try and enjoy the techniques and postures you were dreaming of. So decide for yourself.

Performance

The recent upgrade from Tantaly now includes a discreet black bag with zipper and handles that allow you to move the doll around more easily while it is packed for storage. There's also a small pocket on the outside of the bag for some extra items you'd like to store along with the doll. I could suggest to also adding a pulling handle, since I suppose most people would prefer pulling the bag rather than lifting it. Inside the bag, the doll is packed into the polystyrene foam form that holds the doll in place pretty tight and secure.

Materials and care

The material is TPE which is porous. It also has some oil in it so it can leave (easy to wash) stains on your sheets, so beware. The included instructions suggest using some easy-to-get storage and caring treatments, although that is optional. What is really important is to store the doll clean and absolutely dry, especially inside. The drying rod is included, but I haven't seen any effect from it other than using it as something to push in a handkerchief to properly and quickly collect all water residue after washing.

Special feature

The real special feature of Monroe is the skeleton and it’s ability to be bent and twisted. Other dolls sometimes have some rigid structures inside them not to be lumpy. Some other dolls do not have even that and are just a piece of TPE/silicone with holes for sex. Monroe is not like that. She has the true spine (not with all the spine bones, but at least it is centered on the back) AND she also has hips. The hips are sturdy enough to hold the doggy style position, you can spread them wide for missionary pose, or you can bend them up for the spoons position.
