My Verdict
At first, I was hesitant to review the Tantaly Daisy Doll. One rendezvous with her and any hesitation and doubts disappeared, and in their place, excitement took over. I cannot believe I considered turning down the opportunity to review and to use the Tantaly Daisy Doll! I had my favorite sex toys prior to my incredible encounters with Daisy (three encounters at the time of writing this review, and I’m enthusiastically looking forward to many more). Now I fear those former favorite toys may sit on my shelves collecting dust, as Daisy has surpassed them by leaps and bounds. Unveiling My Experience
A Bad Decision Was Almost Made
“Would you be up for reviewing the new Tantaly Daisy Doll?” the email in my inbox read. My first thought was, “No, I really don’t think I want to review, or use a sex doll,” was my initial thought. The fact that you are reading my review of said Tantaly Daisy Doll bears witness to the fact that I came to my senses, followed by the fact that I came many more times, thanks to Daisy.Out of the Box
The Tantaly Daisy Doll comes in an inconspicuous outer box, the opening of which reveals the Tantaly Daisy Doll box. Daisy is packaged very well – whether for short periods between uses or for traveling. She came wrapped in a frosted plastic bag, inside a heavy-duty styrofoam box. After a little work, I got her unpackaged and sat her on the table. I was somewhat surprised at just how heavy 41 pounds actually is. I then carried her to the bathtub and gave her a bath (she was about to have a big date, after all) and dried her well, in preparation for our big date.“Virgin” Run
This was my first experience using a sex doll, save a dismal experience with the Bangin’ Betty Stroker, which really isn’t a doll. I wasn’t sure what to expect, given the size and weight of the Tantaly Daisy Doll. I hoisted Daisy up on the side of the bed, lubed her up (You should use water-based lube only), and decided for my virgin run with her to start with doggy style. Immediately, I knew this was no ordinary sex toy. She felt incredible, as I entered her and stroked away. I was anxious to try other positions, as well as her rear entrance. While still in the doggy style position, I switched to her anal entrance. While it felt amazing, it wasn’t quite as much so as her vaginal canal. My favorite position is cowgirl; however, I was hesitant to try this position with Daisy, due to her weight and bulkiness. It turned out I need not worry, as it is her weight that lends itself to making the cowgirl position incredible. I balanced her weight between my groin and my upper legs/thighs, with more weight on the latter. Once I got her into position, I entered her, and holy shit! It is here that I need to recant a statement I made on a former review. During that review, I stated (truthfully at that time) that that toy felt very lifelike. Daisy literally felt like I had entered my occasional real life sex partner – the only difference being that the temperature in her vaginal canal wasn’t as warm as a real life partner. However, save the temperature factor (Tantaly sells heating rods to remedy this issue), had I shut my eyes, I would have though I was inside my live sex partner – Daisy felt that real. Due to the weight, I was unable to get full strokes, but it didn’t matter. I still found myself wanting to cum way too soon. I would stroke for a while, until I neared orgasm, and then stop, and then hold the top of her and rock her back and forth on my penis, creating amazing strokes by moving her. I could control the length of the strokes to some degree by how far I rocked her back and forth. I continued this switching back and forth between stroking into her myself, stopping and just enjoying the feeling of being inside her, and rocking her on my penis for about 20 minutes.Picking Up the Pace (or Finishing)
After those amazing 20 minutes, I wanted to pick up the pace, and to ultimately have at least one mind-blowing orgasm (I had two). This allowed me to make those full strokes I wasn’t able to previously, and DAMN! This time, there was no going 20 minutes. I came twice within five minutes. The Tantaly Daisy Doll weighs in at 41.5 pounds, and has no skeleton. Therefore, it is bulky and can be difficult to maneuver. For someone with mobility issues, it may be a challenge to move Daisy. I have Fibromyalgia as well as other conditions that do make it more challenging; however, I was able to maneuver her as necessary. While the weight of the Tantaly Daisy Doll is something to keep in mind, I don’t think it would be a significant deterrent, except in extreme situations. The Price Point of Tantaly Daisy: A Review
The Tantaly Daisy Doll is not cheap, but she’s not a “cheap toy.” Daisy is well made, extremely well thought out by the manufacturer, and comes with really nice extras. Upon opening the box, you’ll discover a carrying case with sturdy handles and a zipper, inside which Daisy rests in a heavy-duty frosted bag. Also included is a manual, or as Tantaly calls it, a Tantaly Sex Doll Life Magazine, which is the most comprehensive I’ve seen. Some of its contents are: their philosophy, doll buying guide, games and puzzles to win a reward, guide for aftercare, sex doll dressing contest, and much more. They include a pamphlet which gives the user instructions for service, maintenance, and a product description. The Tantaly Daisy Doll also comes with a PVC storage bag and a drying stick for drying Daisy’s canals.
Performance of the Tantaly Daisy
The Tantaly Daisy Doll more than lives up to the claims made by Tantaly. Their overarching claim is realism – from Daisy’s vaginal and anal canals, to her surface, to her ass. Those claims do not disappoint, as Daisy feels life-like in every aspect of the claims they make. Her ass is what they refer to as TantaButt technology. From their website: “The application of TantaButt technology creates an incredibly realistic and super-soft experience. Her buttocks will shake in sync with your thrusts, providing an exciting visual treat.” In my experience, I found those claims to be true. Her ass jiggled delightfully as I thrust into her.
Packaging: Adding Value or Just Fluff?
The Tantaly Daisy Doll comes in a colorful box which has minimal information. Among that information is a vibrant, and at times, humorous (probably due to translation error) description of Daisy. Her vagina is compared, in part, to sand dunes – not exactly a mental image that lends itself to a satisfying fantasy. However, I’m sure there is some meaning lost in translation, making for some rather humorous reading, if you care to read the box.
Exploring the Materials and Care of the Tantaly Daisy
The Tantaly Daisy Doll is made entirely of TPE, and seems to be high quality. Daisy is waterproof, as Tantaly recommends that you clean her in the bathtub occasionally. You can warm Daisy by placing her in a tub of water prior to use – make sure the water is no warmer than 122F. Tantaly sells heating rods to heat Daisy's tunnels. To clean, wipe down with a wet, soft cloth. Clean the anal and vaginal openings well. Tantaly has a sex doll washer. Insert into the opening and squirt warm (never over 122F) water into the canal. This will clean out any lube and sperm, ensuring a clean canal for the next use. Dry after cleaning – both inside and out. Use a dry towel to dry her outside. Tantaly includes a drying stick for drying the canals. Insert into either of the openings (Do not use lube). Leave inserted for 30-60 minutes, then gently remove. Place Daisy in a dry, ventilated place to dry. Store in the styrofoam box she was shipped in, facing down, as if she were lying on her stomach.
