Design

The Splendid is modeled to look like a realistically erect penis (without balls) that is best described as "stocky." I have no qualms with the dildo itself, but I find it a tad bit underwhelming. The base is sculpted so that it can fit well in a harness and has the word "UBERRIME" (brand name) printed into the side of the base, which didn't change my experience in the slightest (other than having to clean the area a bit more thoroughly before and after use). The model I received, in size medium, is on the bigger side and doesn't work the best with my anatomy. That being said, the design works well IF you triple-check (while using something to measure with) the dimensions of each Splendid size offered. I underestimated just how big the size medium would be (even while measuring), so I would appreciate it if the website was updated to include a few pictures of relative size scales.

Ease of Use

It is very easy to use the Splendid as intended. It's not electronic and doesn't require an app to operate. Just wash and go! Because the toy is designed with a harness-compatible base, it's simple to insert and use as a strap-on for partner play. For solo play, the toy is perfect for accessories like a dildo mount and/or the inclusion of an attachable suction cup base! I don't see this product giving issues to people with physical limitations if the individual using the product can (in partner play) find a harness that works for them and (in solo play) access their erogenous zones with or without aid.

Quality

I would best describe this dildo as sturdy and high-quality, with only the most minor imperfections (excess silicone) on the toy's base. Another sign of this toy's high quality is the number of color options available online. It's nice to have a wide range of customizable features available to me without much hassle. I'm confident that this toy will manage to last a long time with the right sanitation (and upkeep) measures put into place.

Price

To be honest, I'm a bit torn on the price. I think it's up to the individual if buying this toy, or from this brand in particular, is "worth it." The Splendid came in a discrete shipping box, and inside was purple tissue paper (similar to the color of the toys I picked out) and clear, sealed baggies with the toys inside of them, one of them being the medium dildo in this review. It's hard to say if the typical consumer would appreciate the work that goes into independent designs. I would recommend this toy for people who don't mind spending a bit more money on a basic dildo to support an independent business. I urge everyone reading to check out their website because their specialty designs are more "worth it," in my opinion.

Performance

The dildo did live up to the expectations set up online! The only issue to note is that I didn't realize how big the size medium would be, even after measuring it beforehand. I would have been better prepared if there were some relative size comparisons on the website. It will take a while for me to get accustomed to the pure girth of the toy, so it isn't exceptionally comfortable to use at the moment. But, because I trust in the toy's overall ability, I will continue to use it in the future when I want a bit of a challenge (size-wise).

Packaging

The toy came in a clear, sealed baggie with two stickers on the front and back. One sticker has the brand's logo, and the other has a few points on care and social media information. I don't mind this type of packaging, and it feels nothing but neutral, mainly because I know why this clear bag is used in the first place. For one, this type of packaging shows that the toy is secure and acts as a type of dust bag while shipping. Also, the clear bag is a trend in independent toy creators because they're easy to buy and can be strategically obtained so that the plastic is made of materials that won't harm the silicone being shipped (this information is usually found as a number symbol on the item itself). Many plastic items can harm silicone, which luckily isn't the case here. Besides the toy inside the clear bag, I also received a small card with more care information and a few small squishy freebies made of (what I'm assuming is-) excess silicone left over from earlier pours. I've only seen very small dildos online before (they're like a gag gift for many people) and found them shockingly hilarious in person.

Materials and care

The Splendid is relatively lightweight (compared to its different sizes) and completely body-safe, only using platinum silicone and cosmetic pigments that are standard with safe sex-toy production. That doesn't mean that users can skip out on practical cleaning routines before and after one's session. People can clean their pure silicone dildo with mild soap and water, a toy cleaner, and by boiling the toy with the aid of an online guide and practical considerations while in contact with boiling water. Caring for toys helps elongate the silicone's life and decreases the chances of coming into contact with harmful bacteria. The Splendid is easy to clean, but users should take extra care to wash and dry the type logo on the toy's base before and after use. It's also very easy to store, even without an included storage solution. The toy can be displayed (away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures), wrapped in a towel, and put in an additionally bought antibacterial storage baggy. Personally, I store my toys under the bed in separate bags to maintain each toy's durability.
