Design

This wand's design is a manifestation of unbridled wonder. The ABS handle is cast like a scepter and kissed with a metallic finish. It's crowned with a ring, encircling a suspended star. Swarovski crystal shines at the star's center. Silky, violet silicone coats the vibrator, like a candy shell dripping over an ice cream cone. From the enchanting aesthetic to the ergonomic grip, Zalo Courage is a work of art. It comes in Fairy Pink and Fantasy Violet.

Ease of Use

Every function was controlled using the Star button in the handle. It wasn't intuitive, but I loved it none the less. Arthritic users will be pleased by how little force it requires to operate. Inserting the charger into the charging port, on the other hand, can be a little finicky. Additionally, the app didn't connect to this toy. I tried multiple times on various days to no avail. It did, however, work just fine with Zalo Nave Vibrating Nipple Clamps.

Quality

Zalo boasts jewelry-grade creations, and they certainly achieved a magical aesthetic. Some of the materials were less impressive. The silicone arrived with a chemical odor, which washed away after a couple of cleanses. The ABS plastic handle felt lightweight to the point of being fragile. Some of the metallic finish has already chipped off. Additionally, the heating function stopped working after only a few uses. That said, the materials are all body-safe and the motor produced rumbly, quiet vibrations.

Price

Zalo Courage retails for $86. It comes with a satin carrying pouch, USB charger, product manual, and 1-year warranty card. Not to mention, this product can be operated using the Zalo Remote App. There aren't many heated vibrators on the market to compare pricing, but the Lovehoney Heat Wave has very similar features and dimensions. It retails for $99. It's more expensive, but also more powerful and rumbly. If one prioritizes power, go with the Heat Wave. If one prioritizes aesthetic, Zalo Courage is your lady.

Performance

Zalo advertises that the battery takes 60 minutes to charge and lasts between two and four hours. Instead, it took 1 hour and 39 minutes to fully charge; that's a 60% increase. The most powerful setting (with the heating function activated) drained the battery in 2 hours and 40 minutes, which does fall into the 2-4 hour range. On the lowest setting (without the heating function activated), it lasted almost exactly 6 hours. While I'd prefer that the charging time match the manufacturer's claims, the actual performance checked out.

Packaging

Zalo Courage arrived, cradled in a baby pink cylinder. The cardboard was sturdy, and tamper-proofed with shrink-wrap. The surface was painted with a collage of mermaids, centaurs, and more. Each deity seemed to be an archetype, symbolizing one of the four elements: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Scales, feathers, flames, leaves, and waves weaved throughout the graphic, sewing the beings into a singularity. Ethereal symbols were stamped throughout the image and surrounded a central title: Sweet Magic. It's a package worth cherishing.

Materials and care

This vibrator is comprised of body-safe materials. As with all silicone toys, only use water-based lubricant. Cleanse the Zalo Courage using a toy cleanser and warm water. As mentioned, Zalo Courage is Splashproof, not waterproof. Wash gently and avoid splashing water onto the charging port. Protect from extreme temperatures. Never attempt to boil or sterilize motorized products in the dishwasher.

Special feature

The Zalo Remote Pro App is perhaps the most advantageous perk of Zalo Products. It transforms physical pleasure into an interactive playground. Features like Musical Mode and Shake-it Mode weave creativity into intimacy; and the ability to connect with friends really spices up long-distance play. Unfortunately, Zalo Courage wouldn’t connect. This suggests that there are still some bugs to work out. However, I was still able to test the App using Zalo Nave. It was fun! It’s compatible with IOS and Android operating systems.
