6 Best Anal Stretchers for Dilation

Why I Chose It

I picked the Tantus Inner Band Trainer as the test winner as it really delivers on it’s promise to stretch you out! I appreciate that the uniform width stretches both the anus and internally.

Our tester, Devon, found that the shape of the toy was able to “gently coax all of [his] muscles open and to relax and stretch at [his] own pace,” which is exactly what you want! He was so impressed by it that he said it “has been the perfect toy / tool for stretching and training.” 

I really like that it has a very tapered tip, so the anus can expand gradually. I’m also a big fan of Tantus’ silicone — I’ve tried a few of their products and have loved all of them!

Ken also liked the silicone, commenting that he particularly likes “the soft but firm texture that makes stretching a pleasurable experience.” This is a really important feature as it makes the toy firm enough to insert but soft enough to be comfortable, especially when going deep!

I would say this is a near perfect anal stretching toy! The only thing missing is a suction cup base, which would make it a little easier and more versatile to use.

Why I Chose It

The Runner-Up offers a more dynamic experience compared to our Test Winner. This anal stretcher features pronounced ridges along the shaft that gradually increase in size. This shape is ideal for challenging your sphincter bit by bit.

Our tester, Mark, already owns the medium version of this anal stretcher and compared the two in his review. His biggest point of critique was something of this length needs to be soft and squishy like the medium version was. This size “is stiffer and so when it enters sigmoid it feels more intrusive. For some people it may be a plus, but for me it was a negative point.” 

He very much enjoyed the gradual stretching, “except for the leap from the last “rib” to the knot, where difference in diameter is a whole centimeter (0.4″).” A jump like that is quite difficult and so the knot may not be a realistic or enjoyable feature for some.

All in all, it’s a good quality product that’s made of body-safe silicone. It’s easy to clean and long-lasting. It’s also incredibly affordable!

Why I Chose It

The b-Vibe Anal Training Kit is without a doubt the best introduction to anal play and anal stretching! I love that it’s designed for complete beginners, from the very approachable small sized plug to guidebook that comes with a wealth of information on safe and pleasurable anal play.

Our tester, Aaron, was impressed by “the amount of consideration and passion that went into this” set. Even though he has more experience with anal toys, he still got a lot from the set. He was pleasantly surprised by how much he enjoyed the guidebook, commenting that it is “very thorough, and full of valuable information.”

He enjoyed all three plugs and appreciated that “the widening of the plugs is pleasantly gradual.” He was also surprised by how the vibrations of vibrating plug “kept going, ramping up the intensity to beyond what [he] anticipated.”

The only item in the set he wasn’t a fan of was the lube applicator because he felt it wasn’t so necessary, especially for such small plugs. I agree but I can it being more useful for bigger toys that go deeper!

Why I Chose It

As well as being surprisingly cheap, this little expanding plug has a very clever design! I really like that expanding design means you can enjoy that stretch and fullness without having to stretch the anus as much. Plus, if you’re anything like me, that element of surprise adds a real thrill of excitement!

Felicia took the dive and tested it, and she was pleasantly surprised by how much she “loved the feel of the plug once it was in, and expanded.” She described it as being “a fulfilled, yet empty sensation.”

I think the hollow design is a really fun addition, especially for partnered play. Felicia found the “the hole in the bottom made it so that there was a bit of a “breeze” coming up the tunnel,” which she described as “a wild sensation!”

She was also impressed by the materials, commenting that the silicone has “a very silky texture to it.” From my experience, this is the best for anal play as it makes it much smoother and easier to insert.

The main downside of this plug is that it can be a tricky to insert as you have to hold the petals together and they don’t quite make a tapered tip. Felicia this out first hand, commenting that it’s “pretty much not possible to do on her own.” 

Why I Chose It

I chose the G-Spot Tickler as the best butt plug for anal stretching partly because of it’s hefty size, but also for it’s asymmetrical design that makes for more comfortable stretching.

Tom was our lucky tester and he also appreciated that the “wide part being asymmetrical allows for a nice full feeling stretch, without it feeling too bulky.”

The other unique aspect of this plug is the slim, probe shaped tip that “makes it easy to get started” and gradually intensifies the stretch. Tom also enjoyed that the slim curved tip “reaches up to just about the junction of the rectum and the sigmoid,” which he found is a “wonderfully sensitive area.”

Overall, he was pleasantly surprised by “how comfortable it was to wear longish term,” especially considering the size!

Why I Chose It

This is by far the most extreme anal stretcher I’ve come across and I think it will challenge even the most experienced!

Sierra also reviewed this anal stretcher for us liked that it provides “a different take at anal stretching/training” that can really push the limits.

She really liked that “the cool metal makes for an deliciously interesting sensation.” It also has a “simple design and easy assembly.”

However, she found it a little tricky to use solo as it was difficult to manually tighten the wing nuts while the device was inserted. She also ran into another problem that the rubber o-rings would get stuck and prevent her from tightening the wing nuts further.

Given Sierra’s experience I would say this anal stretcher functions best with a partner to do the tightening for you. I think it would be a fantastic addition to partner play or for any partner that really loves a front row seat to your behind!
