My Impressions of the Aneros Prelude Enema Bulb

One may think that enema bulbs are all the same. They wash you out for clean and safe bottom play. However, the Prelude Enema Bulb by Aneros is the luxury, top tier version of the same ole enema bulb. I mean, if you’re going to have something to clean up before anal play, why not get one from the best, most award-winning prostate stimulator company in the world? I mean, they know anal play!
The Touch
When I took the Prelude out of the box, I was completely blown away at how soft and luxurious it felt! The bulb is very plush and pliable – featuring an attractive ribbed design that provides a great grip. But the nozzle was exquisite! Well, as far as enema nozzles go. Seriously, it was silky-smooth and flexible for the utmost in comfort. Plus, it’s designed with a stop that keeps you from inserting too deeply. Then, when you’re finished, the stop allows you to grip the bottom of the nozzle and remove it easily for cleaning.Gentle, Pain-Free Cleansing
The difference between the Prelude Enema Bulb and other enema bulbs is comparable to either using a gentle, cleansing sprinkle or a 2000 psi pressure washer. Which would you rather experience when cleaning your rectum? The Prelude is designed with a slow flow valve that gently cleans the rectum, rather than the entire colon – meaning no stomach cramps, trips to the bathroom for the next two hours and not trusting your farts! But the best part is that there is no backflow of water when using the Prelude. So, what sprinkles out, doesn’t get sucked back into the nozzle. Therefore, you get the best cleansing without your own waste being pulled back into the enema! And did I say how soft and comfortable that nozzle is? It’s beautifully flexible, conforming to your body, and it doesn’t poke or feel abrasive. Plus, you don’t need anal training before using it, as the nozzle is narrow.Clean-Up is Easy
After the cleansing process, I simply placed 2 fingers around the nozzle stop and pulled upward to disassemble the Prelude. Then, I washed the nozzle with soap and warm water and filled the bulb with a drop or two of dish soap and warm water. So, cleaning is a breeze. And with the Prelude being made of medical grade silicone, I didn’t worry about the material holding in germs and bacteria. Better yet, I didn’t have to worry about dirty backwash being inside the bulb.A Must-Have for Anal Play
It doesn’t matter if you’re a him, her or them, if you have anal play of any kind and want to be clean, the Prelude Enema Bulb is a must-have. Sure, there are other enema bulbs and cleaning kits out there. But the Prelude is the softest, most comfortable thing I’ve ever put up my butt! Plus, the stop keeps it from going in too far, and the gentle water flow keeps the stomach cramps at bay. Yes, this is a rectal irrigator and not a full-on, hose out the whole downstairs enema. So, it’s absolutely perfect for anal sex prep. Plus, it’s attractive too!

A closer look at the Design

The Aneros Prelude Enema Bulb is beautifully designed to be comfortable as well as having a slip-proof grip. It’s the softest, most luxurious enema that I’ve personally ever come into contact with. Plus, the design itself isn’t simply for looks, it’s all about function as well. With a nozzle created to hit the right depth, as well as the slow flow valve, the Prelude is unlike any other enema bulb on the market today.
How Easy is the Aneros Prelude Enema Bulb to Use? A Review

The Prelude assembles easily and slides in to the right spot, as the featured backstop prevents the nozzle from going too deeply. The backstop also provides a grip for easy disassembling. Simply fill the bulb with water, pop the nozzle in and squeeze the bulb for gentle, slow, cleansing that prevents the stomach cramping most other enemas cause. My only issue was the it’s a wee bit difficult to assemble without depressing the bulb.
Is the Aneros Prelude Enema Bulb a quality sex toy?

The Aneros Prelude Enema Bulb looks luxurious and expensive. Not only that, it feels even better than it looks. Made from medical grade silicone, this enema feels soft everywhere it counts – specifically the silky-smooth, firm, but flexible nozzle. And the pleated design looks attractive, yet functions to give you a comfortable, no-slip grip.
The Price Point of Aneros Prelude Enema Bulb: A Review

The Aneros Prelude Enema Bulb is well worth the cost. As a matter of fact, I was surprised by the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. After all, it holds 10 full ounces, is created with sensually, soft medical grade silicone and features a slow flow tip with zero backwash. Because of that, it’s a healthier more hygienic way to prep for anal play.
How I think it performed

The Prelude Enema Bulb is comfortable to use, allowing a slow, gentle cleansing without any unhygienic backflow. You can squeeze the bulb up to 4 times to slowly dispense the warm water and clean the rectum – and not the entire lower digestive track. What this does is eliminates uncomfortable stomach cramps and increased bowel function as well as anal leakage. The Prelude works exactly as claimed and is the best anal prep enema available.
Packaging

The Aneros Enema Bulb packaging is simple – a thin, cardboard box with clear plastic, showcasing the Prelude. Included inside is the ribbed bulb, the nozzle and an instruction booklet.
Materials and Maintenance

The Aneros Prelude is created with medical grade silicone, making it soft, comfortable and body-safe. Cleaning is a breeze with soap and warm water. When placing the nozzle into the bulb and using the Prelude, you need a small amount of water-based lubricant. And because of the silicone, you shouldn’t use any oil-based lubricants or petroleum jelly.
Special feature

The Prelude features a slow flow, one-way nozzle that cleans gently without flooding the colon and causing stomach cramps. And there is no backflow of contaminated water back into the bulb. So you are using clean, hygienic water with every bulb depression.

Conclusion
I absolutely, 100% give the Prelude 5 stars! Although I only use enemas on occasion, this, by far, is the most comfortable cleansing experience I have ever had. The water flow is so gentle, yet cleans well. And knowing the dirty water isn’t sucked back into the bulb, makes it a top choice in my book. And although I don’t see this as expensive, by any means, it is worth every penny! Luxury cleaning for your bottom!
