Unboxing

I received the b-Vibe Rimming Plug XL, in a box with nothing on the outside that might hint to what was inside. Just a basic ubiquitous shipping label giving a generic return address of “United Shipping Alliance”.  The plug was well packed in crumpled paper with no signs of shipping damage.  The plug itself came in a box that with a lot of good information on the outside wrap, and a very nice storage box with a magnetic clasp. Inside said box was the plug, charger, remote, instruction book in several languages, pamphlet on anal health, a storage bag, and a fun “anal is magic” unicorn sticker.

First Impressions

Upon handling the plug, the first thing I noticed was how silky it felt in my hand. The texture of the silicone is really nice.  It also had a nice heft to it. Heavy, but not too heavy.  The plug had a nice tapper to it, with a fairly narrow neck in relation to the widest point. There are two studs on the bottom for charging, and the charger is held on magnetically. The body is sealed which makes it water resistant. The manufacturer states that it is designed to be “splash proof” but never immerse in water, so I guess bath time is out of the picture. While it comes with a charging cord, it does not come with a power supply for the cord, but is a standard USB cord, and most folk have several of chargers lying around these days that accept them. It also has a locking feature so when you are travelling, it can’t accidentally turn on, a feature that could save you some embarrassment going through security at the airport.

Trying it out

After giving the toy a good wash with soap and water as directed in the manual, always a good practice with new toys, and charging it up, it was time to give it a whirl, (no pun intended). The tapper of the plug made insertion a breeze, and the ratio of the wide point to the neck kept it snugly in place better than most plugs I’ve tried. I found it very comfortable to wear.  Now for the motors. First I tried them independently. The vibrator at the tip was nice. It was controllable from gentle to moderate. There are several different patterns of vibrations to cycle though.  I found several that were enjoyable.  Then I tried the “neck beads”. That was a fun sensation. I’m not sure I would equate it to being rimmed, but it was very nice, nonetheless. It had a gentle, massaging sensation that was very relaxing. Here there were also several patterns to play with. Combining the two up the ante for a fun relaxing session.

Conclusions

I see this vibrating butt plug as more of a warm up toy then a main event toy. It gives a moderate stretch, and a nice massaging sensation. It’s not powerful in any of its setting, but very pleasant. Being the size queen that I am, I couldn’t help thinking how nice it would be to have a large version, but that’s just me.  Over all, I really like this toy and would recommend it to those that like this sort of sensation.
