My Verdict
The shape of the b-Vibe Snug Plug is incredibly well designed, making it a very wearable toy. The subtle stimulation is fantastic for keeping you in a state of semi arousal as you go about your day or adding some extra stimulation to PIV sex. It's not the most exciting or stimulating plug out there, but I guess that's kind of the point with a plug designed with extended wear in mind. Personally, I think it would be better if the weighted balls were more perceptible when moving normally. The Snug Plug is a quality toy and I've definitely enjoyed using it. I can see it getting semi-regular use, but it doesn't really leave me wanting more like some of my other toys do. Given the price, I personally wouldn't buy it for myself, but if you love being plugged for longer periods, I think it's worth the investment.

Personal Experience
First Impressions
Even after writing a whole blog post on how to choose the right-sized butt plug, I did doubt whether I had indeed overestimated my abilities when I saw the Snug Plug 3. For a second I wondered if I should have chosen the two instead, but decided that it was nothing I couldn’t handle! Taking the plug out of the box, the weight felt great in my hand and I loved how smooth the silicone felt. The plug also comes with a handy anal play guide, which is fantastic for anyone new to all things anal.Trying the Snug Plug
So my initial fears of the Snug Plug’s size were quickly replaced with excitement when it came to trying it out, but I was definitely careful to take my time. The barrel shape means there isn’t much of a tapered end to help ease the plug in, so taking it slow and giving my body time to adjust was essential. Things became much easier and much more pleasurable once the plug was semi-inserted and past the beginning of the barrel section. Once you get the majority of the barrel section inserted, the plug slips in easily. While it is possible to insert the Snug Plug 3 without using another toy to warm up, it’s definitely more comfortable to start with something smaller first. Once it was inserted, I was happy I’d opted for the Snug Plug 3, as the size felt fantastic once it was fully inside.Worth the weight?
The weights definitely add an extra layer of stimulation, but it’s very subtle. I couldn’t feel much movement when wearing the plug around the house. In the name of testing, I decided to see if the balls were more noticeable with some more vigorous exercise — I couldn’t notice much movement with yoga, only when I was dancing or jumping around. So, it’s not the most noticeable stimulation, but when you do feel it, it serves as a small sexy reminder that you are wearing a butt plug. I personally would have preferred either a little more weight or noticeable stimulation from the balls moving.Plug and Go
The b-Vibe Snug Plug 3 is easily the most comfortable plug I have ever worn. The more blunt end and flexible neck mean you can sit down comfortably with the Snug Plug in, and I found that the t-bar base sat comfortably between my cheeks without being irritating. Sitting down pushes the plug slightly deeper, and the barrel shape means you can really feel the plug moving inside you. I’m not a fan of wearing butt plugs for long periods of time, but I did enjoy wearing the Snug Plug around the house and found it had a good balance between comfort and excitement.Double Trouble
My favorite way to use a butt plug is during PIV sex or masturbation with a dildo, as I love the extra pressure and sensations you get from the plug, and the Snug Plug is perfect for this, as it is comfortable in so many different positions. It’s also really great to insert as a warm-up, as the subtle sensations really help build arousal.Design
The Snug Plug 3 comes in a choice of vibrant blue or black, I have the blue version and think it looks great! b-Vibe describes the plug as being torpedo shape, so unlike many other tapered or bulbed plugs, the main body of the plug is a cylinder, with a slightly tapered tip. This barrel-like shape is designed to sit comfortably inside you while providing stimulation through pressure and the movement of the weighted balls. This makes it super comfortable and perfect for wearing over a longer period of time or during PIV sex as the firm, cylindrical shape provides extra pressure against the vaginal wall. I also found the design of the base to be very comfortable and wide enough that you have no fear of the plug accidentally being fully inserted.
Ease of Use
I found the plug a little difficult to insert at first because it doesn't have so much of a tapered end. It really pays to warm up, take your time, and use plenty of water-based lube when inserting the plug. However, the lack of tapered tip also makes it comfortable to wear for longer periods of time, especially when sitting down. The thin flexible neck is another great feature that makes the Snug Plug easy to wear as your anal sphincter isn't stretched out as it would be with a thicker neck. I also love that it comes with a small book on anal play to guide you through the experience!
Quality
b-Vibe is known for its top-quality anal toys and the Snug Plug is no exception. The silicone feels almost buttery and is wonderfully slippery when combined with some water-based lube. The whole plug feels very well made and the extra touches, like the guide and storage pouch add the overall quality.
Price
The Snug Plug is definitely more expensive than your average silicone butt plug, but you do get top quality and the most comfortable plug that I've come across. As well as being a great quality toy, you also get a nice storage pouch and anal play guide included in the box, which is a really nice touch. I don't enjoy wearing plugs for extended amounts of time, but I think it's worth every penny if you love wearing your plug out and about or for longer periods of time. Also, if you haven't tried anal plugs or butt plugs before, I probably wouldn't start with a Snug Plug due to the price.
Performance
Once inserted, the Snug Plug stays in place really well and there's no fear of it coming out as the thin neck allows the sphincter to close around it. I may have preferred a little more weight and couldn't really feel the balls as I moved around normally. The only time I could feel the balls was when I jumped around to try and make them move — not something I would usually do, but it seems I will do almost anything in the name of sex toy testing!
Packaging
I like that b-Vibes packaging is tasteful, gender-neutral, and sturdy. It can be used for storage if you prefer a box instead of the included bag, but it's of course bulkier. The box also gives a cross-sectional view of the plug so you can see the placement of the weights.
Materials and care
The Snug Plug 3 is made from body-safe silicone that has a lovely feel to it and slides easily when combined with some water-based lubrication — just make sure to stay clear of silicone lube here. Thicker water-based lubes designed specifically for anal play are the best option here! It's also very easy to keep clean. Simply wash with warm water and fragrance-free antibacterial soap or a sex toy cleaner, make sure to dry it thoroughly and store it in its storage bag until next time! You should also remember to wash it before your next use.
Special feature
The unique torpedo shape and thin flexible neck of the Snug Plug 3 really sets it apart from other butt plugs on the market. This design makes much more comfortable to wear, as there isn’t a pointy tip pressing into you when you sit down. Also, your sphincter can tighten around the thin neck, meaning it stays put no matter how much you move around, giving you a sense of security if you are wearing it on the go.
