Size

Design

Design gets a 90/100, as the silicone feels extremely smooth, the button for the vibration is subtle but not hidden, and the shape combined with the weight ensures a comfortable and full sensation for the entire duration of it's stay. The loss of the 10 points comes from the soft shaft, which limits it's use in more active play, but is a huge help for keeping the plug comfortable, so I can't knock it too much.

Ease of Use

This is where the toy loses a little bit of it's roll. The button for the vibration is subtle, just a small bump on the base of the plug, almost impossible to see, and difficult to feel in the moment. There is a raised power symbol on the button itself which can help guide you, but there is other raised text on the base as well which can throw off your aim. Once it's in and you have it set in a good position, you can find the button and be sure that it's always exactly the same, but the initial feeling around can be a little awkward, and the button a little stiff, though it does soften after a few dozen presses.

Quality

The quality gets a perfect score from me. This plug is a completely waterproof, single pour silicone plug. This means no seams, and no irregularities, with quality control through the roof. The vibrator is very quiet but very strong, and the battery seems to last forever, I have nothing negative to say to the quality of this plug.

Price

If you're just looking for a plug, then this is very expensive. But as a vibrating plug it is quite a good price. At $80 it comes in around the middle of the pack for it's size, but the quality of the silicone and the vibrator inside definitely take it a step above the competition. The storage bag is a huge bonus, though unfortunately it uses a proprietary magnetic charger, which can be purchased separately. With this in mind I place the overall value at an 80/100 but probably higher when comparing specifically to vibrating plugs.

Performance

Performance is an easy 100/100, the soft but firm feel of the silicone make this toy extremely comfortable, the vibrations are highly varied with a good setting for most people and most of all it was QUIET. My partner had no idea I had it in until I showed them, which definitely says something. There was no issue with temperature, though I never stressed it at high settings for long periods, and while it was a bit of a stretch and acclimation period, there was definitely nothing wrong with the toy itself. The charge time could be a little shorter, but that may have been a low voltage plug that I used as I don't know the maximum charge speed of this battery so I won't say it's the plugs' fault.

Packaging

Packaging is another strong point of b-Vibe in general, but the snug plug definitely comes in strong. The packaging feels high quality, with a lot of extras, including; a storage bag, charging cable (which is compatible with all b-vibe rechargeables), a sticker, user manual, and a guide to anal play. Overall, there is a huge feel of quality in everything, the shipping package was a discreet brown box, but the display box is an eye-catching blue and covers all of the features of the toy without being too much.

Materials and care

The final 10/10 nail in the coffin for the snug plug is the material. The silicone is extremely smooth and soft, taking lube extremely well, and just an overall excellent feel. The entire toy is waterproof and is thus quite easy to clean with a mild soap and some water, with no worry as to the safety of the toy itself. The storage bag feels like it would be small, but the plug fits inside excellently, and it has openings on the corners to allow the base of the plug to stick out. This is a neat feature as it allows airflow to the toy so it can dry properly, and you can leave it in the bag while charging, no worries about accidentally leaving a gigantic plug on your nightstand when someone comes over, as it will just be a small black bag. The silicone is non-porous and body safe, the website mentions abs plastic, but that is exclusively and completely inside the toy for the motor itself, and never comes into contact with skin. Cleaning is a breeze, just a simple clean with a mild detergent or toy cleaner and some water, you can even leave it submerged for a few minutes to allow it to disinfect completely.

Special feature

A special feature of this toy is it’s “torpedo” shape and weighted head. The shape allows for easy insertion and removal, while keeping the bulk of the plug surprisingly deep inside, and the weighted head definitely presses on all the right spots, ALL THE TIME. It’s quite long for a plug, with the thickest part being securely within the second sphincter, this allows the plug to stay seated and the sphincter to relax a lot more than standard shaped plugs, while the weight keeps reminding you that it’s there, and you will not forget it. This video shows just how quiet this plug is, as you can barely tell it’s on unless I move it right next to the microphone while on the highest setting.
