Why I Chose It
I was the lucky tester of this stunning harness. Even to this day, it’s one of my favorite BDSM outfits. Something magical happens when I put it on. I instantly feel all kinds of sexy!
The straps really accentuate the body’s natural curves and the open-cup design leaves everything open for whatever stimulation takes your fancy. You can even pop on a pair of nipple clamps. The O-rings are also great for incorporating a bit of bondage. A lead or some handcuffs with clips work well with this harness-
The leather feels good quality and the straps are sturdy and have held up well. I also really appreciate that the harness comes with The first time I tried it on, it was a little tricky to get into and adjust, but now it’s easy to throw on.
If I was going to make any improvements, I would make the bottom detachable so it was possible to wear just the chest harness separately. That being said, you can buy the chest harness and leg harness separately on Lovehoney. I would just like the versatility. I’ve actually included the chest harness as the budget-friendly pick in this review, as it was just too good not to!

Why I Chose It
This is the harness that made me fall in love with harnesses.
This was our tester Rachel’s first BDSM harness and she clearly was head over heels for it! She loved that it “brings an instantly sexy dynamic, whether you wear it over clothes or with nothing at all!”
I chose this as the best harness for beginners, as I think it’s less intimidating than a fully body harness, and the popper style fastening is easier to manage than buckles. That does have the downside that very energetic play may result in the popper coming undone, so if you plan on getting a little wild, I would recommend a BDSM harness with buckles instead.
Rachel was a big fan of the open cup design as it “leaves the breasts and nipples open to be played with!” She like that it came with extender straps for the waist but did “wish that the center strap from the neck down was adjustable,” so it would fit different heights.
Although, it didn’t quite get full marks for quality because it’s plastic and not leather, that does make it a vegan-friendly option and overall, it did feel very well-made.

Why I Chose It
This leather bra harness from Dominix Deluxe is actually the top half of today’s test winner — the fully body harness. I absolutely love the design and at under $45, it’s a fantastic value for money, especially considering that it’s made from leather!
Our reviewer, Flora, wrote that she “felt like a seductive villainess” in this BDSM harness. She described the design as “an ode to gothic architecture” and I can get on board with that!
The open cup design is perfect for all kinds of breast play, but it also “looks seductively elegant with or without clothing.”
Although she found getting the harness on a little tricky, she found that “the belts adjusted comfortably for a snug fit, and the straps felt durable.”
Like the full sized version that I reviewed, this harness has an O-ring that’s perfect for clipping on a leash to or even attaching wrist restraints. As well as the full-body harness and this bra harness, there is also a leg harness version available for lower body restraint.

Why I Chose It
Although this harness is quite as sexy it in it’s design, it serves a much more practical but equally as fun purpose. The array of D-rings makes this the ideal BDSM harness for bondage!
Cassie tested it out for us her “favorite part about the Sportsheets Neck and Wrist Restraint is how versatile it is!” She thought it “felt really sexy to wear but nice and comfortable at the same time.” I like that both the collar and cuffs are lined with neoprene, which is soft against the skin.
Cassie really appreciated that the harness “is easy to customize for whatever position you want to enjoy, thanks to the long rows of D-rings!” As well as the cuffs that come with it, you could easily attach a lead or rope restraints.
The velcro fastenings are “unintimidating and easy to adjust” and the quick release clips mean you can switch positions quickly and seamlessly. I will say however, it’s not ideal for more intense bondage.

DIY BDSM Harness
If you are feeling creative or want something more versatile than a ready made harness, both bondage rope and bondage tape can be used to make your own harness.
If you do go down the DIY route, remember not to make your harness too tight. Also keep in mind that your chest expands as you breath and you need to be able to fully expand your chest. For it to be safe, you should be able to insert two fingers under the rope or tape otherwise it is too tight.

This bondage tape from Bondage Boutique only sticks to itself, so you can safely stick it anyway you like without fearing for your skin or any hair!
Another fun feature of bondage tape is that you can still feel touch through it, so even if you place it over your nipples when creating your harness, you can still enjoy stroking or light spanking through the tape!
