It’s so so important to educate yourself about the basic guidelines for safe leash play before actually trying it out.

Never too tight!
Collars are simply put not safe if they’re too tight. Make sure you research the sizing range of your collar beforehand so you don’t feel like you have to squeeze into something you actually can’t fit.
A good rule of thumbs is that you should be able to fit two fingers under the collar comfortably. You should definitely still be able to breathe, swallow, and move your head side to side when wearing it.
Type of Collar
