My Verdict

With a 7.5" long (6" insertable length) and 1.5" wide curved shaft it is perfect for creating a feeling of fullness and stimulating the G-spot. Personal Experience
First Impressions
My wife and I first saw this toy at a local shop and were immediately attracted to the bright colors and fun design. It fit what we were looking for, being harness-compatible and a little larger than average. We got it home and could not wait to get it out of the box and take it for a test drive.Getting Acquainted
We quickly realized that this is not a starter dildo, but something that would take just a little bit of warming up to use. It is on the firmer side, but has some give when squeezed. The texture is very pleasant and feels a little more realistic than some other silicone dildos that we own. Be warned that this nice texture does mean that things such as lint and pet hair may stick to it more than slicker toys. The head has a nice flare to it and the curve of the shaft is subtle. When tested the suction cup base held well on both painted walls and shower tiles.The Good Stuff
The Avant D2’s flared base and realistic head makes it perfect for deep, full penetration. We did start with a fair amount of lubricant as the head and length are a bit larger than some of the toys in our regular rotation. The flared base allowed me to have a good grip and precise control over both speed and depth. It also allowed me to twist and bend it in a way that you don’t get with baseless dildos. After a little bit of warm up and teasing the curve and firmness of the shaft led to a very pleasant feeling of stretching and fullness for my wife. The angles of the head, curve of the shaft, firmness and ability to twist/bend it while in use combined to bring her to almost the brink of over-stimulation.Design
The Avant D2's moniker Purple Rain is fitting. The design is a distinct mix and match of purple hues striped along its 7.5" length. It is decently firm with soft, silky texture which makes it extremely pleasurable to grab and squeeze. The silicone composition and unique curves and angles make it perfectly suited for G spot stimulation.
Ease of Use
Overall, this dildo is very simple to get to know and use. It takes very little force to suction in place and stays firmly affixed through tugging. The sloped tip and firmer shaft allow for gentle, gradual insertion. The silky texture does mean the occasional lint or hair can be found on it but it is easy to wipe off or quickly clean. It's the perfect size for the SpareParts Joque harness that we own.
Quality
The great quality can be seen and felt the second you pick it up. The box it comes in boasts of it being individually crafted, lab-certified body safe and notes a 5-year warranty in the U.S. and Canada. There are no seams or bubbles visible and it stands upright when set down on its base.
Price
We bought the Avant Purple Rain D2 by Blush from a local shop for around $70. This is on the lower end for the toys in our arsenal. It did not come with storage bag which is unfortunate but upon checking Blush's website it does appear they sell them separately. Overall, for the quality and versatility this dildo offers we think the price is worth it.
Performance
We were prepared to have to work up to the full use of this toy but found that after a brief warm up it allowed for a vigorous and adventurous performance. We have yet to utilize it for P-spot stimulation but its features make it clear it will be a hit in that category as well.
Packaging
The packaging showcased the Avant D2's bright colors and sleek design. The side of the box highlighted some quick handy info for consumers and the back details the Avant product line and care and cleaning tips. There were no extras included but Blush's website is noted, where other toys and accessories can be found.

The Avant Purple Rain D2 by Blush is made of platinum-cured silicone. It is body safe, non-porous, hypoallergenic and phthalate free. It is waterproof and easy to wash with gentle soap and water. It does not come with a storage bag and the silky texture means occasionally lint or pet hair clings.

The special feature of the Avant D2 is the suction cup. It is easy to suction to painted walls or shower tiles and clings well through gentle tugging and manipulation. It stands upright when suctioned vertically and allows for vigorous bending and twisting.
