Why I Chose It
I love the simple, classic design of these butt plugs. I’m sure if you close your eyes and think of butt plugs, this is what comes to mind! I gave it the top spot because they are simple and effective and offer quality at a reasonable price!
They were a big hit with our reviewer, Peter, who wrote, “Both me and my partner found all three to be great fun and a perfect combination to add a little sparkle to our play time.”

Why I Chose It
I was the lucky tester of the Biird Regii Butt Plug Set and was thoroughly impressed with the quality and design at such an affordable price!
They definitely don’t feel cheap at all. The silicone is velvety soft and they even come in their own matching blue velvet storage case.
I also love the asymmetrical T-bar base design as it means the base doesn’t get in the way of vaginal penetration. I also prefer T-bar bases to round ones because I find them more comfortable to wear, especially for longer periods of time. They also stay put really well and don’t slide out!
My partner, who was very new to anal play, actually tried out the small plug and found it a great size for him. It’s a shame there are only two sizes but at this price, I can’t really complain!

Why I Chose It
I chose this set as the best vibrating butt plug set as it offers variety in size and stimulation while still being reasonably priced. With two larger vibrating plugs and a small non-vibrating plug, there’s a butt plug for every occassion!
Dani tried them out for us and wrote, “I love these beginner anal trainer plugs.” His favorite plug was the medium as it “is a nice size to not stretch too much but still give the sensation of having something there.” He also enjoyed the large as “will really make you fill full down there,” although it was a bit too large for longer sessions.
I also really like that the shape of the base and thin neck make these comfortable for extended use. The plugs are very tapered, which makes them “very easy to slide into place with just a little lube.”
Although he liked that the “vibrations are fairly quiet” he did wish that they were a bit stronger as they were on the weaker side.

Why I Chose It
This really is the Rolls Royce of butt plug sets. I chose it as the expert pick because although it is fantastic, it is also pricey and more than the average person might need. This is one for the anal toy connoisseurs who only want the very best for their booty!
Our tester, Aaron, was equally as impressed! He wrote: “It’s easy to see the amount of consideration and passion that went into this.” b-Vibe really cover all bases in this kit, not only are the butt plugs fantastic quality, but there’s a range of sensations, including weighted and vibrating, and the kit comes with some really valuable extras.
The educational book might not seem like such a big deal but even Aaron, who is more experienced with anal play, thought it was “very thorough, and full of valuable information.”
Now onto the plugs themselves! The smallest plug is “very easy and convenient to use,” making it very beginner-friendly. The medium plug has an impressive number of settings to explore. In the large plug, the “weight isn’t exactly heavy, but it is noticeable.”
The only bit of the kit that Aaron wasn’t sold on was the lube applicator. I also had one in the b-Vibe kit I reviewed, and I have to say, it doesn’t really get much use, so I’d have to agree. Aside from that, I think that everything in this training kit is spot on!

Why I Chose It
A lot of butt plug sets and anal training kits are aimed at beginners but this one takes things up a notch and the biggest plug is enough to give most experienced users a stretch!
George, who’s already experienced in anal play, found the small “barely noticeable” and the medium pleasant and manageable, but described the large “was a challenge.” Although there is an equal step up in size (10 mm in diameter) from the small to the medium and medium to large, the large is almost 2 inches in diameter and there is no denying that that is BIG! Plus, it is 0.8 inches longer, meaning there’s more of it to insert!
While this could be challenging, I think this is a great set for those looking to work up to bigger toys!
On top of that this butt plug set “has a quality feel” and importantly “stays in place once inserted,” so you can enjoy moving around without fear of it popping out!
George also liked that they had “a nice, reassuring weight to them” that added to the overall experience.

How to Approach Anal Training
Anal training is the process of gradually being able to insert and enjoy larger anal toys. Whether you are a beginner just starting your journey or more experienced and looking for bigger and better, anal training can help you safely reach your goals!
Very simply, you start with whatever size you feel comfortable with. If you are a nervous beginner, you can find very small butt plugs or a slim, anal safe dildo. Then you get to used to that size before moving on to a slightly bigger toy. The key here is slightly bigger! Then you can repeat the process as many times as you want.
Here are my tips for safe, pain-free (anal sex should not be painful, no matter what you’ve heard), and pleasurable anal training.
Always listen to your body
If at any time you feel pain or notice any bleeding, stop and reassess the situation. Do not try to push through. Pain is there to keep us safe!
Preparation is key
If you are tense, the muscles around your anus will also be tense, making it painful and difficult to insert anything. Before you try anything, make sure you feel safe and relaxed. Here are some ideas:
- Create a warm, relaxing environment where you won’t be disturbed.
- Gently clean your anus. Douching is optional.
- Gather your supplies (lube, toys, wipes)
- Create arousal: watch/read/listen to erotic materials or fantasize to get in the mood
- Try some anal foreplay: massage your butt cheeks and stimulate around the anus to help relax the area
Start small
When choosing your starting toy, start with something you are fairly sure you can manage. It’s better to allow your body and brain to recognise that anal play is pleasurable than to push it too hard too fast and create a negative or painful association.
Always use lube
The anus does not self-lubricate like a vagina does, so you need to add some lubrication. If you are using silicone toys, you should only use water-based lubrication but if you are using glass or metal, you can use any lubrication you like.
Take your time
Rather than rushing to size up, spend some time getting used to the size you are on now. Again, this will allow your brain and body to feel safe and relax.
Size up
When you are ready to size up, don’t go more than 0.5 inches bigger in diameter than your previous size.
I also recommend starting the session with the smaller toy to warm up and then trying to insert the larger toy.
