Personal Experience
First Impressions
My first impressions of this electric chastity cage were a mixture of excitement and confusion. I’m new to the world of electro sex toys so was very much looking forward to exploring with this toy, however the complexity of all the different parts perplexed me a little at first. The instructions weren’t overly simple and the way the different sized parts had been packaged was not clear as to what parts go with others. In the end I just went for it and got a mix and match of different sized parts that I fiddled around with until I got the right fit for me.Putting it on
The base ring felt sturdy and comfortable against my skin. I used the smallest of the spacing tubes, to be honest I wasn’t entirely sure why these were in different sizes, I think I could have easily had a smaller spacing tube but never the less it all worked just fine, just took a bit of time to connect together correctly. As with most chastity cages you have to watch out for skin pinching. Unless you have a significantly below average sized penis you will struggle to get this toy on unless you’re completely flaccid, it wasn’t possible for me at least unless I was completely soft. If you have a foreskin that doesn’t recede back over the head of your penis easily it may be tricky, use extra lube to ensure the rubber inside the cage doesn’t stick and pull back the skin. Speaking of lube, the first time I used this product I didn’t use any, the second time I did. I would say it’s a personal preference thing but be warned, I found it made a difference in my sensitivity to the electric shocks! Attaching the electric wires is simple and easy. Wow!! This was great, SO much fun! I really liked how much control I had over the different frequencies and settings, there is a dial to turn up the strength and a button for increasing and decreasing frequency. Vibrate and massage were my favourite settings, there wasn’t a huge difference between these settings so it was hard to say which I liked more. Be careful with the dial! It is VERY easy to turn up the strength too high too quickly by mistake which I learnt the hard way haha! The strength of the electroshock also varied depending on what position I was in physically, how erect I was inside the cage, and how much or little lube I used. So proceed with caution, just because it wasn’t powerful 2 minutes ago doesn’t mean it won’t be now, depending on those potential changes. Once again this is a toy that really got me hard, my penis was pressed against the cage so much that my skin was bulging out of the holes! Speaking of the holes, I love that the cage has a hole in the bottom, my pre-cum was leaking everywhere! The product looks great. It's very sleek and sexy. Although it was a little complicated to put on the overall look was simple and sophisticated. The only thing I didn't like was the look of the remote control. It looked a little cheaper and in my opinion didn't really match the rest of the product, but this is a minor aesthetical personal preference.
Ease of Use
I wouldn't say this was hard to use, but it wasn't simple either. Putting it together and finding the right size parts is time consuming. Getting the chastity cage on wasn't easy if I had even the slightest start of an erection. The remote control gives a broad range of settings but it is easy to turn the dial up too high if you're not being careful. Not a huge problem for me but if you're a bit nervous about electrostim, one accidental strong shock could put you off using the product again. I would say there is a bit of a learning curve, a few practice sessions and it will be easier, but it's still not a quick slip on and slip of situation.
Quality
It's difficult for me to look at hard plastic and not think its a bit cheap, but when you're working with electrostim there probably isn't a huge amount of options. Considering it is hard plastic the product comes across as good quality. The parts appear to do there job well and be of good quality but by nature this is a delicate product, batteries/circuit boards/wires can damage easily. Overall I'd say for what it is the quality is good.
Price
As someone who hasn't purchased a lot of similar products I can't say exactly how good the price is. However, after looking and comparing online I'd say this is a fairly mid-high end priced product. In fact there are a lot of other e-stim products that are cheaper, but they may be of poorer quality. When it comes to e-stim I'd rather not go for the cheaper options, I want to trust the product. There are a large amount of different sized spare parts and the batteries are included. The product also comes with a number of plastic tags to use in place of the padlock in case you need to go somewhere metal free.
Performance
This product lived up to its expectations. It did exactly as advertised. I have no concerns over the performance of this product. It is So much fun to fool around with the variety of settings!
Packaging
The ElectroShock Electrostim Chastity Cage comes in a smart and sensual black cardboard box with blue electrocardiogram designs going across the middle of the box. I really like the look of the box, but in reality it could have been smaller for easier storage.
Materials and care
The materials are safe and lightweight. They are of good quality for the type of material that they are. The chastity cage and base ring alone are waterproof and easily washed. Make sure it is fully dry before reusing it, water and electricity do not mix!! The inside of the cage is pretty easy to clean, you'll need a sponge or something to get in there. The storage box makes storing the product a breeze but it is a little big.
Special feature
The fact that the ElectroShock Electrostim Chastity Cage can pass through metal detectors is a nice touch for those more extreme ‘live the life 24/7’ BDSM customers. It even comes with a number of plastic tags to ‘lock’ the product without needing to use the metal padlock, so they’ve really gone the extra mile. I mean you could always use zip-ties but hey, you don’t need to, this product has got you covered!
