Oxy CH39 Dome PA Chastity Cage Review
My Verdict
I was excited to try the Oxy Dome PA Chastity Cage, as I've been hearing for years how the best and most secure chastity devices for penises integrate with a Prince Albert piercing. I love steel cages, but this was the first cage I've worn that specifically designed to fit through a piercing. I found this cage to be both very comfortable and secure for short-term use, enjoying it both on my own and with a partner. However, more than a few days' wearing it resulted in some truly miserable pinching. Penises vary greatly in their shapes, sizes, and sensitivity, so my experiences will likely differ from others. Overall, this is amazing for short-term use and lived up to my hopes, but anyone looking to spend more than 24 hours locked up should probably look elsewhere.

About The Oxy CH39 Dome PA Chastity Cage
The Dome PA Chastity Cage from Oxy is a rarity: a steel chastity device that can be integrated with a genital piercing. It's made of 304 stainless steel and comes with three pieces that fit together: a base ring (which comes in 1 of 3 available sizes), an outer sheath that cages the penis, and a middle piece that connects the two and threads through a Prince Albert piercing, holding it all together. There are a few caveats to consider with this toy, and you must have a PA to us it, but it's a well-made cage worthy of serious consideration.

Personal Experience
Trying It On For Size
Chastity has become one of my favorite ways to heighten BDSM play. I’ve been excited for a while to finally try out a cage that could be fitted through my piercing. The package for the Dome PA Chastity Cage came with an instruction manual, Oxy’s standard booklet explaining different types of toys. However, the instructions are for general chastity cages. I will go into detail later about the complexities of putting this on. Suffice it to say that once I had washed the device and figured out how to get everything into place, I initially found this to be among the most comfortable steel cages I’ve ever worn! (As you’ll see, long-term wear was another thing entirely).A Solitary Approach
One important life lesson I’ve learned is to be careful with things I put near my junk. As such, I started slow with my testing just to see how comfortable and secure it was. I wore the cage for several hours the first day. There was no pinching and all of the pieces stayed in place, while its weight was hefty enough I could feel it without being a distraction. I did need to apply lotion under the base ring to prevent chafing–something you should always do with chastity cages–but it was honestly so comfortable I waited longer than I should have. On the second day, I wore the cage over eight hours and had a (very light) work out with it on. On my third time trying it on, I slept in the cage. The Restroom and a Night’s Rest:
Anyone with a PA should be familiar with the reality that they will need to sit when using the restroom. The same is true for wearing a chastity device over your penis. Given my experience with both, I had no issue here. The Oxy Dome PA Chastity Cage is notable in that the sides of the sheath have caged bars for easy ventilation and cleaning, but the tip has a round shield with several holes in it–a single central hole where the piercing hook exits the urethra and encircled by a ring of smaller holes. This shield is a little prone to splashing. While showering, the design allowed me to easily scrub everything through the bars without getting free. My biggest adjustment was in bed after I went to sleep. My penis rose before I did–or rather, it tried to. Penises are made of flesh, which turns out to be weaker than steel. My shaft bulged through the gaps in the bars while my crown smooshed against the round steel shield. Since my piercing was fastened to the device, that meant that even as the steel-caged sheath pushed back against the outside of my erection, the internal hook pulled it back down from the inside. This is a brilliantly clever design and my throbbing ache was tinged with pleasure. After using the restroom, my erection subsided and I was able to go back to sleep.Days, Nights, and Partnership Unlocked
The next day, I headed to one of my partner’s homes to stay with her for the week. We set to work diligently testing it with prolonged tease and denial sessions. I was only allowed out briefly during an especially intense teasing session, after which I took a very long time to calm myself enough to fit inside again. We also engaged in some impact play during this time. On the third day, the cage began pinching at the tip where the piercing hook exited the small urinary hole in the closed head of the cage. The hook was crushing the tender skin around my urethra, trapping it against the steel shield. I’m not small, and after days of edging, it seems the head of my cock had pushed too hard against its restraints. The piercing hook is 4 mm thick–one size smaller than the 5mm steel ring I normally wear. This meant that cage’s hook fit through the right hole but did not divide pressure evenly. By the end of the third day, the pinching got so bad that I had to remove it as the pain became debilitating. Such intense pain would be well-suited for a planned CBT session, but not for daily wear. I gave myself two days to recover before trying the cage on for some more kink with my partner.Design
To wear the Dome PA Chastity Cage, you must have a Prince Albert piercing 4mm (6 gauge) or bigger. With that in mind, the piercing adds an additional level of security while the design is surprisingly comfy (at least for short-term use). It's heavy enough to feel pressure when thinking about it without distracting me other times. The cage's steel bars allow for easy breathability, cleaning, and plenty of teasing. The base ring can come in three sizes, 40mm, 45mm, or 50mm, but the sheath and piercing hook are a standard size, which may not be comfortable for everyone. By comparison, its cylinder lock that is cheap and one of the keys I had bent when unlocking it.
Ease of Use
This is not for beginners. Even with years' of experience using chastity devices, it took me a moment to figure out how to slip the piercing hook into place (which I found works better after sliding the middle ring's slots over the base ring's extended sockets). Taking it off was also a challenge. Given the complexities, people with limited mobility or fine motor skills may not find this suitable for use. Having said that, once the cage was locked in place, I found it easy to clean and comfortable to wear in the short term.
Quality
The device is both secure and comfortable. It's discrete enough that no one will notice it under clothes, while it has a simple aesthetically pleasing design. I was even able to sleep in it without too much difficulty (though it's worth noting that morning wood can be painful when you're in chastity and it certainly was for me). The biggest downside I found is the potential for very severe pinching where the piercing hook exited my urethra and touched the metal rim crowning my member's head. The pain was manageable at first but became debilitating after several hours. Had I not been testing the cage, I would have taken it off much sooner. (That's right, I suffered so you don't have to.) I also found the key and lock a bit cumbersome and cheaply made.
Price
Overall, the Oxy Dome PA Chastity Cage is very reasonable for what you get. Chastity devices vary wildly in price. When starting out, people tend to begin with cheaper toys. Those who commit to more serious, long-term chastity can spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on custom-made perfectly-fitted devices. Anything compatible with genital piercings tends toward the more expensive side (and let's be real--you don't want to risk cheaply made products in your piercing holes). The Dome PA Chastity Cage is a well-built comfortable cage that is good for short-term use. But more than that, it's a great toy to try out before you commit to buying one of the more expensive pieces. This will let you see what it feels like to have a cage that is connected to your piercing before breaking the bank on something more extravagant.
Performance
A chastity cage's primary objective is to keep a penis from escaping its confines. The Oxy Dome PA Chastity Cage delivers spectacularly. With a steel-barred sheath imprisoning the outside of my equipment and a metal hook securing it from the inside, there is no chance of getting out without a key. It was overall quite comfy, neither too heavy nor too light. The gaps in the bars are large enough for some teasing and for washing. I wish the piercing hook came in different sizes, as it was a size too small and dug into me a little uncomfortably at times, but that's manageable. The big issue is the round shield at the end of the caged sheath. Where the piercing hook emerges from the urethra, it passes through hole in the middle of this shield. Unfortunately, the two pieces of metal caught my skin and pinched painfully.
Packaging
The package shipped in a nondescript cardboard box. Art inside the lid showed a leather-clad femdom from the neck down, revealing that--just like a chastity cage--the discrete package contains plenty to be excited about. The cage came with a cylinder lock, two keys, a black storage bag, and a little booklet giving instructions on how to use various toys that Oxy sells. This was a generic instruction manual which didn't have any info for a PA-specific chastity device. However, it provided plenty of helpful tips, including advice for safety and good hygiene.
Materials and care
All three parts of the chastity cage are made of 304 stainless steel, which Wikipedia informs me is "the most common stainless steel." The material is body safe, waterproof, and I was able to clean it easily with antibacterial Dial soap before putting it on and when showering with it. The aforementioned storage bag it comes with is a nice perk. The cylinder lock came with two keys, which are made from a cheaper material and one of the keys bent when unlocking it.
Special feature
The Oxy Dome PA Chastity Cage’s crowning feature is (unsurprisingly) the steel hook which is threaded through a Prince Albert piercing. With other chastity cages, it’s possible for someone’s member to slip free. I found there’s no chance of escape with a steel bar looped through my urethra and frenulum to hold everything in place. This may sound daunting, but it’s functionally the same as any other piercing jewelry. If you have a PA, you’ve already done the scary part. If not, this cage isn’t for you. I do wish that there were options for different sizes of PA hook. At time of writing, I’m just one size larger and still felt a slight discomfort from the uneven distribution of pressure.
