My Experience With Frenchie Double Entendre

I was so excited to receive Frenchie’s Double Entendre. The packaging is lovely, and it made unboxing it really special. This vibrator is made of gorgeously smooth silicone, the curves of the Double Entendre are wonderful and I was surprised at how bendable this toy was. I’m not partnered so this is all about solo play with it.

Design

The Double Entendre by Frenchie is a sleek, beautifully curved, silicone, double-ended vibrator. It comes in blue or melon and the silicone is a dream — velvety smooth. One of its best features is that it is bendable, so you can use adjust it to fit your body with ease. Although it's aimed at clitoral and g-spot stimulation the design of it easily allows it to be enjoyable for any gender. It’s easy to hold and simple to use and looks lovely.

Ease of Use

Frenchie’s Double Entendre is very easy to use. It has a single control button with an LED indicator on the larger head. You press the button for the count of 5, release, and then press to cycle through the different modes. To switch off, press and hold the button again. Although it is easy, it can be frustrating to have to cycle through all of the presets in order to find your favourite. To charge it, you need to push in the charging pin with quite some force, this becomes easier with time. The charger does stay in very well! As it's bendable you can use the Double Entendre hands-free, plus it's easy to bend it into a shape that's easy for you to use - perfect for anyone with mobility or grip problems.

Quality

The Double Entendre looks and feels like a high-quality product. The silicone is velvety smooth and its curves are wonderful. It feels solid, but light and it's great to hold. When I first started to bend the vibrator there were some slightly disturbing crunching noises. They have stopped now and it bends very smoothly. It doesn't always stay in its desired shape, but that's easy to rectify. It is a loud vibrator; I wish it was quieter as our walls aren’t very thick.

Price

The Double Entendre comes in at a great, mid-range price. Frenchie hasn’t scrimped on the materials or packaging for their product and gives you a lot for your money: body-safe soft silicone, 2 motors, rechargeability, and a variety of speeds and patterns. Its versatility comes from how bendable and gender-neutral it is. You also get some great extras such as a fabulous storage box and bag. It looks and feels like a high-quality product and is ideal for a gift.

Performance

I’m really not used to vibrators and I loved how easy it was to use and experiment with this one. It is so versatile. The design makes it easy to hold in a variety of positions, even hands-free. The vibrations are more buzzy than rumbly, but they were strong enough for me on the lowest setting. For g-spot stimulation I need more pressure, rather than vibrations so although this feels good, it doesn’t hit the spot internally for me. It is loud, even on the lower settings and that did affect my experience of it. The battery life is 2 hours and the charging time is also 2 hours which I think is great.

Packaging

Oh my! The packaging is so lovely. The box is strong and it’s shrink-wrap sealed. The design and colors of the packaging are vibrant. There is a tab on one side of the box which you pull to access the drawer where the vibrator can sit – either in or on top of its storage bag. Everything fits in the box easily and it all fits perfectly in the drawer of my bedside table. I do really like the packaging, it looks great and isn’t excessive.

Materials and care

The Double Entendre is made from medical-grade silicone, meaning it’s body-safe and non-porous. There are no seams on it either and it feels soft. The power button and logo can be felt with your thumb, but you’re not going to feel them on your body. It’s waterproof up to 1 meter deep and it's light to hold. As it’s silicone it’s really easy to clean with some gentle soap, then dried and it’s good to store ready for next time. It does come with a storage bag and the box is also suitable for storage too.

Special feature

Frenchie’s Double Entendre is a dual motor vibrator that’s designed to suit as many body types as possible. It does this by being very flexible. You can bend it just about in half, enabling you to enjoy g-spot and clitoral vibrations. You also don’t have to use it internally, it can easily bend to hug your body perfectly. It keeps its shape quite well and can even be used hands-free.  The toy isn’t just for those with a vulva. If your partner has a penis it is incredibly easy to bend it around the penis at the base or to stroke over the scrotum.
