Kiiroo Spot App Controlled Vibrator Review

Personal Experience

First impressions were good. The Spot is covered in lovely smooth pastel pink. It has a nice smooth egg shape and a size that will suit most people. It does look incredibly similar to the Lovense Lush 3 and the We-Vibe Jive 2, just with a wider tip at the end of the tail. The other unique element is the ring of LED lights on the tail. Personally, they don’t do much for me but I can see how they could be fun for camming. The Spot was super easy to connect and set up — no tech difficulties whatsoever! The vibrations are ok, but I found they were lacking the oomph that I want from a vibrator. I do generally like a very powerful and rumbly vibrator though. If you enjoy more gentle stimulation, you might enjoy this more. I did appreciate that the vibrations are quiet, and I can see this would be great for discreet public play or anyone who needs to be discreet at home.

Design

I think the Spot has a really nice design. The shape sits comfortably inside and you can easily move around and sit in different positions. The tail is flexible but sits against the body if you are wearing underwear. If you aren't wearing anything, it does flap around a bit as the head is a little heavy. I'm not annoyed by the lights in the head but they aren't really my cup of tea either. My partner thought they were mildly amusing and they might be more fun for camming.

Ease of Use

Overall, the Spot is very easy to use. It connected to the app in just a few minutes and the app is very easy and intuitive to navigate. If you don't want to use the app, you can also use the button on the toy to scroll through a small selection of settings but this is a little tiring and there are fewer settings to choose from than in the app. It does lose a few points for the on/off button as it's quite difficult to press. It's small and stiff and I'm never quite sure if I've pressed it as it doesn't have any tactile feedback. I can imagine this would make it difficult for people with limited finger strength.

Quality

I think the overall quality of the Spot is great. It feels sturdy, has a decent battery life and the vibrations are nice and quiet. The app also works great and I'm happy to see just how much it has improved. I couldn't give the Spot full marks for quality because the vibrations didn't quite live up to what I was hoping for in terms of power. They feel quite light and buzzy and lack the excitement I was hoping for.

Price

The Spot is cheaper than other similar models on the market and I think the price is reasonable considering it's an app-controlled vibrator. Whether or not it's worth it for you will depend on the level of power you desire in an internal vibrator. For me, it wasn't strong enough but for someone who prefers more gentle stimulation, it might be just right!

Performance

So as I've said, the vibrations were a little underwhelming for me and they didn't do a whole lot. Aside from that the Spot performed well. It connects to the app easily and the connection is stable while using. I also like that you can come out of the app and the toy stays on.

Packaging

I really like that Kiiroo use minimal packaging and it's all recyclable! The packaging has a tasteful design and looks kind of like any generic tech packaging.

Materials and care

The Spot is made from soft silicone, which is a fantastic sex toy material. It's also waterproof, making it easy to clean with soap and water. The only downside is that the Spot doesn't come with a storage bag, which is a little disappointing considering the price.
