Whenever I have the chance to test a toy from LELO, I’m thrilled. Their brand has become synonymous with quality, luxury, and consistent orgasms for me. The Enigma Double Sonic definitely lived up to my expectations in all these aspects! From the moment I received the shipping box, I was already impressed (although I must admit, I’ve been excited about this toy since I first saw it on their website). So opening the Enigma was basically like having sexy Christmas in July.

Design

LELO consistently produces stunning and practical toys that have never disappointed me, and the Enigma is certainly no exception. Its curved design is ideal, accommodating any internal anatomy while providing delightful sensations. The body-safe silicone used in its construction is not only soft and smooth but also feels as luxurious as its price tag suggests.

Ease of Use

Operating the Double Sonic is quite easy, after you get it figured out, thanks to the three buttons positioned on the inside of the handle. The central button turns the device on and off when held for three seconds. Pressing it quickly will toggle you through eight different settings. Press the top button to increase intensity and the bottom one to reduce. Press both + and – at the same time to trigger the travel lock and prevent any awkward moments when in transit. You can also bluetooth to the LELO app for more options, but I'll cover that more under "Special Features".

Quality

I've come to realize that LELO consistently delivers exceptional quality. The Enigma Double Sonic, although not the most discreet toy available, is undoubtedly one of the top choices for me. From its packaging to the storage bag and the toy itself, LELO embodies the essence of luxurious pleasure products in my opinion.

Price

The Enigma, priced at a substantial $349 on LELO's website, is certainly not a budget-friendly option. However, considering LELO's reputation for luxury, the price point doesn't come as a shock. Once you start using this toy, it's pretty clear why it's worth every penny. It comes with a USB charger and a very soft storage bag, as storing a silicone toy without protection, especially one as valuable as this, is not the best idea. We want to protect our investments, right?

Performance

If I were to give the Enigma a label, it would undoubtedly be "workhorse." After all, what other toy in the market provides three points of stimulation simultaneously? Clitoral, G-spot, and A-spot. Heck, I hadn't even heard of the term "A-spot" before receiving this toy. Whatever LELO's design team is doing, they certainly deserve a raise! I've never experienced a vibrator that works as efficiently and quickly as this toy. I'll even happily overlook the slightly loud motors, because without them, this absolute gift of a toy wouldn't function.

Packaging

My favorite aspect of luxury toys is their luxurious packaging. It seems that the higher the price point, the more elegant the packaging becomes. As someone who values aesthetics, I prefer packaging that is subtle and classy rather than overtly sexual. LELO consistently delivers pretty, sleek, and classy packaging. The Double Sonic arrived nestled in a sleek, black box with a large front window that beautifully showcased the toy itself. The back of the box featured clear, gold text providing information about the toy, materials, warranty details, and other essentials. Overall, the packaging was impeccable,10/10.

Materials and care

The Lelo Enigma Double Sonic is beautifully made from body-safe silicone and ABS plastic, making it completely waterproof and effortless to clean. Simply use warm soapy water or a spray of your preferred toy cleaner, pat it dry, and gently place it in its soft storage bag and you're all set!

Special feature

To fully maximize your Enigma Double Sonic experience, you need to download the LELO app and connect the toy via Bluetooth (with the app open and Bluetooth on, press the center button until it blinks, and it will connect). Once connected, you’ll see a “play” option and a “settings” option. In the “settings” section, you can customize the 8 preset vibration patterns, adjust the toy’s “auto-off” timeframe, or reset it to factory defaults. When you’re ready to explore the “play” menu, you’ll find three control options. You can adjust the toy’s intensity by tilting your phone, shaking it, or manually setting the vibration and patterns under the “manual” option. Additionally, there are “advanced mode” menu options that include “Finish me off” and “Out of control” modes.
