Lora DiCarlo Carezza Review
My Verdict
The Lora DiCarlo Carezza is a valiant attempt at a new style of sex toy. It wasn’t for me, but admittedly I have never tapped on my clitoris before to reach orgasm. If this is something you have done and enjoyed though, then there’s a good chance it would work for you, as there wasn’t really anything functionally wrong with it apart from its noise level. This, however, brings me back to my biggest concern with the Carezza, as with a hefty price tag, you’re probably going to want more than a "chance" that you’ll enjoy it. Due to this, I wouldn’t recommend the Carezza to beginners, and especially not to those on a budget. Instead, this is the vibrator for those who are feeling a bit bored by traditional toys and are happy to spend a bit extra for the chance to try something totally different.

About The Lora DiCarlo Carezza
An entirely new type of toy from luxury sex tech gods Lora DiCarlo, the Carezza uses micro-robotics to emulate the tapping of a finger with their brand new PercussionTouch technology! Italian for “caress”, the Carezza is then able to provide pinpoint pleasure wherever you want it using its pulsating stimulation point. With a discreet design and 10 intensity levels, it also features everything you’d expect from a luxury toy, being fully waterproof, USB rechargeable, travel-lockable, and body-safe.
The vibrations of the Lora DiCarlo Carezza are noisy, quite powerful, and somewhat rumbly

Personal Experience
First Impressions
When I first heard about Lora DiCarlo’s innovative new “tapping” vibrator, I was immediately intrigued. But as with any new style of toy, I didn’t really know what to expect. So I’ve got to admit, I was a little surprised when I turned the Carezza on for the first time and watched as its little “finger” comedically poked in and out of the silicone. As the toy speeds up, however, keeping up with this with my eyes becomes harder and harder, till it is finally just a blur, and I must say I was impressed with the range of speeds it offers. The downside to this high level of intensity though is its equally intense noise level, which not only ruins any privacy you might have been hoping for, but is distracting in use too.Trying It Out
Whenever I try a new style of sex toy, there is a period of adjustment as my body warms up to the new sensations. But even after using the Carezza on multiple occasions, I just haven’t been able to find that sweet spot. Placing it on my clitoris while at its lower speeds provides no stimulation at all, and even if it did I am not sure I would enjoy it, as the rhythmic tapping feels identical to a pattern mode, which I have always disliked on vibrators. As the speed increases things do improve, with the taps becoming too fast to be discerned. Plus, I’ve found I can press it against me as firmly as I want without the stimulation point slowing down, and with enough time and effort, even satisfying orgasms can be achieved. The problem, however, is that this only occurs on the toy’s highest setting, which, funnily enough, also feels the most like traditional vibrations, and I can’t help but think this defeats the whole point of the Carezza.Design
The Lora DiCarlo Carezza is one of the most discreet vibrators I’ve tried, looking more like a Smart Home device than a sex toy. The biggest contributors to this are its ability to stand upright and its grey colouring, although its minimal non-phallic design also helps. Breaking all the stereotypes, Lora DiCarlo have definitely subscribed to “less is more” here, but for those who enjoy the fun that “more” can offer, it may come off a bit boring.
Ease of Use
With a comfortable design and simple controls, Lora DiCarlo has made using the Carezza quick and easy. The larger button is used to turn the toy off and on, whilst the longer one allows you to increase or decrease the speeds (plus and minus symbols at either end of this indicate which side to press). Plus, you can either click through the levels one by one or hold the buttons down to move through them quickly, as well instantly reset the Carezza to its lowest intensity just by pressing the power button again.
Quality
The Carezza is of exceptional quality, from its silky smooth body to its range of features. The only two initial flaws that I’ve noticed, although this is just me being picky, is a light seam that runs around the silicone and a deep gap that lies between the two surface materials. Plus, the magnetic strength on the toy isn’t the best, which can make keeping it connected to its charger a little difficult.
Price
As with Lora DiCarlo’s other products, the Carezza’s biggest downside is its luxury price tag. With a number that would be more appropriate for a collection of toys rather than just one clit vibe, you’ll very much be paying for the brand-name, rather than just the toy itself. That being said, the extra money has also clearly gone into the product’s packaging and accessories, allowing the experience of unboxing it to match the extravagance of its price.
Performance
With around one hour of use on a full charge, the Carezza performs well and does not overheat. Downsides though are that I sometimes press the power button by accident, as it is located where my fingers naturally rest, and the noise level, which is very high and not appropriate for those who require discretion.
Packaging
With some of the best packaging I’ve ever seen, the Carezza feels more like I’m unboxing a new iPhone than a sex toy. Fairly large and minimal, the initial cover that wraps around the box features some basic information and pictures, before being removed to reveal a wonderfully discreet white box underneath. A small handle here then allows you to open up the magnetic door (a strong connection ensures there’s no chance this’ll open accidentally), which presents you with a striking yellow interior. Spreading this out fully, you’ll then find the toy resting safely in plastic on one side, and the product’s accessories in a small box on the other side, which are its charging cable, instruction manual, 1-year-warranty card and storage pouch.
Materials and care
The Carezza features two materials, with an immensely buttery-smooth silicone making up about half of it, whilst the lower portion is a silky ABS plastic. Both are fully body-safe and non-porous, and while the silicone does have some slight give to it, both are quite firm. Being 100% waterproof, cleaning is easy, as you can simply wipe the toy down with some warm soapy water or toy cleaner before rinsing and leaving to air dry. Although depending on how messy it gets, you may also want to use a spare toothbrush to scrub around the seam where the silicone meets the plastic, as bacteria may hide here. When you’re done you can then return the Carezza to its storage bag, and do be careful not to use silicone-based lubricant with it, as it may react badly to the silicone it is made with.
Special feature
Outside of its obvious speciality PercussionTouch technology, I’d say the Carezza’s special feature is its advanced battery displays. For instance, rather than just indicating when the toy is fully charged, the Carezza makes use of an LED display around its power button to tell you exactly how much of its battery has filled so far. Plus, when nearing the end of its charge during use, this display will begin to flutter to alert you, whilst if you accidentally leave the toy on stand-by mode, it will turn off automatically after five minutes in order to conserve power.
