Into the Unknown
My decision to review this product was born of a simple desire: to try new things. A spirit of adventure is a welcome spice to bedroom experiences. I had never used a cock ring before this. I had very little in the way of expectations. I didn’t know what it would feel like, for me or my wife, I simple hoped it would be fun. And it was! However….It’s Not For Me
…I found that, on a purely personal level, I simply don’t enjoy the experience of using a cock ring. The constriction and enhanced erection it provides felt more like a distraction than an enhancement, and frankly, after keeping it on for some time, it became rather uncomfortable. After experimenting together for a while, my wife came to the same conclusion. Her stimulation received from the vibrations of the cock ring was sporadic, due to the thrusting nature of intercourse, which actually made it more difficult for her to orgasm. We shrugged, and went back to basics: my wife used it as a vibrator while I pounded her silly. We both found that experience far more rewarding.However…
All that being said, my tastes happening to fall outside the target audience for this particular product by no means makes it a bad product. It is very high quality, waterproof, with a respectable vibration. In fact, as a simple hand-held vibrator, it’s my wife’s new favorite toy. The ribbed texture on the underside does wonders for her, and the buzz is satisfyingly strong. The remote works perfectly, it has a good battery life, and overall is just really solid. Looks and feels great. The silicone is soft and smooth, the ring is the perfect amount of elastic, and the vibrations are firm and insitent, without being too loud. It's waterproof, with a self-sealing silicone valve over the charging port. After using this product, I found I'm just not a cock-ring guy, so I didn't particularly care of the product's main draw, but from a purely technical standpoint I can't find a single flaw.
Ease of Use
As a first-time cock-ring wearer, I must admit I found the pleasurable execution of this device somewhat oblique. Putting it on is relatively easy; just lube up and slip it on. But using it in a way that made both me and my wife feel good--or at least better than we would by simply having sex without it--was a bit of challenge. Because the source of vibration is literally attached to a specific point on the shaft, said source only comes in contact with the clitoris at the end of every thrust. Instead of a consistent building sexual tension, it seemed to just give my wife a sense of frustration. The only way to maintain stimulation in the way she liked was in missionary position, so that our hips were constantly in contact. But missionary isn't a favorite of either of ours, so it felt more limiting than exciting.
Quality
Feels very solid. The silicone is dense and has a satisfying, but not uncomfortable heft to it. The vibrator is strong but quiet. It's rechargable, and recharges quickly. The charging port has a waterproof silicone valve over it. Put straightforwardly, I found absolutly no flaws.
Price
If you already know you enjoy using cock rings, I would heartily recommend this product for the price. The dual ring/vibrator combo is killer if you like that sort of thing, and the price seems justified in its assembly. If you're like me, and just wanting to try out a new experience with a cock ring, I would probably suggest going for something cheaper with fewer bells and whistles, on the off-chance you just don't like it.
Performance
Worked exactly as intended. The ring's constriction definitely made my penis feel stiffer--in my case, to the point of mild discomfort. The buzzing feels nice on the shaft, and when you really nail her sweet spot, can feel great on your partner as well. The battery lasts 50 minutes, which is more than enough considering it's recommended you take it off after 30 minutes max to prevent injury to your member. It's relatively quiet, and recharges fast.
Packaging
This toy unfortunately comes with no packaging, which is a ding against it. The fact that there are several loose parts, including the remote and charging cord, would have made even something as simple as a storage pouch very valuable.
Materials and care
It's made of body-safe non-porous silicone. It's waterproof, and couldn't be easier to clean. Just scrub it off with soap and water--making sure to get between the ribs on the underside--and you're good to go. The lack of storage containers impels me to also recommend you wash it thouroughly not just after each use, but before each use, as it will most likely be rolling around your dresser drawer between uses.
