My Verdict
I have always been a "messy" during sex type of girlie, so I have always wanted a waterproof blanket or throw that I could use during sex or my solo playtime that would be comfortable and easy to use, and make for a quick clean up after words. As far as working and soaking up any liquids or fluids that were spilt on the throw during play time the Lovehoney Luxury Washable throw does a great job! However, comfort is really important to me during sex and I felt like I was on a tarp whenever I had to make any movements on the throw. If you just are looking for something that will just soak up the mess and you are ok with still having to put a sheet or something else on top of it for comfort than the Lovehoney Luxury Waterproof throw will work perfectly. But, if you like me are also wanting something cute and cuddly that you can lay on and snuggle in prior to the main event, then this is not the blanket for you.

About The Lovehoney Luxury Waterproof Throw
The Lovehoney Luxury Waterproof Throw is a double-sided waterproof throw made from fleece and velvet, and is perfect for quick and easy clean up after a mess play time solo or with a partner. The Luxury throw is big enough to fit a double sized bed and is machine washable, but will need to be lined dried.

Personal Experience
My first impression after opening the Lovehoney Luxury Waterproof throw was mild disappointment. I have been wanting one of these types of blankets for a long time and I have seen a lot of them that look like actual throw blankets that can be displayed on a bed and are made of really soft and cozy fabrics. The feel of the fabric wasn’t bad, but only one side of the blanket felt good on my skin and the blanket makes a little bit of a crinkle noise every time I used it. We have used the blanket a handful of times and it does a superb job at keeping the mess contained and leakage from getting through to the mattress or furniture, I just wish I didn’t have to put an additional sheet on top of it for it to be more comfortable and less distracting (from the crinkle) to use.
Design
The design is where I had the biggest issue with the Lovehoney Luxury waterproof throw. I did not like the texture or feel of the blanket, especially the first use. We did notice that is has gotten softer after use and washes though. I personally do not think it looks luxurious, it looks like a really sad fabric tarp and it basically felt like that to me too, not awful, but certainly not what I was expecting from the words Luxury and throw.
Ease of Use
There is no learning curve when using the Love Honey Luxury Waterproof throw. You can basically pull it out of the box, throw it into the wash before use and you are good to go. We did notice that after the third use the whole middle of the throw bunched itself together into a weird looking ball. It too us a few minutes to get it flattened back out and it sounded like we were ripping velco apart to do it. I did notice after that on the box that it said it needed to be lined dried so that is probably why, and was my fault for not reading.
Quality
The Lovehoney Luxury Waterproof throw is made extremely well as far as the sewing goes on the product. There were no issues with caps, or noticeable crooked lines, or any other sewing issue there may be with a product of this nature. The throw does make some noise when you move it around, kind of like a really soft tarp, and that was a but distracting for me. The product was also made to be line-dried and I think that is really inconvenient for a blanket that I am pulling out when I want to have sex or masturbate because then I need to factor in dry time and everything else too.
Price
I looked online at a few other waterproof sex blankets, and as far as price the Love Honey Luxury Waterproof throw is competitive in price. I think in general that waterproof blankets/throws are a little expensive but I definitely would not pay this price for the quality of this blanket on my own. Especially if you are looking for something that feels comfy and cozy, I would look elsewhere.
Performance
As far as performing how it should, the Love honey Luxury Waterproof throw did contain the "mess" that I made during sex with my partner and even during solo play. I was expecting this to be more comfortable to lay on however. When I am having sex with someone or masturbating, I want to be in a really comfortable setting and cozy. This blanket did not provide that cozy feeling for me, it was a little scratchy on one side and on the other side my texture issues were going crazy with how it felt.
Packaging
The packaging for the Love Honey luxury waterproof throw was minimal and simple, which was fine with me because this is a blanket for during sex so I think that is pretty self-explanatory. The blanket did come sealed in plastic inside the box and that made it seem very clean and protected.
Materials and care
The Love honey Luxury Waterproof throw is waterproof, so that made it fairly easy to clean after use. Per the instructions, the throw should be washed at 86 degrees or below so that is what I did, as well as drying it on delicate with a lower temp to be safe, I inspected it when I pulled it out of the dryer and I didn’t notice any frays or loose threads and it a little bit softer.
