My Verdict
I love this toy. It has become part of my regular rotation. The "tapping" sensation that Lovehoney markets with this product was something new and unique that I really enjoy. For a fairly affordable toy, this thing really packs a punch. This is a small, powerful, staple vibrator that provides quick powerful pleasure!

Personal Experience
Tapping Sensation
This is by far the most appealing feature of this vibrator. The Power Pulse provides stimulation via the circular portion at the center of the silicone which quickly taps in and out. The sensation it provides is closer to oral sex than the typical clitoral vibrator. Think of it like oral sex on 10x speed and intensity. Though there are only 3 vibration speeds, I repeatedly found them to be adequate for achieving quick, intense orgasms. I have been reaching for this toy often since receiving it. That being said, I think more variation in the tapping speed could more closely replicate that oral sex feeling. I found that there was only one vibration pattern that mimicked a realistic speed. I’m not typically a fan of pattern modes, and did not enjoy the other 5. If there were more speed variations, this would be a 5/5 in my eyes.So Simple
The second thing I really enjoyed about the power pulse was the fact that all you really had to do to reach an orgasm was hold it in place. The tapping sensation offers the variety required to keep things exciting enough to finish. For that reason, it has become my most frequently used toy for solo use.Partner Use
I tried using this toy while having sex with my partner, and in that area it left something to be desired. The large end and small tapping area made it difficult to use while engaging in other activities. I found it to be a little too difficult to pinpoint exactly where I needed it and keep it in place. The Power Pulse is half silicone on the area that provides stimulation, and half plastic on the back. It would look and feel slightly more elevated if the entire toy were silicone. I fear the cheaper plastic portion of this toy will wear in time, especially given it is waterproof and will be used in water. The large black power button contrasts nicely with the silver plastic, making it easy to locate. The black and silver color offers a gender-neutral look.
Ease of Use
The Power Pulse is controlled by one large black power button that contrasts nicely with the silver plastic on top of the toy. It is easy to locate by look or feel. The wide shape of this toy, lends itself to being held by the full hand with the pointer landing nicely on the power button. The power button can be pushed to alternate between speeds and patterns. With a hand placed lightly on top of the toy, it stays in place nicely while laying or standing. The wide shape may pose some difficulty for those with mobility issue who require more of a handle.
Quality
The functionality of this toy is excellent. Performance was consistent. Some of the other details are what make this toy feel slightly lower quality than others. The plastic back half makes the toy feel lighter weight and a little cheaper, though it does not impact performance. The Power Pulse is also much louder than many other clitoral vibrators.
Price
For $74.99 I would rate this toy on the more affordable side for quality clitoral vibrators. This is definitely worth the price tag. This is a toy that will get used often and repeatedly. The sensation it provides is consistent and pleasurable and will be used for a long time to come. In the box, a charging cable, clear plastic zipper bag, and instruction manual are provided.
Performance
The Power Pulse lived up to expectations. The tapping sensation was something unique and welcome. I was looking for a new sensation in a clitoral vibrator and this delivered. I found the tapping to be preferable to vibration. It felt amazing and worked quickly to provide a powerful orgasm. It is loud, which can cause issues if you need to be discreet. This vibrator never overheated, even with prolonged use and worked well in water. 60 minute charge time for 60 minutes of use, which is slightly lower than some other comparable toys which offer 90 minutes of use.
Packaging
The box this came in is flimsy. Compared to similar toys, I found the packaging to be cheaper. In the box, it is stored in a clear disposable plastic zip bag. No storage bag is provided. The instruction manual was difficult to navigate. All languages are provided on a large folded sheet of paper with limited information on it. The box provided instructions on the side that were easier to read. If you prefer to keep the instruction manuals, this one would likely be insufficient.
Materials and care
This is made of latex-free and phthalate-free silicone and hard plastic. The toy has some weight to it which gives it a somewhat luxurious feel, despite the cheap look of the plastic. It is waterproof and submersible. The instructions say to clean with sex toy cleaner, though I have used soap and water and found this to be sufficient. There are grooves around the tapping portion of this toy that are a little difficult to clean. No storage bag or box was provided.
