Test Winner njoy Pure Wand
- Dual ended with two different size bulbs
- Extreme curve
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ Great for G or p-spot stimulation
- ✅ Weight is great for deep massage
- ✅ Beautiful presentation box
Cons
- ❌ Can catch on pubic bone
Why I Chose It
The njoy Pure Wand is an iconic sex toy that definitely lives up to it’s status! I got my hands on the njoy Pure Wand relatively early on in my sex toy reviewing career and it blew my mind!
You might be wondering it has a slightly lower score than some others in the review even though it’s the the test winner, but it’s simple because it has so many more user reviews — hundreds compared to the others which have fewer than 10. There’s no doubt in my mind that this is the best metal dildo there is!
Using the Pure Wand was a real G-spot awakening for me. I loved how deeply I could massage my G-spot because of the intense curve, rigidity, and weightiness of the wand. It was a sensation quite unlike I had been able to get with silicone dildos. I would absolutely recommend the Pure Wand to anyone looking for the best metal G-spot dildo!
I will say the times I’ve enjoyed the Pure Wand most are when it’s been used on me by a partner, because it is heavy and can take quite a lot of work, but I still enjoy using it myself from time to time! The only slight downside is that I find it can catch on my pubic bone sometimes, but that’s more of a user error than a flaw with the dildo.
The real icing on the cake for this beautiful metal dildo is the almost regal presentation box it comes in, with a silky pink pillow to place it on!
Best for Beginners Le Wand Bow
- Double ended with different size balls
- Swirling ridge around one end
- Slight curve
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ Ridges add sensation
- ✅ Smaller end good for very targeted stimulation
- ✅ Less intimidating than other dildos
Cons
- ❌ Not recommended for anal play
- ❌ Ridges can be irritating for some
Why I Chose It
Metal dildos can look quite intimidating, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be beginner-friendly! I love that the Le Wand Bow delivers all the amazing benefits of the other metal dildos on the market in a smaller size.
Our tester, Rachel, was “blown away” by just how good the Bow felt. She really enjoyed having the smaller side to start with as it was less intimidating but really enjoyed that “the rounder end also felt like it was making much more contact with all the right spots inside”
She found it was “great both for standard in-and-out thrusting, as well as a rocking motion” and appreciated that you“don’t have to exert a lot of force to get a lot of stimulation from it.”
She wasn’t such a fan of the ridging as they could be a bit irritating, especially during more vigorous thrusting, so that’s something to keep in mind if you are very sensitive to textures.
If I were choosing between the Bow and other metal dildos, I would go for the Bow if I wanted a small metal dildo for vaginal play. However, I would say the intense curve of the Pure Wand or Hoop are better for more intense G-spot stimulation and have the benefit of being anal safe.
Best Beaded njoy Fun Wand
- Three tapered beads
- One tapered bulbed end
- S-shape curve
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ Beaded end is great for anal
- ✅ Very different sensations from each side
- ✅ Slim and beginner-friendly
Cons
- ❌ May be too small for some
- ❌ Could be intimidating for anal beginners
Why I Chose It
I chose the njoy Fun Wand as the best metal dildo for anal because of it’s slimmer, beaded design that’s similar to anal beads. The other end also has single bulb that’s fantastic for g-spot or prostate massage!
Kasia reviewed the Fun Wand and commented that the “metal shaft’s weight and firmness felt amazing”
Her favorite side was the single bulbous tip, as “it worked wonders on [her] G-spot.” She also “enjoyed the beads, even though the anal play is not [her] favorite thing”
And luckily for us, Kasia also let her partner try it out to get a penis owners perspective, reporting that “He also really enjoyed the bulbous end” for prostate stimulation and he was even “close to finishing from penetration only.”
Given Kasia and her partner’s experience with the Fun Wand, I would say this is a great all round metal dildo. I would go for this over other options if I wanted more precise stimulation or some interesting textural stimulation.
Most Realistic Le Wand Arch
- Thick bulbed end with ripples
- Flat tipped end
- Light curve
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ Creates more of a full feeling
- ✅ Two very different ends for different sensations
Cons
- ❌ Heavier than other metal dildos
- ❌ Not a big difference in size between the two ends
- ❌ Not anal safe
Why I Chose It
As much as the Pure Wand will always be my first love when it comes to metal dildos, the Le Wand Arch fills a niche with it’s thicker, bulbous tip.
Unlike the Pure Wand that has a ball and then a thin shaft, the Arch is thick and bulbous, creating a wonderfully full feeling. It’s much closer to the feel of penetrative sex, only it’s the got the wonderful weightiness and glide of a metal dildo.
Although, the Arch is double ended, I found that much preferred the thicker end to the flat tip. That being said, I can see it being enjoyable for g-spot or A-spot massage.
The one downside to all that girth is that it does make the Arch heavier than most similar metal dildos on the market. The added weight isn’t all bad though, as in some positions it means gravity really gives you a helping hand, almost pulling the dildo back inside you.
Biggest Metal Dildo njoy Eleven
- Extra long and girthy
- Double-ended
- Extremely weighty
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ Provides stretch and extreme fullness
- ✅ A marvel to look at and hold
- ✅ Premium leather storage bag
Cons
- ❌ Will be too large for many
- ❌ Very expensive
- ❌ May be too heavy for some to manoeuvre
Why I Chose It
I won’t lie, my jaw dropped when I saw the njoy Eleven. It is big and it is dominating! Our tester, Cassie, described it as “elegant, luxurious, sturdy, and just pretty darn impressive,” and I think that is the perfect description!
She made sure to take her time with this massive metal dildo, but was actually “pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use the smaller end of the toy.”
She found that the bigger 2-inch end was a bit more of a challenge, but once inserted, “It provided a really nice feeling of being stretched out.”
As well as the intense sensations that the Eleven offers, I think a big part of the appeal is psychological, with the idea of being completely full and pushed to your limits being arousing for many people. Cassie and her partner certainly found that they were “both a bit excited to test [her] limits.”
Based on the price and size of the Eleven, I wouldn’t recommend it to most people unless you are looking for the most advanced metal dildo on the market.

How to Choose the Right Metal Dildo for You
Metal dildos tend to share a lot of similarities with only small variations but they can make quite a difference to the overall experience. Here are some pointers to help you find your perfect metal dildo.
If you are looking for…
- Deep g-spot or p-spot massage I recommend the njoy Pure Wand as the intense curve and weight makes it easy to apply more pressure.
- A filling sensation I recommend the Le Wand Arch or for a more extreme experience the njoy Eleven, with a juicy maximum diameter of 2 inches!
- Textured stimulation — both the Le Wand Bow and njoy Fun Wand have added textures but the Fun Wand’s texture is more intense.
What Are the Pros and Cons of Metal Dildos?
While it might not be your first thought, metal is actually a fantastic sex toy material!
Let’s take a look at why, and at the end, I’ll also share some cons because we want you to have the whole picture!
What’s so great?
If you’ve made it this far and still aren’t convinced about metal dildos, I’ve put together all of the reasons metal makes for an amazing dildo material!
- It provides intense stimulation that doesn’t come from vibrations. Maybe you don’t like vibrations or just fancy a change but still crave intense sensations — hello metal dildo!
- It’s easy to enjoy a deep, firm massage without needing to strain your wrist, as the weight does a lot of the work!
- Stainless steel, which good quality metal dildos are made from, are is non-porous and non-toxic making it one of the safest sex toy materials.
- They are easy to clean and can be boiled to be sterilized.
- Metal dildos are extremely durable and could probably survive the apocalypse. Maybe they will be displayed in space museums as the last remaining artefacts of human civilisation — I hope so at least!
- You can use any lube you like with a metal dildo, as it won’t react with the material.
- It can be heated or cooled and holds temperature, making it the perfect temperature play accessory.
- Metal dildos look sleek, elegant, and a little bit risky — a thrilling combination!
How to Identify Real Stainless Steel from Other Metal Sex Toys
There are a few different methods you can use to see if your sex toys are made from something other than genuine stainless steel.
First, observe the toy itself. Is the surface of the toy smooth and shiny? If so, is the metal heavy?
You may want to compare the weight of your toy to the weight in the listing.
Rusting, staining, or discoloration are instant giveaways.
If you see any of these then your toy isn’t made from stainless steel.
You can also try rubbing a cloth dipped in isopropyl alcohol on your toy. If there’s a reaction—such as a residue–then it’s not stainless steel.
Different Types of Metal Dildos
In the following I will take you through the different types of metal dildos out there. Of course, that aren’t that much different other than mainly the different shapes – but picking out one it will do you good to know the differences.
Curved metal dildo
To be fair, most metal dildos actually have some curvature to it. It naturally just makes sense from a design and usage perspective to make it curved. However, some come with a very explicit curve making it optimal for g-spot stimulation, as you can get a “come hither” movement, by just moving the curved metal dildo back and forth making it automatically hit the g-spot.
Bulbous metal dildo
Again, a lot of metal dildos have som sort of bulbeous head which are meant to stimulate either the prostate or the g-spot. The bulb makes for a larger surface area that ensures it is easier to hit the exact right spot.
Double ended metal dildo
On most metal dildos you will effectivly be able to use both ends. That is even if one end is shaped and meant to be a handle. If it works for you, it works for you. Typically one end of the dildo will be thicker or have different shapes and textures that the other giving you som flexibility, that is otherwise not really found in steel toys.
Double-ended dildos are of the most common designs. They have two different stimulation ends, with either different sized heads or different shapes and textures. This gives you the ability to explore different sizes or sensations with just one toy! Remember that the insertable length won’t be the same as the full length of the toy as you use one end as a handle.
G-spot metal dildo
Typically the curved metal dildos will be perfect for hitting that g-spot. In essense, the material itself (metal) is awesome because of the hardness. Which is also why, you will see most dildos in metal being shaped in a way that is meant to effectively stimulate the g-spot.
Beaded metal dildo
A beaded metal dildo is typically made to target anal use. Similar to anal beads (just harder). Using metal anal beads will stimulate you rectum in a wonderful way. The advantage of the beads and dildo being out of metal is so that it is easy to insert and use in thrusting motions (compared to the typically softer anal beads). Plus, the feeling will be more intense due to the rigidity of the beads.
Electro metal dildo
Spicing it up with electricity is also an option, as some types of metal dildos have the option to give you electrical shocks. Also called electro metal dildos. They are for the more advances, but a metal dildo also works especially will as an electricity conducter and therefore perfect as an electro sex toy.
