NEW Tenga Flip Orb Review
My Verdict
The new Tenga Flip Orb is versatile stroker, with many ways to adjust to your preferred style. The "squeeze" feature is an interesting addition to the overall stroker design, although overall I question its longevity and ability to keep clean.

Personal Experience
Is it Time to Flip Out?
I was excited to try the Tenga Flip Orb masturbators. As far as sex toys go, I usual prefer ones that can offer something a little different. It seemed like the Tenga Flip Orb was offering just that. Each of the two models have a unique textured interior, with pressure pads on the sides to vary the feel. There was a lot to be excited about in this toy. Design-wise, they seem to have put some serious thought into it. My first impressions were that this toy was a high-quality build. It definitely doesn’t feel cheap, with sturdy design and construction. Packaging it with two single servings of lube was a nice touch, so you can get right into the action.Functionality
The Tenga Flip Orb opens easily, which made lubing it up a breeze. Slap the sucker closed, and the snap-on cap keeps the whole thing from opening up during use. This open design also, in theory, makes this easy to clean (more on that later).Did it Live Up to the Expectations?
I feel the need to preface this with the fact that masturbation sleeves have never really been my thing… They tend to make me cum pretty fast. Obviously that’s because it feels good, but sometimes because it’s over so quickly, I don’t have time to really enjoy the subtleties of different designs. That being said, what I appreciated from this the Tenga Flip Orb, are the pressure pads. This offered me an alternative to stroking… rather than pumping away, I was able to insert myself into the toy, and just hold there while playing with the pressure pads. This was a great alternative for me and helped me to enjoy the Tenga Flip Orb on level that other strokers wouldn’t necessarily permit. I can’t say that I could really tell the difference between the two models; One is supposed to be “softer” than the other, but I couldn’t discern between them. However, for those of you who really enjoy different masturbation sleeves, I think the Tenga Flip Orb has a cool design and does a good job at offering a unique twist on the typical sleeve.Design
The Tenga Flip Orb looks great. They have really thought of everything for your experience. The inside textures are really interesting in both the "Blue Rush" and "Orange Crash" versions of the toy. A combination of soft elastomer textures with firm orbs to rub you the right way. They are not too bulky and fit well in your hand (a must for a stroker). The colors are pleasant and they have an interesting feature: the pressure pads. These pads on the sides allow for squeezing, which can alter the experience. Want it tighter? Squeeze with all your might! Want a more relaxed grip? Let your member control the tightness... And everything in between. It also comes with a snap-on cap to keep the toy closed and increases the suction.
Ease of Use
The Tenga Flip Orb is really easy and intuitive. It flips opens, which makes it extremely easy to lube up. Close it back up, snap on the lid, and enter with ease. The size of the toy is fairly manageable, although those with small hands, or grip issues might have a problem. However, you can hold this toy many ways, and it works give equally satisfying experiences.
Quality
The Tenga Flip Orb seems well built. The plastic parts look sturdy and seem built to last. I question the inner material though... Elastomer is a soft material, which makes it good for that sensation we are all looking for when using a stroking toy. However, elastomer is not very durable, and with all the ridges and bumps included in the Tenga Flip Orb, I'm not sure how long this reusable toy will last. Add the fact that elastomer is porous, and improper cleaning could result in bacterial formation.
Price
The Tenga Flip Orb seems pricey compared to other non-vibrating sleeves around. I suppose the versatility of the product does warrant a higher price point, but it does seem like a toy you save up for. The brand is well established, so there is a quality assurance that you are paying for.
Performance
The textures of both Tenga Flip Orbs are quite pleasant, although I can't say I was able to really tell the difference between the two. I'm thinking maybe it's a "me" thing, as I've had this issue with other textured strokers. They do seem to have gone all out with their textures though, and for those with more discerning cocks, perhaps you would notice a difference. The cap made to keep the toy closed (and thus increase the suction) is a nice addition, and allows for variety. I tried it both with the cap on and with the cap off, and both offered a noticeable difference in experience. What's nice is that you have that option. The star of the Tenga Flip Orb is definitely the pressure pads that can control the tightness. This is a great feature that again allows for personal preference!
Packaging
The box it came in was simple and not over-packaged. Instructions and two packs of lube were included. This clean and simple packaging made me happy. The only thing that I might have liked is some sort of bag perhaps to keep it in, as the elastomer "hole" has a tendency to attract dust and dirt.
Materials and care
This is the one section where I feel the Tenga Flip Orb is questionable. The casing is well built. The issue I have is the elastomer insides. Elastomer is soft, which gives you the feeling you want when plunging into the stroker. The problem is that elastomer is not very durable, and it's porous. Given the number of ridges and nooks and crannies inside the Flip Orb, I imagine it won't take long before these bumps start to tear. More troubling is the cleaning aspect. Although there are ways to clean elastomer, again because of all the valleys in this toy's interior, I can't see a way it can be effectively cleaned time and time again. The thought process of having the toy open makes cleaning much easier, but still not easy. It was awkward to try and get into every crevice of this toy when cleaning it.
