My Experience With Saffron Gauntlet Cuffs
Beauty and Versatility
When I first brought out the Saffron gauntlet cuffs, I was taken aback by how soft and beautiful they were. It’s a common misconception that BDSM items should be firm and cause discomfort during use and these cuffs put that to rest. The entire Saffron collection provides elegant and beautiful items that are adjustable and perfect for adding a little Va Va Voom! It was impossible to secure the product by myself, so I brought in my husband to help me loosen the ties – which was necessary with how tight they were and how thick my forearms are. One they were loosened like shoelaces, I was able to slip my arms in and find comfort! Then he tightened them and even at the most tight it still had comfort and did not pinch or give me any discomfort. During use, it was easy to reposition these so my arms were in front of my body, above my head, or behind me. It was gorgeous to wear and see, and provided a lot of photo options as well as it forced my body into an elegant silhouette. I struggled and was not able to get them off, which worked perfectly for the BDSM adventure we were about to go on!Perfect for Beginners
Overall, these Saffron gauntlet cuffs are excellent for beginners and quite easy to navigate. They added that extra dose of beauty and really ended up being a fantastic addition to my collection. These Gauntlet BDSM cuffs are positively gorgeous. They are cushioned on the inside for comfort and attached together so the wrists and forearms can be secured together for a beautiful, bound look. There is a corset wrap on the outmost arm attachments that add to the elegance of this product and are able to be cinched for a tighter wear, or loosened to accommodate different sizes of arms and positioning depending on the preference of the player. The inside, main part of the arm attachments are black vegan leather and the outsides where the corset ropes tie it's a deep red. These are soft enough to be mailable against the skin and yet firm enough to feel high-quality and not easily breakable.
Ease of Use
These Gauntlet BDSM cuffs are easy to use. Simply untie the corset loose ends of rope and ease open the sides (as you would loosen shoelaces or a corset). Then you slip your forearms within so your hands are exposed and easily able to clasp together. The wrist and forearms will be within the product and then it can be tightened by your partner to a desired firmness during play. They can be used above the body, in front of the body, or behind the body depending on the preference of the players.
Quality
These are made of vegan leather and are soft enough to be moved around and malleable, while also being firm enough to withstand straining. There are small, round security pieces around each of the rope holes, ensuring the ties are not strained against the vegan leather. This provided another additional security for this product. Overall, I only noticed some strain marks on the vegan leather after several months of regular use. I am sure after years these may soon tear in several areas, but for the price they really are a good quality for a beginner BDSM collection.

You can find the Saffron Gauntlet Cuffs for under $40 on most retail sites. I found this to be a fantastic price for this product. It gives you full arm bondage and restraint for less than half the price of most under the bed restraint systems and at a comparable price to many handcuffs.
Performance
These cuffs perform quite flawlessly during use. They can be secured fully to make it near impossible to move your arms and wrists, or they can be loosened to give a little bit more wiggle room. Their intent is to restrain the arms together and provide a beautiful view at the same time. They certainly did this! Although it is important to mention that you must have a partner tie them to truly allow them their full potential, it's nearly impossible to tie them by yourself (or untie them). They made for a sturdy, beautiful BDSM addition and did exactly what they were advertised to do.
Packaging
The packaging is quite basic, but does provide photos of different ways in which the cuffs can be used. This gives you a little bit of additional ideas that you can mull over if you desire. Inside, the Gauntlet cuffs are nestled comfortably, but do not come with a storage bag to keep them. Thankfully they can easily be folded or kept together without issue.
Materials and care
These cuffs are made with vegan leather and have a crimson ribbon sewn along the edges where the rope is threaded. They are beautiful and sturdy, and can be cleaned with mild soap and water lightly on the outside if you happen to get oil or lubrication on them. Still, with the positioning of these cuffs, they are not intended to be drenched in anything and certainly should not be washed too much or you might threaten breaking down the cushioning or wrinkling the vegan leather on the outside.
Special feature
Most BDSM cuffs will stretch your limbs and force your muscles to extend and hold in the required position. Others will simply secure around the wrists and hold you secure there. These allowed for more restraint without having to stretch the muscles uncomfortably. This gives a more secure positioning and firmer restraint than the typical cuffs provide.

In conclusion, this was a stunningly beautiful design and product that I would highly recommend for someone that is looking for a way to dress up their BDSM experience. Whether it's simply to share with your partner, to provide more confidence for yourself or partner, for photos, or otherwise! How to use Saffron Gauntlet Cuffs
Simply untie the ends and loosen the corset straps much like you would with a pair of shoelaces. Then when they are loose enough, you slip your hands through so the hands are exposed on the end and the forearm and wrists are within. Hands will face each other like you plan to clasp them together (and can, with comfort) then the laces are tightened and tied at the end to your liking.
