Unwrapping the Sportsheets Saffron Flogger: My Experience

I was excited to explore what kinds of sensations I could experience with the Saffron Flogger from Sportsheets. While I also practiced using it, I mostly like to be on the receiving end, so I’ll be focussing more on the sensations. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to handle. As with any flogger, it does take a bit of practice to find the right distance and force, so I do recommend practicing on an inanimate object first! I would rate the intensity at light to medium. It’s light enough that you are unlikely to accidentally go too hard but if you prefer a more intense thuddy sensation, this flogger might not be weighty enough for you. It definitely gives a satisfying impact and sound without really having to worry that it will be too intense. In general, it has more of a thuddy impact with a slight sting at the end. You can get a more stingy, whipping sensation out of it with a bit more force, but that’s more difficult to get right as you have to use more force and get the distance just right. I also really love the feeling of having the flogger brushed over the sensitive areas of my body for some more sensual, tickling sensations. It’s also really great paired with the Sportsheets Under Bed Restraints for a more intense feeling of submission.

Exploring the Design

The Saffron Flogger comes in the Saffron range's signature black and red color scheme with a black metal handle. While the black and red combo isn't my favorite, I do like the dual color effect in the falls and think it's a relatively neutral design that would please a broad audience. It's also great if you want to collect more of the matching toys from the Saffron Range!
My User Experience Unveiled

The Saffron Flogger is very easy to use and makes a great beginner's flogger. It's not too long, and you can swing it relatively hard without it being painful. That being said, you can also work up to quite a thwack if you want to! It also makes a very satisfying sound and the wrist loop makes it easy to keep hold of.
Grading the Quality

This isn't the highest quality flogger and that's not much of a surprise given the price, but it is well made, and it has definitely been put to the test. How else to celebrate New Year's Eve than with your drunk friends testing out your new flogger! As you can imagine the thwacks only got harder as the night went on. This flogger ended up being the main attraction of the party and there were no signs of damage the next day (the same can't be said for the people involved). So yes, this is a very well built vegan flogger!
Evaluating the Price Point of the Sportsheets Saffron Flogger

I would say this is a very reasonable price for a non-leather flogger. The affordable price also makes it a great option for anyone wanting to try out flogging before investing in a more expensive one or anyone who just wants to dabble in BDSM now and again.
Assessing the Performance of the Sportsheets Saffron Flogger

The Saffron Flogger is very easy to handle and makes a great beginners flogger. You get quite a sound without it being too hard of a thwack. You can get some intensity going but it takes a fair amount of force.
Evaluating the Sportsheets Saffron Flogger’s packaging

The Sportsheets Saffron Flogger comes packaged in a clear plastic bag so make sure to order from somewhere that offers discreet shipping and make sure to open it at home. There was no information printed on the bag and the only other thing inside the bag was a small tag attached to the flogger.
Material and care guide

The falls of the Saffron Flogger are made from polyurethane and the handle from nickel free metal. It's a little tricky to clean aside from wiping it down, so I would avoid using it with multiple partners, especially if you get bodily fluid on it.

Conclusion
I think this makes a really great beginner’s flogger and definitely adds a lot of fun to impact play and power play, but it might not fulfil more advanced tastes. It’s also a very reasonable price for a well-made flogger. If you are looking to try flogging for the first time or just want a flogger for occasional use, the Saffron Flogger is a great option!
